The thing I like about this place is how close it is to where I live and how they close late at 10pm. I called at 8:30 and got a reservation for 9:10 on the same day. I bought a Groupon for this place and decided to use it today for a massage. I called in the morning and scheduled a massage for my mom and I; when we went there in the evening told the lady at front desk we were here for our appointment and presented her the Groupon. She immediately got upset that I did not say I had a Groupon when I made the appointment I said I didn't know I had to and it doesn't say in the Groupon that I had to say I have a Groupon as I make the appointment. If mentioning the Groupon is so important when the appointment is made, why don't they just ask their customer from the start when the appointment is made? She said something about how she couldn't take us both and I said that's fine, take my mom, she said OK and as we're standing there somebody else just walked in and asked if there's a massage open for two people and she said no just one person. I don't think this guy had a Groupon, she then said I can't take you right now even and took the guy instead, even though I'm the one with the appointment?!?!? The $80 service included 1 hour full body and 30 minutes for my feet. It was wonderful as Shirley used the "hot rocks" expertly. Shirley's massage relaxed the tension in my back and legs. For a cheap and affective massage, this is my go-to place. They're pretty flexible with their times, but I still suggest calling in to make an appointment. You can get a 1hr full body and foot massage for $30! Add $5 more and you can get hot stones with that, which is totally worth it to me! They remodeled their back room so for this package it's in a smaller area with probably 3 others in the room. It's not private and it's with your clothes on, but you can request for a private room for additional $. The employees here have heavy hands and they're little but they're strong! So brace yourself, they will find the knots! The only complaint is that the ladies do talk sometimes during the massages and they have thin walls so you hear people coming in, getting greeted, and talking at the front entrance. But hey, I guess that's why they offer the private room for more peace and quiet. read more

My bff of the north enjoys this place and suggested we get foot massages. I'm a regular at a corporate massage chain back home, but I've never tried one of these little independent places. My tootsies need a little tlc so I was game. We called about 90 minutes before coming in, and they were able to schedule us. When we arrived, we requested the 1 hr ginger crystal foot massage for $27 and were taken to a nicely decorated community room. Massage beds were comfy, lights were dim, and everyone was respectfully quiet except the snorers, but I guess that was a good sign of the kind of work they do. They set up a soaking tub for my feet, put a heating pad under my back, and I laid back and relaxed. That alone was quite a treat, but there was more. The massage began on my face, scalp, and ears, and the tech worked her way down to neck, shoulders, chicken wings, etc. I was very surprised because I thought I was just getting a foot rub, but I am quite a stress ball, so no way I'm going to object to all this extra attention! Eventually, the tech gets down to my feet, does a great job there, and then I hear her whisper "over" several times. Me: Oh darn, it's over! So I get up, somewhat disoriented and start collecting my things. The tech laughs and says, "no, no, face down" pointing to the massage bed. Oh, duh! It's not over, she just wanted me to turn over! So, I enthusiastically plop back down on the bed, face down. The tech then works on my back, it's a little rough, and then she proceeds to do what feels like squeeze the air out of me. All the while I'm hoping she doesn't squeeze the gas out of me! She does more work on my chicken wings and then my legs, and I try really hard not to kick when it tickles. When I can't take it any longer, I disturb the peace by giggling and she gives me a break. Overall it was a great massage. At times, a little painful, but in a good way. Not at all what I was expecting, especially for the price--what a deal! And on that note, I hope everyone tips their techs well, they deserve it. I kept asking my friend, if that was a foot massage, what more on earth could they possibly do for a full body massage. So the difference is, you get a private room and can strip down to your tighty whities and have a longer session if you like. I've been going here for years. Always have enjoyed a great massage. Even brought the prepaid pkg and have always tipped well. My son and I went last night and each received a great 2 hour massage. They said they only could take cash I guess because it was late. I paid for both and gave all of the cash I had left for tip. The cashier not being happy with the tip. Asked for more. I told her she said cash only, then she brought out the machine so I could give a larger tip, which I did. So clearly we could have paid for our service with credit as well. My issue is tips are not required and it's up to the customer as to how much. After not having a massage for over a year and understanding businesses and customers have been impacted by Covid, the pressure for more of a tip made an enjoyable much needed service awkward and uncomfortable and almost took me out of my zone. I'll go back but I think it is rude to ask for more of a tip. You never know someone's personal situation. I would have brought an additional tip up today anyway. Businesses must remember to earn people's trust and tips as we transition back to supporting them after Covid restrictions. read more

My boyfriend and I came here for a couples massage. I definitely recommend this place if you need a deep deep tissue massage. This place has a very soothing and calming environment. We both had women and both of our women were very strong for how little they are. Overall the massage was great she was able to get all my knots in my back and she massaged out the cramps in my hand, my masseuse was just a little too rough on my butt bone. But other than that there really wasn't any problem. I honestly can't complain because this was well worth $40 per person. There is a little bit of a language barrier, but they do understand what you're trying to communicate. Do know that if you come to get a massage here they don't tell you much. They automatically expect you to know that you need to get undressed for a full body massage. There's plenty of parking so there isn't any worries. You keep your clothes on for this one and get a good massage! Then I got a full body massage where you disrobe. Another wonderful experience! My friend originally recommended it to me because she said the males that work here are heavy handed. I thought that's what I needed and I was not disappointed! Unfortunately I had a terrible experience here. I arrived here on time for a 90 minute full body massage, and everything seemed to go well. Eventually a male masseuse came into the room and I wish I had requested for a female, oh well, it wasn't the end of the world. The first half of the massage went by pretty alright, but the main problem I had was that the masseuse didn't know a single word in English. As in, not even "stop" or "lighter". So every time I wanted to ask him to readjust the pressure, or not go too far up my thigh because I am ticklish in the upper thigh, he has NO idea what I'm saying. I try to gesture but it's not really working. He resorts to going out, finding another worker and coming back into translate for me. This happened another 4-5 times, and I was getting pretty frustrated that instead of relaxing I had to play a game of gestures and translation. On top of this, my masseuse was regularly coughing throughout the session, and it got pretty distracting. It just doesn't feel good to have someone touching you while coughing so close to you at the same time. Lastly, he ended the massage early. There was at least 20 minutes on the clock and he just packed up and left the room. I was under the sheets, half naked, wondering what just happened. Eventually he came back to check why I haven't left yet and I had to (through a translator) tell him there's still 20 minutes of massage left. He apologizes and goes back to it, but the whole experience was just too awkward and confusing, I was no longer relaxed and I just closed my eyes and hoped for it to end. To top it off, as I went to the receptionist to pay for the massage, the masseuse followed me the whole way, looking at me the whole time, and asking directly how much I'm going to tip. I left a $4 tip, which was less than what I had planned to in the beginning but I really can't bring myself to tip him any more than that. He saw the amount, and immediately shot me an angry/dissatisfied look. Sorry buddy, but if you wanted to receive tips maybe you should learn a few basic English words (or just how to read body language), not cough all over your client, and not end the session early because you forgot to keep the time. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! This place is beyond horrible. I didn't get a massage, it's more like I got beat up. Got bruises all over my body and it's not because I'm on blood thinner or am easily bruised. For the whole freaking hour 90% of the time I was getting pinched and clawed by her nails. I wanted to get up soooo badly, but didn't want to ruin it for my partner that was there with me. Plus I kept thinking that it'll get better. Unfortunately it didn't and lasted til the very end. Oh also when she put oil on my back, i swear she probably pour one day worth of oil supply on my back.
