Took my family here for dinner last evening. I had heard many people say how much they like the service and food. We were not disappointed. The Service was AWESOME! Very Attentive, knowledgeable about their food. The food came out pretty quick, hot and, oh so delicious! By far the best experience we had in a restaurant in this area. Other than some local pizza places this is your best option for Italian cuisine. The food here isn't bad. I've had some issues with wait times in the past but they seemed to have solved that problem. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. It's a great place for kids too. Monday night are family night. Family platters are half off. A great way to have a low cost meal out. read more

My wife wanted a night out and we landed here. On Mondays we discovered that they offer their family meals on the menu at half price so I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with plenty to take home for later. The pasta was excellent. She ordered the beef pot pie and liked it but was disappointed that it wasn't more of a traditional dish. Still there were no real complaints. Had never heard of this place, but stopped after a trip to hobby lobby next door. We were seated in a booth in the bar. Great atmosphere and the server greeted us right away. . Was brought a mini loaf of warm bread with garlic infused dipping oil, delicious! We had the 16 layer lasagna and the three meat pizza. Both were very good and the order came out quickly. I utterly enjoyed my visit to Carino's last night. I felt like i was at the Olive without there being two hundred people being there. SERVICE Our waitress at Carino's was fantastic. She refilled my water whenever it was empty without being asked. I normally drink alot of water whenever i go out to eat. it is one of my pet peeves to have to sit there and wait on a refill. The food wasn't super fast but she can't control how fast the cooks work. SETTING I think the size of Carino's restaurant is fantastic because it is Olive Garden without the hustle and bustle. There is an outside patio if you are lucky enough to go on a day when its not rainy or windy. TV's are easily view able. I always like that since i want to watch whatever game is on. ENTREE I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad it was definitely good. Don't mistake the fact that it was good for there being a reasonable amount of chicken on the salad. I am a big dude who is trying to eat healthy and i require double the amount of chicken I got. PRICE My girlfriend and I went together and it ended up being around twenty dollars for our entire meal. That is completely reasonable regardless if I was still hungry after we went there. SEATING Lets call a spade a spade. I am a big fat guy and sometimes the seating for me is a little snug around the mid section. At Cornios i had plenty of room to maneuver. They are for sure fat friendly. I worked here for nearly a year as a waitress, and can attest to the clean and warm environment, as well as the delicious food! The cooks here are some of the best around and work very hard at making each plate especially delicious. Lunch with friends Sunday December 9, 2018. Several minutes after orders were placed the server returned to say they were "out" of angel hair pasta! (I had ordered angel hair with artichokes - a regular menu item). OK, I agreed to substitute spaghetti. Several minutes later the server returned to say they were out of spaghetti! I agreed to substitute with bow ties. Should have cancelled the order at this time. Order arrives - huge bowl of dry bow ties with tiny chopped black olives, sufficient capers and a mass of onion. Not an artichoke in sight! Meanwhile the person sitting next to me was asked if she would substitute the spaghetti in her order with angel hair pasta! My husband & I really enjoy Carino's. The food is really good, the portions are HUGE & the service is fabulous. Today, we ordered the Mozarella Sticks appetizer & the Sausage Skillitini to share. The portions are so big that we still had leftovers to bring home, even after we both ate some. The bread with olive oil is delicious. Unfortunately their alfredo sauce was flavorless and straight liquid which is honestly unusual for them, and they mismade part of my meal forgetting chicken, but the reason for the 1 star was after returning it , and asking for the check they still charged me full price for the returned meal i took 2 bites out of. Tried to offer me a desert but offered no discount on the meal so i basically paid full meal price for a side salad that came with the meal. Im pretty upset and ill probably never return. read more

