Garlic knots are honestly some of the best I've ever had. They do not come with marinara so if you want that, order a side. You can tell it's fresh sourdough like the menu says and really fresh. Oh, and salads- three kinds. I opted for the grilled chicken, and there was ample protein and the portion was large. Priced at $9, the produce was super fresh, and there was a choice of three dressings. The house blue cheese tasted like a low-priced bulk-jar generic, but it was certainly one of the larger, fresher salads I've had at a run-down pizza joint. Service was friendly and fast. Ordered from here over the weekend with a friend. And let me just say I won't be going back. Got a medium pizza, sausage and peperoni, and some wings (15). Came out to be about 27$. When I arrived to pick up the food the place was smoking like they were cooking in old grease. The pizza was like cafeteria pizza in middle school. And the wings weren't the worst. I've been to this place a couple times, I really enjoy their wings especially the hot ones + the bbq ones :) I like how huge their fries are but they get so soggy the way they box them up, you gotta keep them open or else all the heat will trap inside :/ I think the prices are good for this place (e.g: 15 wings for 14.99) Honestly it's best to call ahead because that place is so small and hot so if you have no patience then just do that it saves a lot of waiting time! They say about 15 mins when you order but obviously it takes a little bit longer since it's fresh which is great but I noticed my wings had a lot of pink pieces in them. The staff not only remembers my home and address but is friendly. Bottom line, when I order pizza I expect a good hot pie delivered to my home in a reasonable amount of time. While the food was pretty decent, I have to review this place strictly on customer service. I called in an order for pickup at 3:18 PM and was told that the pizza and salad would be ready in 20 minutes, meaning 3:38 PM. Since I was in the area of my place where I buy Michelada mix, I decided I would go there first and pick one up. I arrived at Joey's at about 3:45 PM and was greeted by the worker who was ringing up another customer. I said I was there to pick up a call in order and I provided my name. He said just a minute. At about 3:50 PM, a woman entered the building and went back to the kitchen and began putting together a pizza. I quickly noticed that the pizza was the exact one that I had ordered at 3:18 over the phone. She slowly measured out the products using a scale making the wait even longer. I made a comment that I had called that order in 30 minutes ago and that if I wanted to wait in the store to cook, I would have ordered it when I got there. At that point, the male worker yelled from the back, "It's coming out soon, shut up!" The audacity of this worker to tell a customer to shut up when the customer is pointing out terrible business practices floored me. The fact is, this place deserves no business from me or anyone if they are going to treat their customers with that amount of disrespect. Plus $37 for a large pizza and a salad is outrageous. Always on the lookout for a great new pizza shop, we were hoping we had found it with Joey's Pizza in Summerlin. Had been wanting to try them out for a while, but could not seem to get on the same page as they have odd hours of operation. Ordered a classic cheese pizza, wings and homemade cheesecake. The pizza sauce had a great flavor, not overly acidic and crust was good. That unfortunately is where the positive experience ended. Biting in to the wings (ordered extra crispy) found me eating undercooked chicken, never a fun discovery! We snagged the last slice of homemade cheesecake and after trying it, were surprised it sells out. It was super dry and grainy and fell apart as we ate it. Sadly it went in the trash with the chicken wings. Giving a 3 star review in light of the chicken and cheesecake because of the friendly staff and decent pizza, however we won't be returning for a followup visit. The order taken over the phone and had to repeat my name 4 times and spell it my name has 5 letters " B...r...e...n...t" I ordered a pepperoni with extra tomato sauce. Their pizza sauce is unbelievably delicious! After all the corrections over the phone to order just 1 item the cashier upon arrival to pick up the pizza asks for a tip for a to go pizza. She states... you got the pepperoni with the extra sauce right? I said yes paid the cashier. Drove home opened the box. Sadly there was no extra pizza sauce... in fact the edges had no sauce.
