Our server, Anthony, was absolutely amazing. I'm super picky, and a lot of the photos I saw on Yelp that convinced me to come in weren't actually on the menu anymore, which was frustrating but Anthony was so patient and helpful. He answered all our questions and made sure everything was done right. Honestly, if it weren't for him, we probably would've left. The cheeseburger was phenomenal so delicious. I loved having the option of a side salad instead of fries to keep it a bit healthier. My boyfriend's steak, though, was kind of dry not the best. Had not been to Hampton social in a while. Now I remember why. We came today for the brussel sprouts and the crab and avocado appetizer. As always the brussel sprouts did not disappoint, however the crab and avocado dip was an absolute rip off. There was about a 1/8 of an inch of crab on top of avocado and pineapple (I think) the portions were too small to actually taste and confirm what it was. The taro chips were tasty. They should be embarrassed to serve this and try to title it crab anything when there is essentially ZERO crab. I will also comment on the entertainment which is the exact same lady they had the last time. Her voice and music style is irritating. She is completely off key and the fact that they choose to ignore this is also a bit offensive. I would just prefer to listen to some background music. One of the meatiest lobster rolls I've had outside of Maine. We got the lobster roll and crab roll, both hot Manhattan style and they did not disappoint. I was there about a week ago and came back for the spicy vodka pasta it's my absolute favorite. I think my server was in training as there were two servers for three people but they killed it nonetheless. They were very personable and attentive. I'm so sad that my phone died before any of my food came! It's sizzle month and I was in Mercado for an event so me and my new friend ventured over to Hampton social for a bite to eat! It was later so we were one of maybe 5 or so tables in the restaurant. We sat in the bar area and Danny took care of us! Let me tell you want to visit Danny! He was fun and personable, great bartender/server. I needed to try the sizzle menu so I started off with bang bang chicken, which came with bang bang sauce and bbq sauce. I really like the bbq sauce and the nice breading on the chicken. For my entree I had the smash burger (plain of course) which came with chips! They were so good! I only was able to eat half but even the next day the chips and burger were still good! For dessert I had the donuts which came with ice cream, I wish I wasn't as full as I was then so I could have enjoyed more together but I did take home any left over donuts and the air fryer did the trick! Hampton Social offers a beautiful atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food. Unfortunately, what they also do is decide for you how much you will tip. Upon being seated, they clearly inform you they add an 18% gratuity to the bill, and I am told they also have signs when you enter the restaurant although I am not accustomed to looking for posted policies when I walk into a business. At this point I wasn't about to spoil my family dinner to celebrate my daughter going off to college the next day. Everything we ate was great, and the waiter very attentive. But I have a serious problem with any food establishment pre-defining the tip for me, which, in the event (although I think here it would be unlikely) I didn't have a great experience then I would need to have an awkward interaction with the server to see if the tip could be removed or modified. Their policy is actually in my benefit as I typically tip 20% of the total before taxes meaning their policy saved me money; but this is about right and wrong. Take away the automatically added gratuity and this would be a five star. It's a shame they don't have confidence in the product they offer that people are going to tip. I won't be back, but I have no doubt they will do just fine without my business. If you don't mind them telling you how much to tip you will likely have a very positive experience here. read more

It really pains me to write a disappointing review for one of my favorite spots but last couple of dining experiences fell short of the usual standards that we grew to love at Hampton Social. While the food is still pretty good there have been disappointing instances like a hair in one of the dishes and overly salty breakfast sandwich... The service hasn't been as friendly and accommodating lately either. From the hostess telling us there's a wait for a table when 2/3 of the restaurant is empty to the waiters not knowing their own menu well enough and overcharging us it's just been "off". I really hope they can get it together and find their way back to the great restaurant I used to love. read more

