I thought the pizza tasted really good and the wings were amazing. This was my first time ordering and there was a $10 off $25 mentioned on Facebook and this brought me to Johnny's. I called in my order and the order taker was sweet and got my order correct and in 22 minutes my order was being brought to me, as I had sat at a table to wait after I paid when I entered. I really liked that I didn't have to pay over the phone, I prefer to pay in person and I liked that they trust customers to pay upon arrival. Also there were signs on the door that mask wearing was required, I too liked this. All employees were wearing masks. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and the slices were a great size, the dough not too thick and just the right amount of hard crusts. It came with bacon and this gave the pizza a smokiness to add to the sweetness of the pineapple. The ham tasted good too. I would def get this pizza again, it was delicious. I also got the habanero mango wings. They were perfect. Just the right amount of sweet and spicy, I loved them. They also were just the right size. All in all this was a great experience on so many levels as I received delicious food in a professional and safe environment. Man it's hard to find good pizza in the Triangle... and we have come close, but I think this May be the best pizza we have in town! Started off with a garden salad. Johnny's house made dressing is amazing!!! So good I could drink it (not really but kinda). A huge portion and fresh lettuce, tomato and cucumber. We also tried the hot turkey sub. The bread is perfectly crusty and the flavors all were melted together. Only feedback- the deli isn't the best- but solid. The pizza. Oh the crusty, crunchy crust. The perfectly flavored marinara sauce. The cheese. It came out steaming hot, the crust stayed crunchy - did not get soggy at all and the flavor was excellent. I only wish I could give it zero stars. This will be the last time I eat at this atrocious place. We live about 20 minutes away and we ordered 2 Stromboli's (both with different toppings) and 2 garlic sauces. So we get all the way back home from picking it up and of course, they forgot the sauce I was charged for. So we drive all the way back out to get the sauce (another 20 minutes). We drive back home (another 20 minutes), heat our Strombolis back up, and try again. This time, we find out that both strombolis had the exact same ingredients. Mine came with mushrooms (which i didn't ask for and I'm also allergic to). So we call back (and refused to drive back for the 3rd time). We asked for them to deliver it to us. The fact that the manager told us that we need to give him the original Stromboli is absolutely astounding. Of course we still had it...we weren't trying to gain anything from their mistake and get a free stromboli. But they could at LEAST have had the decency to let us keep it (because my husband ordered mushrooms) as a consolation prize for having to wait 2 hours to finally get what we ordered. So of course, we will give them back the cut-into Stromboli (which they will throw away because who takes back food that's already been at someone's house?) They did nothing. They gave us no discount, and barely an apology. They are on their way out here as I write this to give me the stromboli that I actually ordered. Do you think I'm crazy enough to eat that? Because I'm not. Who knows what kind of surprise is under the cheese and pepperoni. Lesson learned. Never again. *update: They just delivered the new one. There is a large puddle on the side of the box and it's dripping. Is it grease? Who can tell? But it looks disgusting....and I just threw it straight in the trash. I sure would love to test it in a lab though. *****UPDATE AGAIN!!!!! After alllllllllllll that, I decided just for fun to open up the new stromboli to see if it was correct. The IDIOTS used the SAME WRONG ingredients AGAIN!!!! Mushrooms and hamburger!!!! So I had to give back the wrong stromboli (the original incorrect one with mushrooms and burger) and in return they gave me a new stromboli....with mushrooms and burger!!! Is it that difficult to put pepperoni and bacon inside a stromboli?? So I threw it back in the trash which is where Johnny's pizza belongs. Absolutely UNREAL. After all the fantastic reviews on FB about Johnny's we were excited to give it a try. We ordered a hot sub, deep dish pizza and a salad. I placed an online order for pickup. When we got home we had a regular pizza, a lukewarm sub and a mediocre salad. I give Johnny's 2 stars because when I called they offered to make a new pizza and deliver it, that is good customer service. Truth be told the second pizza looked no different than the first pizza. When i called I could hear that they were out of deep dish crust, the crust is what makes it a deep dish. I am happy others have had good experience, as I surely haven't. Please make sure you ask if they have deep dish especially if you are expecting Chicago style deep dish. I will stick to Pizza Hut moving forward. read more

