It was just as i remembered it being, just in Missouri, waiter was nice and attentive, atmosphere is the same as it has been for years, lots of things on the walls, gift shop, located on the river so the views were good for a lot of the tables, the Cajun boil was great, crab and shrimp dip was good. Coconut shrimp was decent but all the others were way better lots of happy families, eating and walking the river.

We haven't been to a Joes Crab Shack in about 10-15 years, and it may be longer until we go back, my husband had the shrimp sampler, I think it was called, three types of shrimp: the blackened shrimp he said was dry and rubbery and the rice underneath was dry to, the butterflied shrimp in a light tempura batter he said was good, but one of them still had the sand vein in it, but our lovely waitress brought him another 1/2 dozen; the third shrimp was deep fried and well not overcooked wasn't memorable. I had the not Joe's Mama Chicken: why chicken in a seafood restaurant, I'm allergic to shellfish, so that lets out shrimp, crab, lobster, so chicken it was. It sounded delightful, chicken breast topped with spinach mushrooms and cheese served with fresh vegetables ( green beans) and mashed potatoes. Whoever seasoned the food had a very heavy hand with the seasoning, lots of water to stop my burning mouth. I am not sure if the chicken dish was supposed to be swimming in a red oily substance, I finally put the green beans on a paper towel and blotted the grease off them and some of the seasoning, they were very good, crispy and fresh. Our waitress was attentive, bringing us extra water to drink, extra lemons for my husbands shrimp, and making note of my shrimp allergy so that they wouldn't grill my chicken on the same grill as the shrimp. All in all pleasant staff, but lousy food.

Fast, friendly service. Our server kept refills going and checked on us often. Quick check service as well. We had a nice view of the river from our table. Clam chowder was pretty good but light on the clams. Shrimp Platters were both pretty good. Some of the fried shrimp were over-cooked. Portion sizes were good. It was a nice lunch. Food was good but nothing was exceptional.

We haven't been to this location yet. We are here now, and it was pretty good. There are a lot of options for your seafood endeavors! You are eating in Branson, I will add that the sales taxes are steep. Just to let you all know.. most of Branson has steep tourist sales taxes included in the food and tourist stops. The strip and downtown is full of people, and is very touristy. You will have to park and walk to Joes. However, we got full and did enjoy the seafood dishes.. I suggest the Daddy King Crab selection. All in all, the shrimp platter was tasty.. my daughter enjoyed it. Be sure to tip your table staff.. enjoy your Branson trip!!

Classic Joe's Crab Shack - just like I remember from back in Cali! We had a great time as expected & food and drinks were yummy! Ambiance was awesome, giant Jaws is classic. Jadelynn was amazing, offering suggestions and tips on what to order. She definitely took care of us! Thanks JCS!

Joe's always has s good asstmt of seafood dishes; today we tried a veriety of shrimp styles - and they were all delicious! Sweet Tea & a couple of Mojitos rounded out our beverages, and then we were too full for dessert! Next time, we'll eat Key Lime Pie! Great service & great food; PERFECT!

Joe's Crab Shack is now added to one of my favorite restaurants list. I literally think about this day and it makes me want to take another trip to Branson. Everything we had was amazing. Everything was flavorful and was the right temperature. The hush puppies were the best I've had so far anywhere. The Atlantic Steam pot with Cajun seasoning was scrumptious. Not too spicy just right. The calamari was delicious as well, not over cooked nor chewy and the sauce was delicious. The coconut shrimp breading was not overly fried, it was very flavorful and even better with the dipping sauce. Our waitress Melva was great. She was supper attentive and cheery. Enjoyed having her as our server. The restaurant was nice, very clean and lots to see. Can't wait to stop by again.

Our visit today hit the seafood craving, but not the wallet-lol! We had the new Snow Crab Classic with Cajun sauce, the Glazed Salmon and two kids meals. The Salmon dish was flavorful, seasoned and glazed perfectly. Wish the Snow Crab would have had more Cajun seasoning and that the crab and egg felt more fresh. Coleen was awesome in taking care of us, we were seated close to open windows- fresh air felt nice for the lovely day! --baby changing station broken in women's restroom

Youngest wanted to go to SDC and then come here for his birthday. You can't compare this to restaurants along the ocean, but for being in the muddle of the country, it was good. My youngest and I got the East Coast platter. Those bacon wrapped, stuffed shrimp were the highlight of the platter. The stuffed crab (cran cakes) was really good for nowhere near the shoreline. The fish is nice and flaky and just enough batter to give it a crunch but not overtake the fish. Popcorn shrimp was meh, and the fries were just fries. My wife got coconut shrimp and loved them. She said the pineapple plum sauce was sweet, creamy, and oh so good. The oldest got chicken Alfredo and said it was very good. It waitress was on top of things from the get-go and made sure everything was always full. The place is crazy on a simmer night, but crazy is OK sometimes.

