I immediately received an email from https://johnnydangandco.com asking that fwd a copy of my ID along with me holding that ID. I'm already verified thru Paypal so, I refused. They canceled my order but did not generate a refund. I had to open a Paypal case. Instead of acknowledging the cancelation and issuing my refund, they gave Paypal an 'invalid' tracking number and ended up dragging the refund out for a whole month. I had a dental cap that kept popping loose, and decided to look into replacing it with a rose gold cap. After internet searching for a company that made such a product, I found Johnny Dang. The rose gold tooth I ordered was turned around quickly. It came fitted on the mold I sent in. It's beautiful, exactly what I expected as far as appearance goes. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit as it is supposed to. The way my new rose gold tooth fits makes my bite uneven. Installed, my teeth no longer meet normally, I can't clamp down. Johnny Dang made it too tall at the top and it prevents me from biting down all the way. Installed as is, my rose gold tooth would be the only tooth I would be able to chew with. It's very uncomfortable to have in my mouth, given it is not flush with the rest of my teeth. It's like you're permanently clenching your teeth. Additionally, the tooth digs into my gums, but I think if that was the only issue, it would resolve itself with wear. When Johnny Dang sent the mold kit, I was told I only needed to mold the bottom of my teeth (where the rose gold tooth was going). Hindsight is 20/20, but had Johnny Dang molded my upper teeth, too, the tooth could have been produced to configure in my bite (where the top and bottom molds meet). Instead, Johnny Dang took it upon himself to configure in this factor, and he did poorly. I thought the last expense related to my purchase was going to be the cost of getting a dentist to glue the rose gold tooth in. Unfortunately I will have to get the rose gold tooth adjusted by a dentist, and it won't be cheap. For this reason, I strongly recommend NOT going the Johnny Dang route if you are looking for a permanent dental solution - you'd be better off going to a dental professional from the get-go and having them produce the prosthetic. If the prosthetic came out faulty, it would be up to the dentist to troubleshoot the issue (free of charge, given the dentist would be directly responsible for the error). I dread the price tag attached to whatever the dentist is going to charge me to re-customize my Johnny Dang rose gold tooth. My assumption when I placed my order was Johnny Dang worked in conjunction with a dentist (given jewelers don't usually moonlight as dentists). Nope. It's Johnny Dang who does everything. Seems there could be a lot of liability on Johnny Dang should one of their prosthetics result in oral decline. I found my communication with this company satisfactory. My questions were answered timely and kindly. Regardless, their workmanship (as far as fit goes, again, the piece itself is beautiful but unusable) in my situation was poor. I would not recommend their company for any product that involves molds of your teeth. read more

Did not provide a return label. Then when they received my item for an exchange, the item I previously ordered is "discontinued". Also the item they sent me in its place they claimed was worth 2x the item I originally purchased, but was clearly extremely low quality. They had offered for "let me keep this item instead" and never once mentioned the item I originally ordered was no longer available until they received my return for an exchange. Also the item is still listed on their website along with another one that is newly listed after I had purchased mine and basically the same, just higher carats and slightly more expensive. Every single rolex they showed me in there was FAKE. One I looked at was 99K, and was a terrible fake. Take your business elsewhere or watch a short YouTube video on how to identify fakes. If you want a fake Rolex, you don't need to spend 100K on one: you can order a "superfake" over the web and spend WAY less than $1000K. Not a single watch they showed me had the hidden crown at 6 o'clock, and a few didn't even have engraving on the inside bezel, and the ones that did didn't line up right. It's a cool place if you're a rapper, drug dealer etc. I went in looking for a nice men's band and it took like 30 mins for someone to even acknowledge me, while people decked out in Gucci smelling like marijuana were greeted immediately. I love my wedding band but wanted it fit flush around my engagement ring. I went on google and found Johnny Dang & Co on the custom jeweler's search. I went to 253 Sharpstown Center and talked to Brandon. I was very happy when he told me that it would be an easy fix and should be ready in 1-2 weeks.  