When this place is on, it's delicious! Everything you've come to know and love about Jollibee! When it's not, it's just okay. The last two visits, during the lunch hour when all should be hot and fresh, it has not been up to par. With that said, my hubby is a fan of the Jolli spaghetti and chicken joy (when hot) their halohalo. I find the spaghetti too sweet for my liking, but their chicken strips, when hot, are the best fast food chicken hands down. Yummy gravy to dip in and I'm a big fan of their honey mustard, too. I love Jollibee! Its one of my favorite fast food restaurants here and in the Philippines! This one is conveniently located at Ka Makana Ali'i. I was so happy when they opened this one because it's close to where I work and I don't have to drive all the way to Waipahu just to get my Jollibee fix! The customer service is great, they know how to treat their customers! A lot of the workers are friendly, and very respectful towards their customers. Some don't speak English that well but they try their best to serve you and that's all you can ask for! The food is my favorite part about this place! I love their chicken joy meals. Wanted to get a quick bite on our way back to the Windward side from an event in Kapolei. The drive-thru line was long, but ok, no problem; it was a Saturday night around 8pm, and they were busy. I should've known just to say, "No thanks, cancel that part of my order," when the drive-thru clerk said that a chicken item was taking an extra 10 minutes, but I wasn't given the option to cancel. When I went to the second window to pay and get my food I was given everything but that particular chicken item and told to park anywhere in the lot, and the rest of my food would be brought out to me. First, how are you going to know which car belongs to what order when I just park anywhere? (Maybe they have cameras? I still don't know how that would work.) So I anxiously wait almost 20 minutes for the food to be brought out, wondering how they'll know which car is mine. Then, I go inside, with my daughter in tow, to check on my order thinking they couldn't find me. It is still not ready. I wait another 10 minutes inside, and the item is finally ready. This was my first time trying Jollibee's. I heard good things about the food and decided to try it out. I ordered the chicken which came with very tasty brown gravy. I was surprised how juicy the chicken was and super Ono. I would say the chicken was better then KFC. My only problem was how long it took to get my order. I used the drive thru which is why I decided to try Jollibee, but OMG it took a long time to place and get my order. There was only two cars in front of me, but still it was quite the wait. It took me a while to try out Jollibees because when I think of Filipino food, I don't really think fried chicken or fast food of any kind. But when I saw that they were opening at Ka Makana, I had to try them out. We got the Aloha Yum burger (burger with pineapple) meal with pineapple juice, 3 pc fried chicken, a kids hamburger meal, mango peach pie, and palabok noodles. What is palabok noodles? According to their website: Premium bihon noodles served with mouth-watering palabok sauce and toppings of pork chicharon bits, tinapa flakes, sauteed pork, shrimps, and slices of egg. Everything was awesome! The burger was juicy, flavorful, and a decent size. The pineapple juice was a refreshing change from soda. Actually, the fries weren't my favorite (I still prefer the golden arches when it comes to fries) but they were still pretty good. My son and husband liked the fries. The fried chicken was perfect. It comes with gravy!! Whaaat?!?! The chicken tasted like how KFC USED TO taste like. Like it was fried in clean FRESH oil. And the gravy taste just like KFC. The mango peach pie was delicious. It was on the more sweet side, but it was very yum. Would have been perfect with some vanilla ice cream! Now, these noodles... I didn't know what to expect. I knew that Filipino spaghetti is sweet, so I didn't want that. I knew that I love me some pancit, but palabok is not pancit. So I just decided to try it.... And I loved it. I don't know what that sauce is... it's kind of like a nut sauce with pork or something but it's good. I like all the add-ins like the shrimp and egg. The staff here was SUPER friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Excellent customer service. We went straight to this Jollibee from the airport to see why Anthony Bourdain kept coming back. He always ordered the 2 piece Chickenjoy with a Jolly Spaghetti. We did the same except with the Fiesta Noodles. The fried chicken was crispy and moist, and came with