What a great addition to the Noho Shopping Center. The ingredients are really fresh, and you can taste the difference in every bite. I especially loved the falafel--it was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft inside, and it actually felt light and healthy (I wouldn't be surprised if it's air-fried). The setup is super easy and customizable--you order at the counter and build your bowl just like you would at Subway or Chipotle, choosing your base, protein, and all the toppings you want. It makes it really easy to eat clean without sacrificing flavor. The staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful -- Shoutout to Christopher, who was incredibly helpful and friendly and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you're looking for something fresh, healthy, and satisfying in North Hollywood! And for anyone who complained about the prices, I have to say I found the prices totally reasonable for high-quality, healthily prepared CLEAN food and great service. This was my second time at this Noho plaza for the movies and the first time we saw a good selection of restaurants so this time we decided to just go find a spot and Chick me out was it! The manager came and welcomed us and pointed out all the natural, organic and healthy options on the menu. We chose two different bowls and were impressed with the quality and portions. Hilariously overpriced for a place where I have to stand to order my food on the line. Make your own bowls with animal protein are $20+. I have eaten here twice and my experiences ranges from underwhelming to disappointing. $37 lunchtime mistake. Crazy to charge so much for dry steak cubes on mixed greens! Hummus and tzatziki are treated as "sides", not sauces/toppings so you have to pay extra if you want them but they don't come with your bowl (by the way the price above did not include these sides but did include a drink) Young person behind the counter was rude and impatient. It's so nice to find another healthy spot in Noho! Even the menu has reminders of how certain bowls can fuel you after a workout and fun tips like that. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Marilyn was our host. She was exceptional. She was pleasant, attentive and extremely helpful. She was patient as we took the time to figure out what we want. She answered all our questions, too. Also, at check out, we accidentally left a drink we purchased on the counter. She ran and caught up to us 5 doors down to make sure we didn't leave it behind. She was the sweetest! We got to sample the soups. YUM! I will definitely be getting a bowl of the chicken soup next time. It was very flavorful, as was the lentil soup. Our bowls were delicious too. This is a newly opened restaurant in Noho West. I had lunch here after a day of shopping. The place is very clean and staff is friendly. Ordering is quite simple. Since I'd never been there, the staff and even the GM were able to offer spot-on recommendations that really helped elevate my bowl. The portion size was incredibly generous. Just tried Chick Me Out and I'm seriously impressed. It's a Mediterranean grilled concept similar to Chipotle, but the quality is on another level. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. My favorites were the perfectly grilled peppers, the super fresh hummus, and the wide variety of Mediterranean toppings--so many great combinations. As much as I wanted to try the chicken, I was more in the mood for salmon so I built my own salmon bowl. There are few vegetables that I enjoy, so I can't speak to the greens or other veggies, but the salmon was a good portion and I really enjoyed how it was seasoned. Maybe slightly dry, but it was takeout and I had to carry it for about 15 minutes before I could partake. The brown rice and baby potatoes were also very flavorful. I tried the lemon herb sauce, and it was tasty but I'm glad I got it on the side as a dipping sauce, because it would have been overpowering otherwise.
