First, our waitress (I believe her name was Marnie) had an absolutely AMAZING attitude, personality and hospitality... this can be hard to come by in the restaurant industry! And third, I left my new iPhone 6 in the booth but the staff still picked it up and kept it safe and the manager even emailed me to let me know that they had it (I have my email as the lock screen background)! This place will always be special for me. This is where I went on my first date with my wife. So I'll always like it. It has a sort of 50's diner decor, it's all American food. The burgers are pretty good and the service for every time I have been there is reasonable. I like to go here when i want a burger and a milkshake, just kind of makes you feel cozy in there. However as i remember this place does get a little pack, so expect to wait 10-15 minutes. read more

We typically stop to eat at Johnny Rockets after our Sunday afternoon in the casino. Food is typically fast, hot and presented well. It is your typical 50's-60's type diner. If I was rating on service alone, I'd have to give this place 5 out of 5 stars. My husband and I come by here just so we can say hello to Stacey and grab a quick bite before we head back to Massachusetts. This is by far the worst place to eat when you are at the casino. A few months back i came here to do takeout. I stood in front of the cash register for a good 10 minutes without anyone ever acknowledging me. Finally some one came and took my order. Today, I stopped by around 11am and wanted to order something to go. I stood in front of the cashier for what seems like forever and no one acknowledged me again. A few people came close to the area but it was to just grab something and no one even asked if I was ready to order. Finally I yelled out " is anyone going to take my order?" Finally someone said "someone will be right with you." I decided to just leave and headed to Bobby's Burger Palace instead. I'm glad I did. Food was delicious and most importantly they aren't rude. Wow this place was packed at 1am. Full restaurant, lines out the doors. I was given a pager when to pick up my food. My cheese burger and fries was served nice and hot. Large portions. Area of opportunity... The kitchen is open. The trash next to the stove was over flowing. An inch of trash was in the ground. If I had to base ratting hear on cleanliness I would have gone in. Employees need to learn how to "pick up as you go." One employee dropped several items and walked on top of it. Manager was locked in at the register. Hard to observe when your understaffed. AWFUL SERVICE. Threatened to kick me Out because I ordered to go! Which I did not know I was ordering Togo their employees are imcompetent and even the manager threatened to kick me out because of the situation. I proposed to give my tip to the bartenders where I sat and ate my food after threatening to kick me out but they were even more mad I was taking up "space and insisted I tipped more to the bartenders" I could not sit at the bar, I had to keep the tip at Togo and tip the bar more for doing NOTHING! read more

We went to Johnny Rockets in the mood for a burger. I had the #12 and she had the Smokehouse. Both were extremely fresh, the patty was consistent with Shake Shack for me to be honest (we are NYC natives). The service was awesome and quick. Our server was helpful and knowledgable about the menu. Our shakes were delicious. Though you don't have to wear a mask if vaccinated, servers were masked and thorough with cleaning. Ate in yesterday for breakfast/lunch. The banana shake and strawberry Oreo shake are amazing! I got the double meat burger with lettuce and tomato and my boyfriend made his own hamburger because he added egg. Both were delicious!!! The cheese fries were decent, too. I've been to both locations...the full restaurant about a year ago and the the quick serve step up mini-dinner a few days ago. As expected of food in a casino the food seems a bit on the pricey side (especially when you realize each component of the meal is ala cart so that $8 burger is lot more when you add in fries and a drink). That said the burgers I've had here are FANTASTIC...there is a little juice/grease happening here but it's awesome. I had a cheeseburger that had bbq sauce and 2 onion rings on it. Sooooo good. I had a banana-chocolate shake this time which tasted like actual banana in a good quality chocolate...like chocolate syrup was maybe added, which I like. In the past I've had the apple pie shake wich is OMG so good but since I think they blend an actual slice of pie make me feel like I gained 10 lbs and like my stomach wants to explode. My friend I split some chili cheese fries with some onions...they were pretty decent. A larger portion than expected, but I've had better. Not a bad choice while at the casino. This is a chain burger joint. They do have a lot of variety and the food overall is decent. I like their chili dogs and the milk shakes at good. A tad pricey but I attribute it to being in the Mohegan Sun Casino. The one really great thing about the place is it is opened 24 hours. It isn't anything special. If you are hungry and it's late, this gets the job done. The one really bad thing is there will be a long wait late at night for take out, as it's pretty much the only thing open. read more

My most recent visit was on Nov 18, 2016 after a Keith Urban concert a busy night at the casino but again it's great food, amazing shakes despite being busy, the wait has never been that bad. Everything seems slightly too greasy sometimes, and I always walk out with a bit of a stomachache due to the fat content, but sometimes that's what you want. It was here that I discovered Cokes taste even better with Hershey's Syrup. My friends and I will often go there just to get chocolate cokes and cheese fries. If I eat there I usually get the classic double burger. The secret sauce is tasty. I always feel like I'm on the cusp of a panic attack when I'm in there since it's so cramped. First off get rid of Milly, she's lazy and doesn't care to serve the patrons in a reasonable manner. She's bringing down the speed of service. She sits on her phone and frequents the back of the house and really doesn't assist other staff especially during a rush. hardworking staff-- teamwork filled environment. most staff are veterans & know the menu/restaurant in & out. there are gluten free Udi buns & you can sub any burger for a veggie or turkey burger free of charge. the portions are shareable so don't let the casino prices scare you away! 1 fry will do for 2 people. all the food is fresh & cooked right in front of you. managers aren't afraid to get their hands dirty & will hop right in to help staff bus tables, serve hot food, made shakes, seat the door, ring togo people out, etc. the cooks are all great at making picture perfect meals every time. you're always winning at johnny rockets! read more
