Nothing but the BEST customer service was received when I worked with Jonathan's Fine Jewelers to purchase a watch for my husband. Seriously. I found the watch that I wanted to purchase on their eBay listing and I contacted the store so I could get more images and Sergio immediately sent me some via text message. We then continued to communicate and he was nothing but polite, only assuring me that this was the store I wanted to purchase the watch from (even though I am based in Georgia). The transaction was seamless and within 12 hours of my wire transferring the funds for the watch, it was in my hands. Update-Among other items, I had brought in 6 rings to sell the day I reviewed above, and the small guy with an office near the front door offered me $10 for them saying he was certain the were stones costume jewelry and settings not made of real gold. I was surprised at this as my mother never had any costume jewelry, but thought maybe she was mistaken and wasn't aware it wasn't real. Of course I declined his paltry offer. A few weeks later I went for a second opinion, and I took them somewhere else. I had them appraised, and sold TWO of them for $450, deciding to keep the others for now because they are all made of real stones and the settings are gold. Are you recently divorced and ready to unload what the x bought you so you can move on and let go of the past ? If so, this is the place to go for top dollar on your no longer wanted jewelry items. I drove 18 hours to get there with my jewels from my divorce settlement and was met in the parking garage by an armed security guard to make sure my jewels made their way safely to Sergio Nuncios office. (The store is in a nice area but that extra bit of customer service made me feel special). Sergio was very kind and knew that jewelry from the x could still have some sentimentality to me and he spoke kindly to me while he looked over my jewelry. I was very satisfied with the prices he offered me and ended up buying a few items from his show case before leaving. Very professional. Not like a pawn shop but a true jeweler. Tons of unique sparkly items in the cases that were calling out my name. Sergio also offered to make custom earrings (for a fair price) out of some of the smaller stones that surrounded my engagement ring from the x for my daughters. I had a great experience as a seller and a buyer at Jonathonsfinejewelers and will go back if I ever need to sell high end jewelry in the future or want to purchase a unique item or find a Specific Rolex that has sold out at my local jewelers. They were polite, prompt, and most importantly provided the highest offer for my gold out of about eight places I checked, seven of which were in this same building. It was really a huge waste of time going to the other places who offered over 5% less and many of them wouldn't offer anything at all and said they just weren't interested in gold or "that type of gold". Unfortunately, Jonathan's only pays by check and they also want a fingerprint scan. The check is a little inconvenient and the fingerprint scan seems a bit intrusive and I didn't feel comfortable providing it. Maybe it's just paranoia from watching too much of the Borne Identity but it seems like a driver's license should be enough. But if you don't mind that I think this is a fine establishment for selling gold. read more

I bought my wife a diamond wedding ring from Sergio 6 years ago which she absolutely loved. My wife and I are going through a rough time. She has been emotionally stressed. Yesterday evening she went to sell the ring to Kiefer. This morning she realized what a huge mistake she made and called Kiefer first thing in the morning. She explained that she made a mistake and asked what she could do to get her wedding ring back. At first Kiefer said the ring was gone. Later after checking he said it was in the safe. Sergio contacted my wife and instructed us both to come in and said we could work it out. After driving 50 miles to the store we met with Sergio. He shakes my hand and asked what can I do for you (like he doesn't know why we are there). My wife politely informed him she made a mistake and wanted her wedding ring back which he already knew. He then says it's gone. Either Sergio was lying or they destroyed it after my wife called and Kiefer said it was in the safe. Sergio then proceeds to try and sell us another ring. UNBELIEVABLE. It was unethical to get my wife's hopes up that she could get her ring back and ask her and I to drive 50 miles just so he could lie and try and sell us another ring. They took advantage of my wife in her stressed emotional state. Sergio was a cold hearted a**hole who only cared about making a buck at my wife's emotional expense. read more

The only thing I didn't care for was the craftsmanship of the setting they did. My fiancé and I designed our engagement ring together and found Jonathan's on a recommendation from my future father-in-law. Keifer, the young man we worked with, was very personable and communicative. While he was the person we worked with the most, everyone was very friendly and always greeted us whenever we walked in. The whole process took about six weeks or so. We came with an inherited diamond from my mother. From the certification process to finding the side stones, Keifer kept us up to date and informed. He was even in good humor when it came to my long emails with lots of questions! When my mother wanted to come to one of our appointments at the last minute, Keifer was very welcoming and ended up fixing up my mother's wedding ring with perfect results! Keifer even interrupted an appointment that ran over to quickly look at the wax model before finally sending it off for construction. In the end, we received a lovely email thanking us for our business with hopes of working with us again. Since we got our ring, I have received so many compliments! From the very beginning with the engagement ring to the custom designed wedding band, my experience here was amazing. It all started a little under 2 years ago, my now husband knew which diamond cut I wanted but didn't know what kind of band, so Jonathan had it set in a solitaire setting so that he could propose with an actual ring. The plan was to go back to design a custom band that I liked after I said, yes. I was never a solitaire ring girl, so when I opened the box, I was like "????? you got the diamond right, but a solitaire ring you know I don't like those!?!?!" Yeah I was being a brat... but as a few days went by before our appointment the solitaire grew on me. I never thought in a million years that I would fall in love with the solitaire band. We ended up getting the same band made in another metal and Jonathan was able to finish it in a week. Fast forward a year or so later, we got married and went back to Jonathan to design my wedding band. I told him what kind of designed I wanted and he did a sketch. At first I was pretty hesitant that the design wouldn't come out right. It also took a month to make so I was a little worried, but I had faith. Finally I got to pick up my wedding band and I LOVED IT! I couldn't stop looking at it or showing it off. The reason why it took so long was because the design was a little complicated and Jonathan had to fix it. The end result was totally worth the wait.... I would totally recommend him to anyone.
