I know some people either love it or hate it. I love it. The chicken here is always crunchy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. It's easy to fill up on chicken & sides, but ya gotta save room for the pie. It's good most of the time. On a rare occasion, the dough is on the undercooked side. Try their unique drinks. There's limited seating inside. You'll have an easier time finding seating outside in the general food court.
Service was pretty fast. Got my order back in a decent amount of time. The inside has a decent amount of seating, but if it's full there's still plenty of seats in the mall's food court area. I actually prefer it in the food court area because it feels less cramped. I haven't been to a Jollibee in forever. Decided to try out the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich and was kind of disappointed because they didn't put enough mayo so overall it tasted really dry. It wasn't until I got midway through the sandwich that the chicken was actually juicy. The chicken was also not anything special flavor wise. Not satisfying to say the least. No complaints with the peach mango pie. My absolute fave!
I placed an order through the app for pickup. I forgot to order the chicken as spicy, so I ended up with original. We also ordered the KBBQ chicken, spaghetti, and the Palabok fiesta. Order was due to be ready at 7:30pm on a busy Friday night. Order was ready at 7:32pm and they sent me a text message letting me know my order would be ready 2 minutes late. When we arrived at the restaurant, we stood outside for a few minutes, then we got in the order pickup line. The staff were efficient and super pleasant. The restaurant was clean and tidy despite the number of customers. The original chicken wasn't as crispy as the spicy chicken I've had from a different location before. It was still tasty. The KBBQ chicken was really good; I liked the sauce. My kiddos love the spaghetti and another of my kiddos said the Palabok fiesta was "okay". The restaurant was packed, so I suggest ordering ahead in the app. You'll accrue points that you can redeem and you will also get coupons.
I was craving for some fried chicken so I hopped over to Jollibee. I got the 2 pcs chicken joy (spicy) with Palabok (Filipino rice noodles with ground meat and egg). I also got an angus burger since I've never had one and wanted a pineapple in my sandwich. $28.00 with tax. The chicken is always crunchy but really tender inside. The palabok is salty & savory but wished it had shrimp. The burger is okay. It's nothing special or write home about. It's just like any other burger. Service was fast when I went. And ambience is like any fast food place in a mall.
Went at lunch and it wasn't as crowded! Chicken came out hot, juicy, tasty. Gravy was also good. Spaghetti was tasty and ube pie was a great way to finish lunch.
Why can I say about Jollibee that hasn't been said already. It is crispy, delicious, and wonderfully spiced fried chicken. I guess I could also say that my expectations were sky high and it still met what I wanted fully. I am a white American who loves fried chicken of all kind and can fully state that this fast food fried chicken is better than any other option. Bojangles, KFC, Popeyes, etc. None of them hold a candle to Jollibee. One thing I was thoroughly impressed by was the Jolly Spaghetti. I had heard that some people not used to this type of spaghetti wouldn't like it but I loved it. It was sweet but the pasta had a great taste when combined with every bite. I don't mean this in a negative way but it tasted like a gourmet version of spaghetti-Os with hot dogs in it. I also tried the burger steak which was a good option if you go and don't want chicken or jolly spaghetti...not sure why you would want that but it was good. The mashed potatoes and gravy were divine and you have to get a side of gravy with your chicken to dip the chicken in. It's incredible. Ended the meal with the ube pie and peach mango pie. Ube pie was good but nothing special. Get the peach mango pie. Do not skip the peach mango pie. Perfectly sweet and man that crispy shell is something magical. Please bring Jollibee to Denver so I can eat it monthly. I love that little Red Bee and seeing their face by the entrance.