If you're thinking this is going to be something similar to Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill it's absolutely NOT! The food is nowhere near as good and it's quite expensive for such mediocre food. Particularly the bread and olive oil burnt garlic was nothing to brag about. They made an attempt to copy the iceberg wedge salad that high end restaurants offer but the toppings and dressing clash rather than compliment each other making it barely edible. Then, the calamari was over cooked, chewy, and over seasoned. Entrees were nothing special. The one pro to this place was the service, the hostess, and our waitress. It's a chain so it should be treated as such. Every time I have gone in, the service has been very good. My biggest problem is the PRICES. The food tastes just like your heat and service Olive Garden, however at Olive Garden I pay cheaper prices, and get salad and breadsticks. You get ripped off beyond belief here. Close to $15 for noodles and alfredo? You guys are nuts. I'll take the time to drive 20 minutes to go to Olive Garden. Also, their roof caved in a while back and thankfully while no one was inside. This is our third visit and had it been our first we would not return. We were seated and then waited 15 minutes for any acknowledgment while two other tables were seated and offered drink orders. Had to flag the waiter down who said sorry he was busy with drink orders. Same guy that was tending to a table of six after we were seated. Ordered wine. After waiting....Brought wrong bottle. Got correct one. It didn't even sound the same... Erath not Rascal. More waiting. Main course. My pizza arrives. Husband's mac and cheese? Told "Your order got lost." Really. Great staff! A girlfriend and I were having pasta and cheese cravings, and decided to go there for lunch. Being in a rush, I decided to call ahead to see if they could start working on our order before we got there. Not only were they willing to do it, when we arrived it was ready to go at a table. Wife and I went here for a late Saturday lunch (1pm) last weekend. Nice place inside, but it is still new. One measure of a restaurant is how they maintain their restrooms. Theirs were relatively clean but didn't look like they had been checked in while (wastebasket full) and water on floor. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the eggplant parmesan and chicken marsala. Was surprised that lunch did not come with salad or soup as Olive Garden does, yet price was comparable. Bread was good and better than OG with a wonderful roasted garlic and olive oil dip. Portion size was on the small size for the marsala with very little pasta. Wife's eggplant meal was larger. Sauces were tasty and adequate relative to the pasta. Overall, I would rate Carino's a step below Olive Garden for value. We do not plan on going again. read more

We have found the service here to always be attentive and reasonably quick. Servers very nice; even the one host who thinks he needs to give you his life story and all but invite himself into your group. Food is generally very good, but we have noticed some consistency issues over the last couple of years. Not quality issues, but variances in how things were prepared. Makes things interesting at times. Pricing is reasonable on most items. "Bar food" menu has some gems in it, at very good prices. Fortunately, those items can be ordered in restaurant area as well. (Full menu is also available in bar.) Restaurant is generally kept pretty clean in all areas. Better job of wiping off tables and seats would be beneficial. Some tables do seem to be left with dirty plates a bit too long, at times. Parking is in mall parking lot and generally has plenty available. On rare occasions, the mall users will take up available spaces, but it is seldom. (There is a basketball tournament that takes place in the mall parking lots once a year...that will almost eliminate any hope of parking at the restaurant.) Overall, better than Olive Garden, and has comparable pricing. Staff will definitely attempt to make (seldom) problems go away. Recommend joining their "club" if you visit even occasionally. read more

First time visitors. We happened in on Monday which is half price "family meal" day. One option for that was penne pasta in Gorgonzola white sauce with chicken and mushrooms. The flavors were good, the price (at 50%) was very good. We were served a mini-baguette with a plate of toasted garlic, etc. in olive oil. The bread had an uninteresting character and was a little under-cooked, but edible. The oil was very garlicky. Service was very fast. Almost too fast: Made us feel that they had a big pot of what we ordered just sitting there waiting. Though if so, they do it well. We had a perfectly acceptable sangria (my wife liked it a lot, me not quite so much). Very expensive, I thought. Our waiter was polite and helpful, but (almost surely from company policy) he did push a little about appetizers, drinks, etc. There was a very loud child very near our table. It is indeed a family style place, so not particularly surprising, but also darned annoying. We may be back again, but won't make a trip for that purpose. read more

I took my son here for his 12th birthday at his request. The waitress was one of the best I have ever had. She was on top of it and made sure we were happy. The food was amazing. I had the seafood fettucini it was so good! The prices are a bit expensive, but worth it. I will definitely be returning, when I can afford it. read more

For the 5th time in a 3 month time period I have stood in the reception area waiting to be helped only to be ignored by the wait staff. Today was a really bad experience. A nearly empty of customers restaurant and the wait staff walked past me and ignored me for just under 20 minutes. Then one did finally approach me he treated me like I didn't belong in the restaurant. He questioned why I was there and my response was that I though I was there to eat. He looked at the dinner box and walked away. I left pretty pissed about this being the 5th time...not sure their food is worth the price and such a long wait when the building was just about empty. I've always been one for good service. But to walk in and retrieve our own menu's and seat ourselves at the bar, where there was no bartender, greeted by the host. Still we waited for service and waited some more. Now don't get me wrong we were there early Saturday afternoon and I could have counted the number of patrons on one hand. We finally had to leave. Went in for afternoon lunch. Place was pretty busy. Had a grilled chicken salad for 12.00 bucks. Had 4 or 5 pieces of chicken and a lot of lettuce. Server was really nice and kept ice tea full.
