We had to drive to Johnnys La Sierra due to the temp. closure of the Madison/Indiana location. The burger was very different. La Sierra Johnnys provided us with a very dry, burnt and all ends patty. The burger had random salty bites and the bacon alone tasted like it was salted. I assume they either pre cook the patties or they have the grill on too high. It was unfortunately a disappointment and we hope the Madison location has a reconstruction team to aide to their unfortunate fire. We also hope the staff is still going to be there because some how they were on point every time. We both couldn't finish our burgers from Johnny la Sierra tonight and at Madison we both wanted more. Got the California burger, the blue cheese or what I assume was blue cheese tasted spoiled and was super grey in color which gave it a weird taste when biting into it, opened the burger up to see the nastiness and seen a long hair in my burger. Ordered a double cheeseburger combo for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. This has got to be one of the best burgers in Riverside. The meat was seasoned perfectly and paired great with the shredded lettuce, tomato slices, onion and sauce that they add. The food was cooked to order and came out quickly. Been wanting to try this place for awhile now. Most recently was given the opportunity when my friend asked if I'd like to join for dinner. With out a doubt, I said YES! He chose this spot and I now I know why. We had the vegetarian patty on a wheat bun with fries. I have high standards for veggie burgers and this one puts the rest to shame. I have a feeling it'll become your favorite veggie burger too. Side note: their ranch is bomb! Their veggie burger is hearty and satisfying which features an irresistible combination of flavors. I'd say, this is the best veggie burger I've had to date. Definitely better than a frozen veggie patty bought at a store. No fuss eating one here, as many veggie burgers are a chore to eat and even make at times. Don't judge a book by it's cover as the saying goes. The architecture of the building is old, but it's been completely renovated inside, so it's very modern. One thing that is odd, but goes along with the architectural flow of the building, is that the bathroom is located outside the main dinning room in the back of the building. The reviews don't lie about the drive-thru wait times. While eating here for the first time, the drive-thru line must've been a 30 min. wait. I suggest parking and going inside to order and take your food this way. At least you'll avoid sitting in an idling car. I came on a Monday. I can imagine what it's like on a weekend. Dropping my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars. I still like the food here but improvements in order accuracy and customer service are needed. The last few months I have been shorted four different times. As a customer, I have failed to provide feedback via telephone except once (today) other than the brief survey I complete in e-mail (Square) whenever I make a purchase with my debit card. I the last few months I have been shorted on four separate orders. The items were: 1) French Fries X2 2) Ranch Dressing (ordered fried zucchini) and 3) Chicken Strips. I finally called tonight after being frustrated with my shortages to report the missing chicken strips (my son's meal). The lady that I spoke with on the telephone instructed me to bring back my entire order to the store to be sorted out. I explained that I did not want to eat cold food and she would not provide the missing chicken strips without it. I'm not a fan of eating cold food 30 minutes after the fact, especially cold fries, so I declined to come back. I recommend to anyone that plans to come here, check your entire order before leaving the drive-thru. The food is good here and the the staff is mostly friendly but check your order. I think I've tried the avocado burger and the double cheeseburger, amazing and well seasoned!! I usually replace my fries with the chili cheese fries, they are delicious and not super greasy. I've had the breakfast burritos, THE BEST!! The give you this salsa to put on it, AMAZING!!! The chocolate shakes are yummy and delicious! Not super thick or runny. I can honestly say after trying this place 2 months ago, I now go weekly like 2 times aha (a lot I know) I can get my whole family food for $50!! In fact the last time I was in I asked if they had a menu that described all of the items they offer (one negative is that they don't offer that), she said no, but that she would tell me what anything was that I was interested in. I proceeded to ask about several different burgers, and she gave me the details for every one, with a smile on her face. Since they have such an extensive menu, one thing they should offer is a detailed menu somewhere that details what everything is. The dining room has dust hanging from the rafters and lights over the tables.