Juicy and crispy chicken at an affordable price (~$12/person), a great spot for a quick and filling comfort food meal! First time trying Jollibee with my family and it absolutely exceeded my expectations: Chicken: incredibly tender, juicy meat on the inside, crispy and well-seasoned on the outside, best eaten hot -if you dip it in the complementary sauce that comes with the bucket combo, it adds even more flavor (but the sauce by itself is quite salty) Sides: -French fries: the fries were average, not the best, not the worst -Mashed potatoes w/ gravy: it's good, nothing special, smooth consistency and good savory taste -Spaghetti: surprisingly good, the spaghetti sauce is sweet and pairs well with the spaghetti Overall, we paid ~$37 for this 10pc chicken + 3 side combo Would come here again for a quick and filling meal, place is very busy so don't expect a seat, but they do give you plates, napkins, and wooden utensils If possible, I'd love if this place offered plastic gloves to customers for them to eat chicken with their hands!
I've heard so much about jollibees from friends growing up (at least for fast food) so I was so excited to see what the hype was about. Unfortunately I don't think it lived to the hype. The chicken was crispy was inside it was incredibly dry. I know it's supposed to be dipped in the gravy but I still don't think that rescued the dryness of the chicken. I also ordered the palabok with it, and I thought it was ok. The plus is that if you're in a rush, food comes out fast and the people here seem friendly.
Ahhhhh. How I love fried chicken! Went to the mall the other day with the hubs and saw they had a deal on fried chicken. Ten pieces and 3 pies! It doesn't get much better than that! Went there the next day with my SIL and did we feast! The counter person was nice and told us for an extra dollar we could get 3 sides instead of the pies. Tempting to get for mac and cheese but I have to say, I LOVE those pies. But I'll get to that later. The restaurant is decently sized in the food court so you can eat in the restaurant where there are a few tables or take your food to go to eat at the food court. If you want it quieter and less hectic, eat inside. If you don't mind the hustle and bustle, eat outside. The chicken was a bit small but not as tiny as some other fast food place which shall remain nameless...love the crunch of the skin and was happily surprised to see mainly thighs and drums cuz I hate it when they put in dry backs and whatnot. I am not a gravy dunker even though they give you 2 containers but I do put honey on my chicken and they were generous with the honey when I asked. The chicken was crisp and moist which is already and 8/10 for me. The flavoring of the skin was okay, nothing special but that's okay since I put honey on my chicken. Why the 4 stars? Cuz the pies put them over the top. They used to fry them better where they were crisp like the good old days of Mickey D's apple pies. Now it's partly crisp and partly baked. The mango and peach combo can't be beat and that makes the trip to get fried chicken from them worth it. The only minor setback was that it seems no one wipes down the tables. I think I need to carry wipes for all fast food tables now. But it wasn't a big deal. Go get some chicken and pies!
Jollibee is a Filipino fried chicken chain but from the fried chicken perspective you probably won't be able to tell it's Filipino except the they offer chicken with gravy. It's usually really good fried chicken that's crispy and I do like the dark meat. However this time I'm reviewing the new chicken tenders. I had cravings for Raising Cane's but the new one closeby is not opened yet so I decided to try the new tenders offered by Jollibee. I think the tenders are delicious and very tender inside but I do wish they offer better sauces such as the ones offered by Chick-fil-A or Raising Cane's. So my tip is to bring your own sauce (leftover from Chick-fil-A r Raising Cane's). In general I'd recommend the regular legs/thighs but the tenders are not bad. The place itself is in the mall food court so it's usually crowded and the in-store seating is extremely limited and the food court itself can be crowded too. The line can be long but they move fast and the orders are distributed fairly efficiently. The parking for the place is also difficult to find but you'll eventually find a spot because it's a mall albeit you might have to find further away.
I went to the Jollibee inside the food court at Serramonte Mall and was really disappointed with the palabok. It had no shrimp, no parsley, and the flavor was very bland. This is not the quality I expect from Jollibee. Definitely not worth it this time.
This is one of the fav placed when a chicken strip craving hits. The guava freeze is SO good. Everyone seemed to be drinking the pineapple drink as well so it's on my list for next time. Service is pretty fast and there's plenty of spots to sit and eat inside or in the food court.
The location was nice even if the space is a little small.I'm from Southern California and was there in the Daly City for work.The Korean Chicken Burger somehow satisfied my cravings for Jollibee.I was just curious about this for limited only Korean Chicken.

