Only if they would use your total rewards card to earn points and for comp meals, they are located right on the premises of Bally's , makes no sense why they won't use the reward cards. Usually I always go to the johnny rockets right inside of Bally's Casino. However when I went there this time. It just felt different. The first thing I thought was kind of weird was our waiter who waited on the table was wearing very tight pants like a woman. IDK what was going on there. Me & my friends still ordered some breakfast food anyway and didn't think anything of it. We all asked for water for drinks and long and behold what do you know. We all got tap water. We asked for filtered water but we seen the waiter just go back to the sink and dump and refill the cups. WoW.... The food was OK. Not hot like it usually is. It was just warm. Went here for the first time with my family. The place is adorable, however, this review is solely based on the food and service. When I ordered my burger I got the spicy Houston with no bun. What arrived to me was a burger with cheese a slice of tomato jalapenos and lettuce with no sauce. Our waters were never refilled and our waiter only checked on us once. While we waited for a while for him to come and refill our water's in the end we finally ended up leaving. It wasn't my choice but for the sake of the review I gave one a try. I guess I should mention they were ordered as a starter but came out with the meals. So they had sat and the wing juice was pretty much dry and old. So that was tough to negotiate. They did give plenty of range and bleu cheese so that softened the blow. Rudest server I've ever encountered. Our red haired waitress was so unfriendly to us. My husband thanked her 3 separate times the entire night, and she just ignored him. Didn't say anything, just super cold. No "you're welcome", no smiles, just no warmness. I watched as she was super nice to the table behind us, so she clearly didn't like us. I shouldn't have even tipped her ass, but I did. She probaBly only deserved $1 since she did use her arms and legs to bring us our damn food. Made me regret coming here. The service was quick, but the little jukeboxes at the tables didn't work. I don't get the point in having them then. It's busy and they do try and seat everyone asap (very friendly staff) but it's a small restaurant and you will probably need to wait along the other boardwalk and casino walk-ins. When we came in it was a 50's style like I have seen it on undercover boss. Johnny Rockets, ya did good... the second time around. The first time I came here, I had a bad experience with a server who clearly hated her job. My second visit was leaps and bounds better than the first. Service was wonderful, food was good, and I was happy. For starters, we had the sweet potato fries and a chili bowl with cheese and onions. The fries were amazing!! I might even say they were the best SP fries I'd ever tasted. The chili, however, was pretty gross; a bowl of goopy mystery meat in red sauce with a thick film of neon orange oil on top. Do yourself a favor and skip this. For our entrees, we had a grilled chicken club salad and a Route 66 burger. I didn't try the burger, but the salad was decent. A word to the wise: If you choose to eat on the patio out on the boardwalk, beware of the seagulls! They're aggressive and will come after your food. read more

We live a short jaunt from AC, but rarely go there since we aren't exactly rolling in the dough. But we had ourselves some cabin fever yesterday afternoon, and since some DUMBASS burned down the bowling alley, we decided to kill a couple hours in AC. He hit the Pier at Caesars, which has to be one of the world's coolest malls. Then the kids started whining they were starving to death. Since Johnny Rockets is a stone's throw from the PaC, we braved the elements and moseyed down toward Bally's where restaurant is housed. We figured we could get a relatively affordable meal the little monsters would enjoy, which is no easy task in AC since most everything is either uber-pricey or cheap but ethnic. I have been trying for years to brainwash my children into eating ethnic food, but so far I've been unsuccessful, so once again, I found myself having to sustain myself on substandard American garbage food. Johnny Rocket's ended up with three stars instead of two for three reasons. 1.- the ambiance is pretty cool. I mean, how many places can you eat where the wait staff break into song and dance as a matter of course? 2.- they make chocolate coke. sha! sweet!!! 3.- our server, Luna, was amazing. She was a huge ham for the kids, totally played up to them and she clearly loved her job. Some of her co-workers seemed a bit jaded, but Luna was all about customer service and pride. Gotta love her! On the down side, portions are VERY small. See pics- they are as small as they appear to be, which is fine, except they're over priced too. The food is also VERY simple. Salad is nothing more than lettuce, tomato, and cheese. That's it. Bare bones. That's okay, but again, their prices are jacked considering how little you get. The menu is also very limited. And frankly, the food isn't really that good. The chicken fingers that were on my salad were super good, but overall, everyone agreed the food was lackluster. read more