These were amazing! I did not care for the sauce they were paired with however, but they were fantastic on their own. The cornbread was good, but extremely crumbly. Hard to eat without it falling apart with each bite. Also the butter served with it was a necessity for me because without it these cornbread muffins were pretty dry. For my entree i ordered the fried catfish. This was HUGE and well worth the $19.99 IMO. I only was able to eat one fillet and the fries before i was stuffed. My wife got the large Ceaser salad and shared it with my son, and my daughter enjoyed an order of fries and the appetizers. They aren't big seafood people and I had promised them ice-cream afterwards if they agreed to come here. Service was great and the food was fast and fresh! Bottomline: The hype for White River Fish House is legit, and is a great stop if your looking for a good seafood option in the Branson Landing area. The view over the lake / river is gorgeous and the rustic wood sportsman cabin theme is a personal favorite of mine. Only change i would make is that I should have gotten the Walleye.

The old fashions were smooth! Went with vanilla and loved the subtle flavors. Everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was a delightful mix of old school pub/English castle. I will say that the pork belly po' boy was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life! I almost stayed in town longer on the second day just to order it again. The pork belly was smoky, tender, and sweet and paired so well with the grain mustard, pickled onions and arugula -- superb balance of flavors. My husband also noted the shrimp and grits was some of the best he's ever had. The shrimp and pork belly in the dish were perfectly cooked and the Cajun spices were well balanced. The irony of the first course is I always associate persimmons with Autumn but they were perfect in the arugula salad. I feel guilty about my seafood allergy usually requiring at least one substitution but what I was treated to instead of the octopus (which everyone else raved about) was the pistachio crusted lamb lollipops from the restaurant's main menu. Lamb, and green... what better expression of Spring? I would say that was the best lamb I have ever been served but it only displaced the last time I had it at Worman. The tortellini and striploin were scrumptious as well but the dessert tonight was over the top. Several of us commented that we'd never be satisfied with plain ol' strawberry shortcake again. I've tried myself to put an Italian spin on this summertime staple before by macerating the sliced, sweetened berries in balsamic then whipping flecks of minced basil into the cream. Like a caprese salad, the resulting green, white, and red are an homage to their flag. But the inclusion of limoncello was absolutely inspired! Service, as always, was in a league all its own. But I was especially aware this dinner of the artistry of whatever small army of platers there must be hidden back in the kitchen. Whether it's a more intimate wine dinner in the library or we take over the restaurant proper like at Celebration of Tastes, every course comes out looking as consistently beautiful up and down the table. Growing up in a family of 4 kids, Food FOMO was a real thing. My poor mother had to keep track of whose turn it was to get the coveted dab of bacon in a can of pork & beans or sliver of cherry in fruit cocktail. No one leaves Worman House feeling shortchanged.

My husband ordered the Worman's Manhattan. He really enjoyed the current infused rye whiskey in it. It added a very unique flavor to the drink. We were brought a complimentary chef's taste of a goat cheese on a small bagette and small glass of sparkling wine. My husband ordered the seafood pot pie and I had the French onion soup and winter spice cranberry salad. The soup was very good and flavorful but the salad was average and definitely not worth the price. My husband enjoyed the seafood pot pie. It was a very generous serving . He shared some with me. It was very rich and creamy. I didn't particularly like the mussels and clams still in their shells inside the" pie" however the pot pie is just pastry crust over a cast iron pan with the creamed sea food. After the meal we were given some stale macaroons with filling that tasted like frosting. There was No acknowledgement of my friend's birthday. We decided to walk down to see Harry's cocktail bar downstairs before calling our shuttle. The manager came into the bar in a bit of a hurried frenzy as we were walking out and asked if it was someone's birthday. We pointed to our friend and he told her happy birthday and then left?!?!