As fast food goes... Jollibee is just plain yummy. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy and stays that way for hours and even when cold. They only have dark meat so its simple to order. The spaghetti is sweet... not like sweet tomatoes... more like they add sugar. Its interesting in a good way. I love the sliced hotdogs!! Now for the bad news.... the new containers for spaghetti is now paper trays and no longer plastic so of course it got a bit soggy and crushed. Made a mess in the bag. read more

Located in the Serramonte food court, decided to give it a shot as it seemed to be the most popular option. Got their 2 piece chicken joy that comes with spaghetti. The chicken comes with a gravy dipping sauce. The skin was super crispy and meat was tender. However, there wasn't much flavor on the meat itself. The spaghetti sauce is on the sweeter side, but was pretty tasty. Overall, I think it probably is better for people who crave it from a nostalgic standpoint. For someone who's never had it before, I wouldn't necessarily rush back to have it. read more

This Jollibee is located inside the Serramonte Mall food court and it is busy! Jollibee serves Filipino fast food and is a very popular destination in the food court. A family member recommended that I try the peach mango pie and it did not disappoint! It's a deep-fried pie with a buttery pie crust that isn't too thick, filled with a hot, sweet, jammy mango and peach blend. Go try one out... I got ten. read more
While at the mall, I stopped to get some pie. These are some of the best tasting pies from a fast food place. The line moved quick and the pies were served super hot. The warning on the box is not lying. After letting them cool down, the flaky crust along with the filling are so worth the wait. If you haven't tried the pie, you need to. This was my 2nd time eating at Jollibee and my husband's first. We both agreed that its better than Popeyes but not quite KFC. KFC's tender is the bomb and when they used to have their spicy chicken breasts, it was the best. We ordered the 3 piece chicken tender meal, 2 piece drumstick and thigh meal with comes with sides of mash potatoes, gravy sauce, and soft drinks. Chicken tenders were not bad at all. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and HOT (just out the fryer). They are filled with meat and not the crust like Popeyes. The 2 piece I had SPICY instantly as you bite into it. For how big the 2 piece looked, there werent much meat inside and just the crust. Mashed potatoes were OK. Kind of like eating boxed mashed potatoes that you get from the grocery store. They gave us 2 gravy sauce and one spilled out on the bag and caused a mess. Ordering however was easy as I placed an order online. It showed ready in 6 mins, got there in 8 mins and still not ready since the chicken tenders were still in process. The ladies working the counter was quick and fast was all speaking Tagalog. I noticed the restaurant was very clean, filled with people dining indoor and line out the door. It clearly is a very popular restaurant at this mall. If you crave chicken, it's a good stop. Once in a while we crave some yummy Jollibee fried chicken. The fried chicken was crunchy, crispy, juicy, but not spicy at all. Maybe I got the non spicy? Last time we went to Jollibee, I only got one of the peach mango pie and I gave it away to my MIL. Should have gotten two because she said it was delicious! Wow! This was the fastest jollibee ever Maybe since I only ordered 1 chickenjoy and nothing else but I'm still impressed that we got the order in 2-3 minutes instead of 30-45 minutes like all the Jollibee's (UnionCity, concord, the other one in DC ) The young guy who took my order was thorough and asked for anything else, asked even if wanted an peach mango pie. (Was missing one from my UnionCity jollibee order a week ago so should of requested it today ) The "manong" helping to clean up the tables was very pleasant and helped my daughter by taking the tray to discard it for her & was very nice when we were Leaving. I was able to order half original & half spicy at no extra cost. The seasoning was very asian-tasting, it had a sweet msg and white pepper taste. Definitely never tasted fried chicken like that before, and not sure if I like or not lol. The gravy also had that same type of sweet peppery flavor, and tasted super artificial to me. Overall it tasted meh, but at least the meat was very juicy and tender!! JOLLY SPAGHETTI -- $4.49 Imagine eating normal spaghetti meat sauce drenched in syrup and hotdog bits. Located in a corner of the Serramonte Shopping Center food court, Jolibee offers all of its Filipino goodness consistent in quality with other locations. Being fairly new, the place is quite modern and clean. The workers here are quite friendly and helpful as well. There are a few tables in this location but there's always all the seating in the food court available. As for the food, it is up to par with the food I've had at other Jolibee locations. The chicken has nice crispy skin and the palabok is flavorful. The wait for the food is not too long. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a quick option with consistently delicious Filipino style fast food. read more