Not only is it good for drunk food, Johnny Rockets is also great for your burger and milkshake addiction. I got the smoke house single which comes with bacon, crispy sourdough onion rings, cheddar cheese and some barbecue-ranch sauce. On top of that, I always end up getting a milkshake and no matter how full I am I always finish it. Of course I feel like a fat pig after, but anyway back to the food. The smoke house single is my favorite because the onion ring with its crunch just makes the burger even better. What better way to wash it down than with a milkshake, some people might think its disgusting, but I love it! The servers are always very nice and attentive, they even give you a small container for your ketchup which they always put a ketchup smiley face before giving it to you. From all the times I've been here, I have only seen them dance once. Also, I love the small jukebox by the table however, it doesn't always work. Still, a very cute addition to the restaurant. If I could give zero stars I would! One person ruined our whole experience! It was my boyfriend's birthday so we decided to enjoy AC for a few days. We've never been to Johnny Rockets. The first night we ate there it was great. We ordered Rum mixed milkshakes and hamburgers. It was delicious! Our waitress was a taller lady. She was nice as well. We said our last day we would come back which we did... We were greeted by our waiter named John and he was very nice and was quite funny. We ordered our milkshakes and it tasted nothing and I mean nothing like the first time! He told Priscilla that we didn't like the milkshakes. Priscilla's loud and ignorant response was "MAYBE THEY ARE IMMUNE TO IT!" Immune??? How are you immune to alcohol? Priscilla was so ignorant she tried to use words Priscilla never used before. If Priscilla was educated she would of at least said we had a "high tolerance" not "immune." I actually feel very sorry for her. I told her what she said was very unprofessional and I'm going to teach her a bit of professionalism, got up from our table, and left. I hope she gets training on how to at least be professional. Nickels were placed on top for any customers to put into the machine. We tried twice but none our songs came up. Boo. Our waitress, Janel, was very sweet and attentive. Came and took our orders and made recommendations. Opted to get the philly cheesesteak after a night of partying and drinking. The cheddar cheese, onions and jalapeno peppers were a nice touch. Where to begin? I Came into the restaurant alone, waiting for my friend to soon join me. I understand restaurants run by rotation and sections, I was myself, a manager for several years at a fine dining establishment. When I was sat, a disheveled looking man whom was quite underdressed, compared to every other employee working, came over to me. I'd woon find out that mam was the actual manager. He searched around for my waiter, and the Manager sent over an employee named Kenneth. It was clear it was not his section, and when he introduced himself, he immediately informed me that his coworker Ashley would be the server and she had stepped out but would be back shortly. He had other customers to take care of, and it was clear he was helping out his co-worker. As he took my order, this waiterress, Ashley approached my table already irritated, and immediately began mistreating Kenneth. "I Don't argue over tables" is a phrase that has stuck with me and prompted me to write this review. Your employee, Ashley, said this to Kenneth as he explained he was only covering for her (which is precisely what Kenneth explained to me before taking my order.) Not only did she insist on an argument with Kenneth, she made an embarrassing display for all to see. Berating Kenneth in front of me, in front of the tables in his section, but most egregious in front of the manager as well! If that is not enough, she then asked Kenneth to "step outside" as your employee Ashley intended to have a fist fight at work?! All of this while your manager stood and allowed the problem to escalate. All the while, your employee Kenneth conducted himself in a courteous manner and I commend his composure and professionalism. The entire restaurant watched this treatment and he looked to the manager, who's name I do not know, and pleaded that some type of intervention be implemented. Nothing was done. Your employee Ashley stormed out of the restaurant, while Kenneth went directly back to his customers and offered HIS apologies for what had just occurred. I spent the rest of the meal watching and listening as the employee Ashley walked around to her coworkers in furtherance to embarrass Kenneth and continue her incredibly unacceptable behavior. The only apologies offered to any tables for this appalling behavoir, were those given by Kenneth to his customers. As far as I am concerned, he is the employee most deserving of an apology. read more