Brandon is a very good salesman and also convinced me to purchase marching costume earrings. He was very helpful and provided me with his personal number so I can keep updated on the process. A few days later he contacted me and informed me that it was not going to be an easy process and that a new mold needed to be made to fit around my engagement ring. The thought of my wedding band getting melted frightened me but Brandon assured me that everything was going to fit perfectly and that they would also honor the original price that they quoted me. The process took a little over 3 months. The end product although not exactly what I expected is beautiful and fits perfectly around my ring. I have received many complements on the ring. They sold me some "18k yellow gold Fake Black diamond earrings" for $500 but little did I know I was buying $20 black onyx earrings that were gold plated. Ok so I live in Dallas and I purchased the earrings on my way back home. I finally had them tested a month later and found out not only was the diamonds fake but also the gold wasn't real and they have an 18k stamp on them. So I pulled up to Houston the following month and requested a manager and I spoke to this dude name Alex and he was like yeah man those ain't diamonds their black onyx, did you think you would get 3ct black diamonds for $500 with a smirk on his face! I wanted to but I didn't! but I kept my cool! I'm like excuse me sir my receipt says black diamonds and that's what y'all told me when I purchased! He then says I can't get a refund but a store credit but at this point I don't want none of that middle of the mall jewelry in that store. He then tells me I gotta talk to my boss to give you a new pair of earrings that will be real black diamonds Since we have a no refund policy and we will mail them to you. So I'm like cool I'll take a real pair. So I wait a whole month to hear from him and he says we are going to just mail you a real pair on the house since we sold them as black diamonds. So I was expecting real diamonds this time....Little did I know I waited another month for another pair of fake black diamonds with gold plated metal after I had them tested again. So I confront this Alex guy who ignores me for like 2 weeks so I DM'd Johnny Dang on IG and he responded right away and says I'll have Kevin take care of it for you and get you a full refund. Ok cool it took a whole month for them to refund me my $500 because alex says the boss man was on "vacation" I just received my money Jan 1,2020. I purchased the earrings In September 2019. Sad to say. I wouldn't recommend Johnny dang unless ur a rapper or something. I paid over 3500 for what was suppose to be a diamond solid rose gold 18k grill. Bt instead what I received was a gold grill that they just are dipping in rose gold. I guess to save money and screw you out of yours. I don't want to be told I'm purchasing something and receive something different. Not only that I have had my grill less den 45 days and it's already have diamonds falling out. So the mister and I are starting to look for engagement rings and just wanted to really shop around. While at the Galleria, minus well just peep our head in and see what they have to offer. Even though Johnny Dang is not in my list, I thought I just might get surprised...and I didn't. Johnny's selections are custom and his own brand of jewelry and 'unique inspiration.' They carry from non-certified diamonds to up to GIA (the best) certified. I was even considering purchasing a loose diamond from them and putting it into a setting I liked at another store but we will not be returning because of....service. Most of the time there are only 2 people in the store. An Asian lady who sits behind the counter, unenthusiastic and expressionless. You may encounter the Indian dude, Bobby who does most of the talking. He is nice at first...but maybe after 10 min of trying to just look at pieces or asking questions... it just deteriorates. Things he said and things i didn't like... - He was very pushy and forceful at times. I have experienced the pushy jewelers but he was very very forceful that it was just rude. - Says he doesn't have time for us if we didn't know what we wanted but I did. I told him the diamond I wanted once we walked in. The cut, the clarity, color, and carat. - He said he didn't have time for us and that we would be wasting HIS time. THEN he would say, he could look around for us since he's "not doing anything right now." Suddenly he had time? Well duh, we are the only one's in the store and your bored butt was just on your phone. - Oh, but for him to "help" or "look" for the diamond we want, we had to put a $100 deposit so he could "work" for us. Such BS. - He said "buying a diamond is easy. It's simple." uMM.... I guess if you have money to throw around but we see it as an investment and a BIG deal. Throwing down thousands of dollars is a BIG deal and not something we just make a decision in 5 minutes. - Anyway, I didn't see any setting I liked but I am not sure if nothing caught me eye or I was just turned off by the tone, attitude, and assumptions Bobby was portraying to us. I have been to other jeweler shops that are respectful and professional. I did not get it here. Not from Bobby... He was quite rude when he said he didn't have time to waste on us and we would be wasting his time. That's fine we will 'waste' our time and money at another location. The person who took the mold had to redo it 6 or 7 times becuase she couldn't get it right without breaking the mold. I took my Omega to be repaired and serviced. The quick change date was not working. It is an 80 mile drive each way. I got it back three weeks later supposedly fixed. Now I am home and realize the date still does not work properly. Now I am worried whether it was even serviced.