gravy. The noodles were a perfect complement. I'll probably try Uncle Tony's spaghetti next time. The peach mango pie and Pearl Coolers looked good, but if you want to go deluxe for dessert, try the Halo-Halo. It's a mixture of all kinds of sweet goodness. My preferred method is to mix it all together until it's one purple mush, then drink it like a chunky shake. This Jolibee is in the Ka Makana Ali'i area. It's more on the outskirts of the mall parking lot. They have their own parking lot and the drive through is very convenient. We have visited twice now. Our first visit we sat inside and our second was for drive through. We haven't quite explored the entire menu but we have tried has been really good. Of course we had to have the fried chicken, that's where it's at. The other must-have for me is the pancit palabok. We also had the beef steak and a peach pie. The beef steak was pretty good, sons choice and he enjoyed it along with his chicken rice and some French fries. The peach pie, I could do without. After having a bit of the pancit palabok meal, we couldn't get enough and there wasn't enough for sharing. I had to order a family pack! On our most recent visit I ordered the family pack again, but it still wasn't enough for a family of 5. I'll definitely need two of them next time! The prices aren't cheap though, so if you're there to feed your family... It's probably a once a month splurge or less. Each meal cost between $7-13 and I wouldn't say it's always fully satisfying. For the 4 of us on our first visit I probably spent over $40 to feel completely satisfied between all of us. As for service, it was good. The food took a bit to prepare so I was sent off with a buzzer after paying. Probably took about 15 minutes if even that. The dining are is clean and spacious. The bathroom is clean as well. Worst worst worst customer service here. They seem to recognize me by my voice and obviously see me on the camera at drive thru. I always order my regular, the 2 piece plus one side. And always ask for spicy, the lady at the drive thru named jessayln May L who takes the orders (skinny small filipina, she's always the same one, works at lunch time) I request I want the 2 pieces to be spicy thights she pulls the same scam on me that it's going to take 20 minutes, she always tells me this, so I'm used to it from her. So I told her again for the third time I'm willing to wait 20 mins and it's no problem. So I wait in the waiting spot and I tell myself this is my third time and last time I let her fool me like that, also heard the man behind me order a bucket of spicy chicken and didn't hear her tell him to wait 20 mins, so I got down to see for myself if they really don't have spicy thights available and need that long to make them. And surprise surprise it's around 50+ pieces of spicy chicken there. As soon as I walked in the lady with glasses and short hair whispers to the one who takes drive thru orders and she looks around at me shocked and ignores me, while I keep my cool and stay polite and asked how there's soo many spicy chicken available and yet they're having me wait 20 minutes. A lady from the back came out and I explained how this has happened to me 3 times and how this lady does this to me as if she has a personal problem with me , the sweet lady who came form the back apologized and shook her head as if this isn't the first complaint she hears of this lady doing this and offered me a free pie , immediately jessayln and the lady with short hair and glasses and also this other lady that seems to be a manager starts yelling at this sweet lady for offering me a free pie, I told her I don't want the pie but appreciate it. Jolliebee is now more accessible to us on the west side of the island! I was surprised to hear that this location is already open. Located at the Kamakana Ali'i Shopping center, on the right side of Macy's and between Wendy's and 24 Hour Fitness, it's still shiny and new. Bright red with flags flying displaying the restaurant name and their bee mascot, it's hard to miss...lol. I went through the drive thru to pick up some chicken for my wife's work potluck. In case you haven't tried Jollibee before, they're known for their fried chicken and believe it or not, it's aptly named "Chicken Joy". Probably because of the joy you'll feel once you bite into their chicken. Be careful though as it's piping hot since it's made fresh. Yep, they've found a way to compete with both KFC and Popeye's. Crispy skin and a juicy inside, this chicken is pretty tasty. Their bucket chicken only comes in a 6 piece and it runs a pretty penny; about $13 but it also comes with a side of mashed potato covered in gravy. The smell of their chicken makes my mouth water and I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! There's other items on the menu such as spaghetti and a hamburger covered in gravy dish. I didn't check the menu for other things because I was there simply for chicken. . Since this location has just opened, everything is new and clean. So I came here on Monday October 1st to get something to eat for dinner after the gym at 24 hour fitness since it's literally right next to each other. I got their hamburger steak combo, corn for my side, & a pineapple drink. