BEWARE! We recently ate here for breakfast and the waitress double charged our credit card. When we tried to rectify it by phone, the female manager became very hostile and condescending. She first refused to discuss it and then was exceptionally rude and told me that I had to bring in the receipt. I told her i am back in Massachusetts and she then told be there was nothing she could do!. I will dispute it with my credit card, but it is the point of it. I am sure it was not an error based on the questionable characters that work there. I suggest if you eat here to be careful or just pay cash! read more

Mostly Ordinary! Between the two of us we had combinations that included sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, poached eggs, French toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, grits, coffee, and iced tea. The tea and coffee were good, as were the potatoes and eggs. The French toast was traditional, but very good. The bacon, sausage, and gravy were flavorless. The biscuit was leaden and tasteless, just horrible. The grits were excellent. Most of the food was slightly under seasoned. Adding salt and pepper helped, but not much. Went for breakfast today. Had burned blintzes that they served with the burned side down, cold left over bacon and so so scrambled eggs. The service was average at best. The server forget one item and when I asked for what I ordered looked like she was confused. The drive thru at Micket D is a better option or the drive thru at Dunkin. What a joke. Let me start by saying that the service was fast, friendly and courteous. I read some of the other reviews, and was a little worried to bring the kids. I can deal, but I don't want my kids treated badly, and that was not the case. It could be that we were there on a Monday, but everyone was great, from the waitress to the busboy. Now to the food, I had the bltce which was the bacon, lettuce, tomato with two eggs and cheese on toasted multigrain bread. It was so good, with each ingredient standing out on it's own. The bread was crispy and buttered, with the bacon a smokey delight, and eggs tasted farm fresh. Our only problem was choosing what to eat! This place is a good bet, enjoy breakfast here! read more

If you want to be treated like you are invisible, and want crappy service, this is the restaurant for you. We waited for what seemed like 10 minutes for the waitress (I wish I actually had timed it). The waitress behind the counter saw we were waiting for someone, anyone, and then we continued to be treated as if we were not at the table. Then I saw two waitresses having a long conversation, but they could not see me because I was invisible. Then another couple walked in, and received immediate service. Eventually the waitress conversation ended, someone walked over, and said someone would be by, and two minutes later the waitress walked over. She may have been upset because we apparently interrupted her conversation. Another customer came in, sat at the next table for some time, then said to us "I must be invisible". All I could say to him was "welcome to my world". As for the meal, either the waitress did not write down our requests, or the cook simply did not care. We finished and left. There was no one there to complain to other than the three waitresses and the guy who holds up the sign "Eat at Joes". Unfortunately we will not be going back, which is a shame because they used to be very good. read more

All I can say is wow. From the moment we got to the door we were greeted like it was our own house. We were serviced immediately. The attention was above and beyond. There was one server named Oscar who blew us away with his service. He helped us out making choices on the menu...he made sure we felt comfortable and welcome since we stepped through the door. The way they prepare and display the food is done with so much love and care....it just blew me away. Love the little american flags they put on each of the plates. The 1950s diner vibe was so cute. The flavors were all there so delicious....the textures were perfect. Defenetly a beautiful memory i will take from visiting naples and defenetly i will be back next time i visit naples. This one won my heart! After having had a negative experience in the hotel where we stayed for the last two days of 2019, and deciding to head home the 1st of the year, we passed by a cute little restaurant right on the corner, but attractive enough that caught our attention and made us make a U-turn and come back to check it out. The minute we sat at a table outside, with no wait, the waiter offered us coffee, iI my brought it with creams, flavored half and halves, surf at and water with lemon! She was a busy bee just like we observed in the rest of the personnel. Beautiful attitude and smile to have on a January 1st. We ordered our breakfast, which took the normal time it would take when you are preparing fresh dishes and home-cooked-on the spot meal. The fruits were fresh and nicely cut in perfect pieces, the coffee mug was always refilled upon checking with me, the water cut was always filled instantly. The entire order was made to perfection, the French toast, the toasts, the eggs. And the freshly squeezed small orange juice I ordered was a perfect size. Joe's is now our place to go in Naples, FL. this place was solid. filled with locals (mostly elderly people) you can tell almost everyone was a regular. the staff was friendly and worked seamlessly moving around the tight restaurant to get to everyone. I had the best patty melt I've ever had in my life (I substituted the rye for sourdough and it was a wise choice). my husbands roast beef sandwich looked perfect and by how quickly he inhaled it he must've loved it. we didn't stick around for dessert because we were eager to check into our hotel. but we really wanted to make it back for breakfast, it looked soooo good!. read more

What a great find! We were just driving by looking for a place to eat near Marcato and happened upon Joe's. As other reviewers had noted most of the people here were locals, always a good sign. I had the crispy French toast and my wife had the Cesar salad with fish both were delicious. It turns out the fish was Swai, Cooked perfectly. Wait staff was friendly. This is a pretty decent spot for breakfast. There are a ton of items on the menu. My husband raved about the coffee. The food was pretty decent, a tad on the greasy side. The food and service by our waitress was very good! In the middle of our lunch, the Manager started yelling and screaming at the staff berating them while he gathered them in the back room. Unfortunately for us and other guests, we heard the whole thing (loudly). It was very difficult to listen to and my wife and I were not sure why the staff deals with this poor leadership. While on vacation in Florida we took a little day trip away from Ft. Myers Beach and found this fantastic little diner. Now we finally know where we can get a good breakfast down there! The homemade biscuits and gravy were excellent and our daughter loved the happy face pancake, complete with little cocktail umbrella. In town and needed a good brunch place on a Sunday morning. So glad we picked this place. There was a wait, due to the small venue and the place just buzzing with people, but it was worth it. The have a great brunch/breakfast selection, definitely above par for diner style food (specifically the bacon - not greasy, thick-cut, big portion). Only thing I would say is that it is a small, tight space - so big groups or groups with a few small children may have a hard time with seating when it's busy. read more