Visited Johnny Rockets on a semi busy night. We were seated outside fairly prompt. A drink order was taken then a food order as well. It appeared as though our waiter was fairly new, and may have mistakenly considered our table as one he should serve as well. Once our orders were in, a waitress came over to take our order and seemed peeved when he told her he already took it. The fries and onion rings came out quick. The fries were thin cut but flavorful. The onion rings were of the frozen variety. Ten minutes later my wife saw our food order sitting on the counter inside, while our waiter struggled with the computer to put in more orders apparently. She also watched numerous wait staff walk by and look at the slip and keep going, as our food sat on the counter. My wife ended up going in to ask the manager if someone could please bring our food, which had been sitting 20 minutes, out to our table?? She also told the manager that the fries and onion rings we ordered with our food were now long gone, and it would be nice if we could get more to eat with the food we ordered them to go with. The manager said " I'll have to check your slip to see how long you've been waiting. Not another word from the manager from then on not even an apology!!! The burger and cheese steaks were good, but customer service sucks. Employees can't be bothered to help a fellow employee out, even when he's struggling to keep up. I've eaten here when we were literally starving and couldn't walk any further. Thinking that Johnny's Rockets would provide adequate sustenance, we are here. We ordered burgers and one order of fries. I had my burger with no bun, but instead, on a bed of lettuce. The JR's business model is so junky. Instead of a plate, they serve a burger on a cardboard disk so if you don't get a bun, the grease leaks through. The bed of lettuce the burger came abed was dismal. I probably would have liked it better if I had the bun but I didn't want the calories. Usually I enjoy a burger much more without the bun. The place itself could also have stood to be much cleaner. My fiancé and I are plant-based eaters so we decided to give this place another try. They had an Impossible Cheeze Burger on the menu, yes, with non dairy Cheeze. They also have non dairy shakes. While we are waiting to order our server comes over by the name of Fay. Fay doesn't greet us, or even make eye contact with us while taking our orders. I felt as though she seemed bothered so I simply asked, How is your day going? Are you okay? She replies, my day is fine. Proceeding to take our order - very dry - very non engaging. We asked her questions about our meal and she was very mechanical-like, no eye contact, no anything. I stated that her energy was off and to suggest when taking customers orders you need to make eye contact and be engaging. She then gave an attitude and asked if I would like another server. I said no, because my fiancé and I were pressed for time. We were already seated and waiting. I should have said yes, because the minute she was done taking our order, she then went over to her other coworkers to discuss the communication she had between us. She was irate and cussing. I couldn't take anymore. At this point I should have walked out but, was really hungry with little to no options for plant-based diets on the boardwalk. We had a decent Johnny Rockets' experience. The place was pretty empty so we were seated immediately. We confirmed we could use our Total Rewards dollars first. Definitely a nice perk being able to use them here! Staff was pleasant as usual and provided good service as expected. Only recommendation would be to have let it be known prior to receiving order, that the product was not what is normally sold on the menu. The Onion Rings were burnt and far from fresh. When we pointed it out, we were informed that they had run out and had to purchase these onion rings from "Sam's." A heads up would've had us choose another option therefore providing a better experience. They were removed from the order without any issue. Well the restraunt is itself not maintained that well, not exactly clean and staff is not that great. Food was mediocre but the worst part were the cooks. We ordered 3 burgers, one of them was the avocado bacon burger and they forgot to put in the avocado, go figure, how can they forget what's in the name. We substituted one beef patty with chicken patty but it was chewy and not eatable (had to throw away most of it). The nail in the coffin was plastic in one of the burger, the waiter called the manager who did not care much and just took that off our bill (not even a decent sorry).