A really good deal for delicious crispy chicken and Filipino fast food! Even though I came at an off time, the fried chicken was fresh and crunchy. I was pleasantly surprised that the spicy chicken was actually quite spicy, and it's even more delicious when dipped in gravy. The spaghetti is a unique must-try, and the peach mango pie was the perfect sweet treat. The combo meals are super worth it, especially when hungry after shopping. What a great grand opening day and great time for dinner!!! Honestly - I didn't know it was grand opening day... I took the gamble because the line at the Callan location was too ridiculous and I saw that the Serramonte location was listed on google as OPEN! Ordered the family 10pc pack with 3 pies and 2 spaghetti family packs! All that food was ready within 6 minutes from paying! The line can look intimidating but they move so swiftly and the employees are all pleasant! They were ready for their grand opening and they were in good spirits and the food tasted great! Only three stars, because I only had the chicken sandwich and a root beer. When we walked up to Jollibee, the line was long, it moved quickly, and the service was friendly. I'm not sure if they cook every sandwich to order, but if that's the case, the weight makes sense. The sandwich was nice and hot, fries were yummy, and I really enjoyed the mug root beer. I haven't had a mug root beer in years. I wasn't disappointed with the sandwich, but not totally thrilled. To me, the sandwich seemed a little dry, and the batter didn't seem, like it had much taste to it. I also noticed that they had barely put any mayonnaise on there and it had no pickles. We went back and asked for mayonnaise. The meal wasn't bad at all, but I don't know why I expected more. It's probably because I've heard a lot of my friends rent and rave about this place. It's been twenty years since I visited and ate Jollibee's food. It was when they had their lone San Francisco store at the corner of 4th and Howard, right by the newly built Moscone Center. Well, having been frequenting another fast food chain at the Serramonte food court, I couldn't help but notice this new stand that replaced a Vietnamese pho place right at the south entrance to the food court. I grabbed a menu, brought it home, and studied it. The menu is not the same as I remember so I made a point for my recent visit to pick up a few things to bring home. There was a short line (two or three people ahead of me) but the wait was not very long. As I was the next in line, another staff member came out with a order tablet and took my order standing right next to me. I paid with my credit card and was given a printed receipt. As I walked away, I noticed about eight or nine people hovering by the entrance waiting for their food so I went back to my friend's and my table just outside and dug into my Chinese food meal. Peeking over every few minutes, I kept an eye for the person who just ordered before me and noticed everyone else that was there previously was gone. About eight to ten minutes later, I walked up to the pick up counter and, lo and behold, the young lady called my number. In the Chickenjoy Perfect Pairs section, I ordered the 1 pc Chickenjoy w/ Jolly spaghetti and soda meal (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=WQOUepl0Jdc5fkM2o3xl0w&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) which I had for dinner that evening. I love spaghetti, pretty much any and all versions except for that version from Jollibee 1.0 from twenty years ago (hence the gap time). The fried chicken drumstick was nicely seasoned, not overly salty, and still crispy even six hours later. The spaghetti actually was pretty good though still on the sweet side for my palate. I enjoyed that there were sliced franks (spaghetti and franks is a combo that works) and cheese curds or pieces to break the monotony of the sweetness. I would have the chicken again and would eat the spaghetti but likely not on a regular basis. My other order item was the 2 pcs Burger steak with a side of white rice (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=IiRwaq9G4XfSXhCANcHbjw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). The menu picture immediately reminded me of a loco moco, save the egg. I reheated this at home a few days later, steaming the