The ambience and decoration of the restaurant is beautiful and very nice. The waiter was great. The food was terrible. My wife ordered the truffle lobster melt, and bisque. The sandwich lacked hardly any meat. It was 85% sourdough bread. I ordered a double Wagyu hamburger, which tasted good but was small. It came with the most greasy potato chips I've ever seen in my life. And I had one cup of coffee, which was good. The entire bill was over $75. Service the night we were there was excellent. Since it was New Year's weekend there were many multigenerational families present. The "music" was so loud I could not hear my husband nor our server. I complained to the front desk that we would be leaving unless the noise was toned down. "Our boss likes it that way but we will try." It was very slightly tamped down but still very unpleasant. Food was average and, in my view, overpriced. We will not be returning and would advise anyone who would like to carry on a conversation not to go there. His bloody mary was very good but pricey so he only had 1. All in all this is a very nice place interior-wise & service was good. My friend hosted a baby shower for 9 adults and 7 children with reservations made weeks in advance for a Sunday brunch. She came 15 mins before the reservation time of 11am to decorate the table, and noticed that the management thought we were skinny adults and tried to squeeze 9 adults onto a 6 top table. She asked for an extra table or perhaps the large wooden family table and was rudely denied many times as if she's hard of hearing. When the guest of honor and I arrived, it was so obvious that we were not going to be able to fit. Somehow, it took 4 different conversations with various servers/managers before they were willing to pull an additional table from the storage area. Meanwhile, it has been 15 minutes while we are still standing around since we couldn't possibly fit. The rationale we received from management was that they were expecting 300 people. The service took sooooo long - 2.5-3 hours that we literally saw that the place was half full the entire time. Be prepared to essentially "work here" and move the tables, chairs, table settings, pour your own water, etc. Also have tons of patience and allocate alot of time to dine here with a larger group and check your orders. Be sure to inform them how you wish to time your food. Our food came in waves! Children's meals first, which I don't mind. I ordered a beet salad and add crab cake as my protein. But the server put the order in as if crab cakes was my appetizer and then beet salad was my "main course". Technically they are kind both appetizers and I would have liked to enjoy both at the same time. Half the table got their entrees before the other half. So 4-5 waves of food. Treat it as a "tapas" bar concept! I really enjoyed my beet salad. The crab cakes could have been served to a hotter temperature. Desserts were great with the freshly fried donuts and vanilla gelato. My fav was the tres leche pound cake with lavender cream and strawberries. The management and service simply was awful today and completely sucked the enjoyment and relaxation of dining out. Let's talk Truffle Mushroom Pizza, because oh my word. This was the star. Crispy crust - with amazing chew, earthy mushrooms, and enough truffle to make you briefly consider liquidating your 401k to fund a weekly habit. A perfect 10. To die for. Honestly, this pizza is doing the Lord's work. And then... the Short Rib. Sigh. If the pizza was Beyoncé, this was the opening act you politely clap for before sneaking to the bar. The meat was fine, but the polenta? A dense, too-rich brick that desperately needed a little love and, frankly, a splash of jus to save it from itself. Instead of a creamy canvas, it felt like a carb hostage situation. A solid 6, but only because short ribs are nearly impossible to mess up entirely. Service? Pleasant and efficient, though not the kind that leaves you wanting to hug your server goodbye. They got the job done, which is perfectly respectable. The live guitarist, however, deserves a record deal--mellow, charming, and exactly the right vibe. Oh, and the bathroom? Spotless and well-appointed. Ladies, you know what I mean: the kind of restroom where you don't regret setting your purse down for a second. Final take: Go for the pizza, stay for the vibes, and maybe skip the short rib unless you've lost a bet. The Hampton Social nails atmosphere and has at least one dish worth writing home about. I've been in Naples for 40 years and spent years waiting tables myself. I know the industry, and I'm breaking the "taboo" on this place because someone has to. It is astonishing that you don't see more negative reviews about their billing tactics, but I'm calling it out. The food was mediocre at best, but the service attitude was the real deal-breaker. They automatically slapped a 18% "Service Charge" on our party of four. When the bill came, the server had the nerve to tell us we should add even more because "we have to pay the busboy." Using the support staff as a guilt trip to squeeze a double-tip out of patrons on top of a mandatory fee is a disgraceful, low-class hustle. In a real restaurant, a server earns their tip and tips out their own staff. Here, they've replaced hospitality with a high-pressure sales pitch. This exact behavior is why Florida's new transparency law is going into effect this July. The state is finally cracking down on these deceptive "Operations Charges" because restaurants like this refuse to be honest with their patrons. I honestly don't know how a place expects to make it in Naples long-term by treating locals like ATMs. If you want a good meal without being gouged or guilt-tripped, go elsewhere. I won't be back, and I won't be recommending it to anyone. read more

I sat on the outdoor patio and thoroughly enjoyed people watching, the soft breeze and much to my surprise there was live entertainment which lended to the perfect experience. The food and beverages were exceptional, as was the service. Trey/Thomas was my server. He was attentive, thorough in questioning my preferences & provided honest feedback. I particularly appreciated his making eye contact when he spoke and his attention to detail to ensure I had the best dining experience. While visiting Naples, we stopped by The Hampton Social for a quick drink/ lunch. Very cute restaurant, like many of the other locations. We arrived around 4pm, which is their happy hour (3-6pm daily). We ordered the Buffalo cauliflower and smash burger. The cauliflower tasted great; crunchy like boneless wings, sitting on top of ranch and a spread of blue cheese crumples (I love sauce, so this worked great for me). My friend had the smash burger, which looked really good; however, it does not come with a side or toppings (ordered separately). The service was good and timely. We arrived right at the end of the live music, on a Saturday. Overall, the ambiance is the best thing about this restaurant. Our night at the Hampton Social was perfect. We did have a reservation, arrived slightly early and they were able to take us directly to our seats. The place was definitely busy, but we never felt neglected or rushed in our meal. We each got a different drink and they were all awesome. I can't even say which one was best, so I would recommend getting a few favorites and having a table taste test. As much as I want to get the same ones again, I'm not sure that is smart considering how good they all were. I love love love the beet salad. First, it's huge. I thought it would be a little 'starter' salad, but I was totally wrong. If you love beets, you should get it - it's not often there is an excellent beet salad. But, maybe you should split it with a friend, because it's just that big. As for my meal, I'm in love with the Pot Roast, but the pasta dish looked so good.