Johnny's is the new kid in town. Decided to try a few days after opening. They are still on a learning curve. The place was very busy but we were able to snag a table. There's only about 11 tables and still lots of people waiting for orders. You order at the counter and after 25 minutes, our food was delivered to our table. I wanted to try a slice, but on this Saturday night, they weren't preparing slices, so I went with a personal pan cheese pizza. Hubs ordered a Stromboli. I'm pretty sure after the newness wears out, they will become quicker and more efficient. They were out of many fountain drinks. They probably should have had a soft opening, but that's not how Johnny rolls. He's all about social media and hype and that's what he got. The pizza was good, however the crust was not what I'd call NY style. The cheese ratio was fine. They have a pretty extensive menu so I will be back to try other food. Hubs enjoyed his Stromboli. I got the pizza & sausage and I really enjoyed it., it had plenty of meat, cheese and they gave me marinara sauce to dip it into. It didn't take that long to get it and they had a constant flow of people and I didn't see too many people waiting long periods of time, even though I know that many had waited long times in previous days. The worst thing happened. The wife was sick and I got home and had to decide what to do as she didn't get to do her grocery run. Yanked open the fridge to find popsicles and a half bag of cheese pizza rolls. Uh oh. Being as I was in no mood to leave the house I hit up delivery and discovered this place. New to me and they had wings and pizza and delivered. Score. My heathen children (all 4) are easy to please but even they ranted about how good the pizza was. I didn't look as I'm not allowed dough right now so I focused on the wings. Two times they have substituted cheese bread which has no fresh garlic taste at all hardly any butter or flavor at all. I usually make my own pizza but sometimes it's not in the cards. We ordered a large pepperoni and large house salad using curbside pickup. Pizza was cooked well done, as I requested, via the Slice app, and they cooked it just right. The pizza really "hit the spot". The greasy glaze on top from the cheese and pepperoni is just what you want sometimes. We really enjoyed the pizza. The salad could've been a little better. It was very fresh but there was alot of excess water on the veggies and in the container. I didn't notice in time and the water ended up diluting the dressing. This is their first week open and we were greeted right away by the staff and the owner. Expecting some hiccups, we had none. Our pizza was out to our table in about 20 minutes. We had a NY style half cheese half pepperoni. The cheese is golden and just the right bit of salty. The sauce is mild and flavorful. My oldest is allergic to garlic which is why we tried this place because their pizza sauce has none. Tables have condiment shakers of garlic, parm cheese, etc if you want to add your own twist. We had the fried cheesecake rolls for dessert. The pizza slices are so big that neither of us could eat 2 slices. The pepperoni tasted like it was freshly sliced. This place is really good. Give them some leeway as they get settled in. We will be back often. read more

Just so you are prepared, no cheese is on the salad I'm not mad bc I assumed rather than ask. But so no one else make the same mistake thought I'd share. I've eaten here many times and the food is good. I never like it when one instance of bad customer service turns me off from a decent place. In this case I drove out 20 minutes to pick up an online order. When I got home I noticed that one of the sauces we had paid for wasn't included. That's fine, I got in my car and drove back. I picked up the sauce and came back we cut into the Strombolis and found that we had two that were identical instead of the two different ones I ordered. Since i didn't want to drive out a third time after a long day i called up the place and asked that the correct item be delivered. They agreed but the manager treated me as if I was trying to get free food from them by insisting that we return the incorrect Stromboli. Something about this exchange just rubbed me completely the wrong way. I've already wasted most of my evening after a long day at work dealing with this. I didn't ask them to take anything off the bill but I felt like they should give some kind of concession or consideration given that they were the cause of the problem. I got the sense that me being a paying, polite customer wasnt important to them. (I never raised my voice or got angry... maybe I should have?) Either way I just have a poor impression of their customer service and will not be back. Having worked a lot of customer service jobs I know good service when I see it. Fast forward to last night and the sausage pizza I ordered through Ubereats was the worst pizza I've had in awhile. $30 wasted on garbage pizza. There were large bubbled up brown areas on every piece. It was so dry. I'm just glad I got a ranch cup to make it somewhat edible. Such a disappointment. Never ordering again from a place where they don't teach people to make pizzas or allow people who aren't trainable to make them. Much of the other items come out of the freezer pre prepared. Half a sub and half an order of French fries was $16.