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this suppose to come with rice? Yay! A new location has opened. Located behind Wendy's at the Ka Makana Ali'i shopping center, this location is clean and new. They have their own parking lot and drive thru. I decided to drop in and have my partner try it. When we walked in, we were greeted by smiling faces of the workers behind the counter. (Side note: when you walk in, you literally walk into the line to order. It's a little weird. I was ready to order yet i was holding up the line while scanning the menu. Maybe change the direction of the order line?) We ordered the Palabok Fiesta with chicken tenders. I love the fact that the gravy is the dipping sauce for the chicken tenders. Our food was ready in a timely manner. The workers were great and happy. However, the palabok was very bland. The chicken was good. I was extremely happy to fall in love with this place. Back in California, Jollibee didn't do so hot as it had more of an Americanized flare rather than sticking to the way it should taste. As being Filipino, I prefer Jollibee to have that homelike taste that is well-known in the Philippines. My husband and I usually get one of the chicken buckets - 6 pieces of chicken, gravy, mashed potatoes/fries, peach pies. The chicken is hot, crispy, flavorful, and juicy. Gravy has just the right amount of thickness. Mashed potatoes is light. You can definitely tell it was done themselves as there are still a bit of chunks in it. The peach pies are amazing. The pies are made with phyllo dough coated with cinnamon and sugar which matches perfectly with the slight sourness of the pieces of peaches with its own sauce inside. Everything always given hot and housemade. The only way I knew it was housemade is because last time I was there, they ran out of the peach pies. So they had to make more as I hear the asking about as to where the peaches are and if they have anymore. Love it all. Nothing heavy on the seasoning. Never gone into a food coma as often can happen. Service is amazing. Never had any complaints to the workers. Always welcoming with gratitude. Amongst all of my Filipino friends, this is the Jollibee they are willing to go to regardless of how far they have to drive. read more

Let me start by saying that I was SOOO excited to hear that Jollibee was going to Kapolei, just a short 5 minute drive from home. This is the 2nd location on island to have a Jollibee drive thru, which to me is kind of a big deal, considering the only other place I ever saw a Jollibee drive thru (prior to Jollibee Kalihi) was in California. Anyways, this Jollibee is more on the "high end" look compared to the other Jollibee locations on island. The interior feels a lot more modern in a sense, and the exterior decoration (specifically the plants on the wall) is a different look I haven't seen from Jollibee before. The food is GOOD. Of course, I may be a little bias considering who my other half is... BUT I have always been a fan even before we got together. My personal favorite breakfast menu item is the tocino. If you were to ask me which meal to eat for dinner or lunch, definitely a tie between the Spaghetti, Palabok, or Chicken. Thirsty? Get a pineapple drink. So so yummy. It is a personal fave for me and all my 3 younger siblings. Occasionally Jollibee does have a few limited addition items, or new items that are added to the menu. I actually tried the Tuna Pie today which was surprisingly REALLY GOOD. I would also recommend trying the Adobo Rice. Even if you just get the Adobo Rice by itself, it is enough to suffice if you are only a little hungry. Still hungry for dessert? Choose a peach mango pie or Halo Halo. :) read more

I get my order delivered from Grub hub because I am working. And only the chicken is delivered, I speak with Grub Hub and they say NO I have to call Jollybe because it is their menu. I haven't eaten all day and decided to go to Jollibee to get a meal for the family. I was really looking forward to the spicy chicken sandwich, but low and behold when I got home, it wasn't in there.