rice and foil covering the burger and gravy in the toaster oven. Having this for dinner, it was indeed filling and big props for them in providing an extra small container of brown gravy to pair with the rice. All I needed was to fry an egg and some Red Devil hot sauce and I'd be good to go. This, I will have again. Finally, I couldn't resist ordering the peach mango pie (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ch4t030Maqqhj_QzQY18PA&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) which reminded me of the old school McDonald's apple pies (fried, not baked please). I reheated this in the toaster oven the next morning for breakfast and it was okay but didn't really wow me. Two side notes, I later read that Jollibee's would be opening another store in SF in the next year or so on Market St. With their revamped menu, they have a higher chance of success than back in the '90's. Also, I read that their parent company also recently bought out one of my favorite upscale dim sum places in Honolulu, the touted Tim Ho Wan based out of HK. Fingers crossed that there won't be any quality drop off from this. Back to this experience, I will be back to have the chicken again, trying other chicken parts (breast, thigh, etc.). I will likely get that burger meal again and might given their chicken sandwiches a whirl. The menu certainly is more interesting than I remember in those Moscone days. read more
The was my first time trying this location. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and I tried the pies!! The chicken sandwich was dry. I would not recommend! However the pies were delicious!!! My favorite is their peach pie. It reminds me of the original apple pie from Mc Donalds before the baked ones they have currently on their menu. The pies at Jollibee were hot and fresh. They had a crispy outside texture and the filling was ooey gooey! I would highly recommend trying this place out! read more

- 100 stars. I found something that looked like little worms inside the chicken strips that my 5 yr old son was eating. We purchased 10 pieces of strips yesterday at around 1 pm. My kids ate most of it but we had 4 left over. Today at around 4 pm, my 5 yr old son started eating the strips again and that's when I found a cluster of what looks like worms inside one of the strips. I used to really like Jollibee but this just turned me away and question the quality of their chicken/product. I messaged their Jollibee corporate to bring to their attention because this is disgusting. Attached is the picture of what I found. This place is a very unique experience Hong Kong style fried chicken in the mall. With delicious dipping sauce is pineapple barbecue Sriracha honey mustard etc. it's a must try whenever you're here. Okay so we have stopped going to jollibee for a while because of ridiculous wait time for a fast food service even though we absolutely love love that juicy, moist and crispy jollibee chicken and spaghetti. One day we were at the Serramonte mall and the smell of that chicken goodness is just so freakin irresistible so we said what the heck let's just do it one more time. Man i was so surprised!! Our order took less than 5 min!!! Seriously less than 5 min??!! Miraculous!!! Something must have happened and we are loving it!!! Thank you Serramonte Jollibee!!! Spicy fried chicken all the way! It's always a mystery to me as to why I crave their sweet spaghetti. My guess is it's most likely nostalgia. If you didn't grow up with it, I wouldn't be surprised if you don't like it. The spicy fried chicken is really tasty and not too spicy. It's a must try. For a chain, Jollibee is not bad at all! I really wanted to try the spaghetti but I don't think it's worth the price. I recommend getting a lot more chicken instead of the spaghetti. I expected a lot from the pie because everyone said it was really good. It exceeded my expectations! I don't know if I would come here often but I will definitely have days when I crave Jollibee. read more

Who doesn't like Jollibee? I'm not a huge fried chicken fan but my mom tends to like it. I've been to this Jollibee 3 times in the last 2 weeks and each time I had a great experience. Employees are beyond friendly. They are so courteous and are always smiling. My last order was the 10 piece meal with mashed potatoes and fries. Because they had to fry my fries, the employee walked over to me while I was waiting and apologized to me for having to wait the extra few minutes. I've never had anyone at a fast food place care that I waited an extra 3 minutes! This place is located in the food court at Serramonte. It does get busy but they have plenty of employees. I joke with my mom that Jollibee has taken half of Panda Express's customers. The line is alot shorter there now. read more
