They are indeed closed Sunday and Monday, and do not open until 11 am on the other days, but they are open till 10 at night. We stumbled onto this place by accident on Taco Tuesday. Tacos are 20% off. An inspired creation is their toasted tacos. 50¢ more, but with it. Picture mozzarella cheese on the grill, throw a corn tortilla down and fill it. Really good flavor. It seems they also focus on good food preparation. Their Horchata is made from scratch, and then put directly into canning jars. They self seal, and are then put on ice, so it was cold and very fresh. I think they were five dollars each, which seems a little high, but you get to keep the canning jar. Access is just a little bit difficult as there is a median strip along 75th Ave., and when you leave it is difficult to go south or west because of grand Avenue. I have seen this place all the time set up off of Grand and always saw it busy and poppin' so last night I finally stopped by to try. They take cash, card, and ApplePay which is awesome. I ordered 3 items from their menu. 1 vampiro de pastor, 1carne asada taco, and 1 toasted taco de cabeza. It came out to about 6.66 for my tacos. They were good sizes. The flavors were delicious. I loved all 3 of them. The meats were cooked really well and the flavors bursted in my mouth and I was in heaven eating in my car. I really enjoyed the toasted taco. It was different than what I am use to and it worked really well. The vampiro was different as well as its an open tostada taco, but it was really good. They also have agua frescas, but I didnt get one this time so I cant speak on those, but they looked really refreshing and they come in a big mason jar. This spot was really good, I had to tacos de asada with corn tortillas and a toasted green Chile and cheese tamale, my boyfriend had one keto and two tacos asada. We noticed the meat was very dry and hard to chew. Regardless of that it was still great food. The service was also great! I'm a big taco fan being raised in Tijuana .After hearing so much hype about this place it was extremely disappointing . I had tacos de asada and al pastor with a quesadilla con carne asada. The lack of salsa was surprising to say the least, only red salsa and avocado salsa which did not offer any spice to an otherwise lackluster experience . How are you not going to have green salsa ?! The only positive thing I can say is that the Jamaica in the mason jar was fresh,delicious and super cold, good job on that. The carne asada meat was was bland, lacked seasoning and was sorta dry. The pastor meat did not have that juicy moist tenderness that you are used to when having this sort of taco meat especially when the tortilla was mediocre , lacking originality of fresh Mexican quality and was missing the meat juice usually slapped on before being served to add to the experience and flavor . My bottled coke was pulled out of the cooler but was warm when opened and eventually lost all of the cool temperature it was destined to be at its full potential. Lastly the smell of cow pie does not add to a pleasant eating experience and the immense amount of mosquitos flying around and biting you while you try to enjoy a meal is not what you wish to have when you are trying to enjoy their food... not a place I would be willing to return unless I feel like having some of their aguas frescas . Good tacos. Tortillas are made by hand and they are really good. The only negative is that the meat could have been cut into smaller pieces and they could have had more variety of salsas. I would definitely recommend trying the Horchata. read more

This taco truck is tucked away in the coolest spot- we visited for our first time last night. We absolutely love tacos and try them all over the valley so let me tell you that these were seriously the best tacos I've had yet! It has been weeks we have been trying to get some tacos and drive up but they aren't there. Hopefully they found a better spot but am sad they are gone.
