My fiancée and I stopped by after a hard swim day at the castaic lake for our triathlon preparation for a quick bite. We both ordered falafel wraps which were excellent. The falafels were soft and flavorful. I realize most places I've been to overcook their falafels to the point of being too dry at times, the falafels here were at a perfect crisp on the outside yet moist on the inside. The staff were extremely respectful and kind. A gentleman actually handed the entire store free samples of their falafels prior to us getting our good which was a nice sneak peak into what we were going to have. Also just happy for the kindness later when he later provided freshly cut fruit to the patrons. The environment was nice and not too crowded but with plenty of seats for larger groups. It was nice to see the World Cup on the TV (Qatar vs Switzerland), ended in a tie. Also bathroom were really clean too! I liked how you could choose between fountain drinks or can based on your preference. Some of the best falafel I've had in Los Angeles. We tried both the falafel lafa wrap and a plate with half chicken shawarma and half lemon chicken. The lafa bread is hands down the best I've ever had. Thin but still very soft and fluffy. The hummus that comes with the plate was incredibly smooth and delicious as well. I'm glad I was able to try both the shawarma and the lemon chicken because while they're both very tasty the lemon chicken was by far the better of the two for the plate. Juicy, well charred, and incredibly flavorful. The shawarma was on the drier side but would have made a great sandwich or wrap. I can't wait to return and try more. This is a great spot for an affordable and delicious meal. We will definitely be back whenever we're looking for a bite before or after a movie at CityWalk. read more

She really found such a great place! I rarely eat falafels because they're generally too dry or hard, but I'm so happy I tried it at this namesake restaurant. The lafa, which the employees associated with lavash, looks like pita, but it's really just a softer and fluffier flatbread, was made in-house. It is such a delightfully chewy bread. Such a hefty wrap of chicken shawarma, hummus, lettuce, tomato and tahini sauce and I astonishingly finished the whole thing. * Falafel ($1) - this deep fried ball arrived in a dark golden exterior and one bite revealed a perfectly crispy/crunchy, yet fluffy, herbaceously nutty-flavored and dare I say slightly moist interior. Wait, I'm hooked! I knew instantly I wanted more of this high-quality falafel! Ordered to go because it was that good: Shawarma Plate ($18.95) - must sub the pita for lafa ($1.50). My wife decided order the falafel plate and I order the Chicken kabobs plate and comes with two pita bread. It took about minutes because everything is made fresh and made to order and fresh to your table. They brought our meal to our table the food looks mouth-watering delicious I took a bite of the chicken kabobs the meat was so tender and juicy and cook perfect and they marinate the chicken with spices and other ingredients they make the chicken perfect. The plate come with salad very good it have a vinaigrette dressing in the salad. The yellow rice another great side full of flavor so good and the hummus incredible good good I enjoy a good freshly hummus on my plate it add flavors to the meal. I got their special buy one get one free Gyro plate and I called Eli the manager to ask him juicy which he accommodated me turned out really good! Decent food but like someone else mentioned, they get weird about dining-in closer to closing time. I was there with about 45 minutes left and planned to have a quick bite indoors and leave. I even told them that. The Hispanic manager/employee said is outdoor seating or to go okay? They just cleaned the floors. So what? I didn't walk in 5 mins before closing. I could have eaten indoors for 15 minutes, left, and I would not have made a mess. Why sway people to eat elsewhere if you're still open. I'm not alone in saying that this isn't a good look or experience. Handle your cleaning/shutdown duties much closer to closing time or after. It matters. read more

They bake it inside the restaurant alongside their pita which is the fluffiest thickest pita I've ever had. The chicken shawarma, beef kabob, and beef shish-kabob were our favorite meats. The rice, and hummus were also very good. The only thing we didn't care for much was the chicken kabob.
