At a Mini mechanic claiming the same issue!RIP OFF! Went to my local mechanic and he said they were not being honest! since the owner wants to attack me, I was at this shop once before and it was a positive interaction however they said they cleared all my check, engine, lights and warning lights! Once I drove around for a few days, those lights all came back on and I purchased a scanner to figure out what was going on. Turns out that they could've easily figured out that all I needed was a Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid . So after two visits to the shop, not only did they not diagnose it, but it causes me to fail my inspection so then I had to purchase a reader and then fixed it myself! and they said that my warning lights for my headlights and my tail lights were short! So I bought headlights myself and put them in and the tail light was an easy fix, but they couldn't figure this out either! This shop is a farce. Don't trust them whatsoever the owners arguing with me over their failure to actually do a good job for their customers! This car runs great and I take care of it and have every maintenance done that I can as it's driven all across the country for over 107,000 miles so for you to question my upkeep of it is offensive!!!

During this period, along with knowledge and experience with professional racing came aspirations for his own racing endeavors. Involvement in the Porsche Club of Americas (PCA) Drivers Education program introduced Autometrics, which had been primarily an import repair shop, to track cars and performance driving. In 1999, when track work took over the majority of the business, Autometrics Motorsports split off as its own entity. This was also when we decided to make the jump from amateur racing to professional racing. Our professional racing resume includes World Challenge, Grand Am Rolex, ALMS, Grand Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, and IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge. Highlights include campaigning the final air-cooled 911 in the Daytona 24 in 2001; podium finishes in Rolex Series from 2002-2004; a race win and 3rd in the Team Championship in the 2005 Rolex Series; multiple podiums and wins in the 2006 CTSCC, narrowly losing the Championship and finishing 2nd with Marcus Motorsports; and multiple podiums and wins earning 2nd in the IMSA Challenge Platinum class in 2011. We continue to be highly active in PCA Club Racing, building and support cars for all classes. Our drivers earn numerous wins and podiums and set new track records every season.

Car…read morerepairs are never easy, especially when the cost is significant, but we truly want to thank the team for helping us through the process. ERIN and SKYE went above and beyond by applying coupons and making price adjustments whenever possible. We really appreciate the effort they made to help lessen the financial burden. Not everything always turns out perfectly in situations like this, but what really matters is how things are handled and they handled everything with professionalism, patience, and kindness. They truly are one of a kind and represent the business very well. We are grateful for all the support they've given us from the start. As for the mechanic, I can't fully say much just yet. There was an issue previously where I paid for something that was not replaced. Thankfully, I noticed it, brought it to their attention, and they corrected it. I'm hopeful that everything is now in good condition with the repair. I'm praying that everything inside is okay moving forward. Overall, thank you to the team for working with us and addressing our concerns. We truly appreciate the effort and care shown throughout this experience.

For my non FB having fiance- I'm posting this review…read more Had a mechanic (Honest-1 Auto in West Ashley) botch an oil change which my regular mechanic discovered about 3 weeks later. Honest-1 didn't replace the filter housing correctly and my 2019 4Runner was noticeably low on oil when it was discovered. Fast forward - my engine now has internal damage and either needs to be replaced or rebuilt (in part). My main mechanic (Japanese Import Pros) confidently stated that the problem with my engine is result of being driven on low oil. Honest confirmed that there is internal damage, after their "master mechanic" changed other parts I didn't actually need and the problem still persisted. They actually denied hearing anything initially. Honest-1 ran me low on oil originally Honest-1 told me it wasn't an internal issue, replaced functioning parts with factory equiv OEM parts that I didn't need (problem still exists). They waived corrective oil change charges and replacement parts charges (covering their tracks) Changed their story twice Signed me up for a line of credit that I never asked for (told me they finance work if needed, but actually signed me up for a credit card instead) They are offering one solution, they tear apart the engine to assess before they do anything for me. Why would I allow them to do that after all of this? A shop that damaged my vehicle wants to disassemble the engine to prove they didn't do anything?!? GM has been communicating just fine- though I found out my neighbor took them to small claims and they were ordered to pay and never did. Just a fair and factual warning to everyone who considers this shop. I should have paid mind to their reviews across FB, Google and all other avenues of review because they are all not good.
