I like Jollibee fried chicken and their pineapple drink. This location is consistent with their other locations. I usually get their two piece chicken with one side and drink deal. It's $7.49 here. The last time I got this combo at the Ala Moana location it was $6.99. I'm not sure if the prices are different at the different locations, or if the prices just went up. Their fried chicken is crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The pineapple drink is on the sweet side, which I like. I just can't get used to Filipino spaghetti. They use sweet banana ketchup instead of meat sauce. It must be an acquired taste. The stand alone restaurant at this location is big, bright, and clean. Halohalo dessert... yum! I'm hardly ever in the Kapolei area, so I don't know when this location of Jollibee opened. So, when I saw it, I immediately wanted a halohalo - it's shaved ice with lots of goodies at the bottom (sweet beans, gel, shaved coconut, kernels of corn or other combinations) and topped with a scoop of ube ice cream, jackfruit ice cream, and custard! Yum! Just mix everything together and enjoy! The parking is easier than the Dillingham location and the interior seems more spacious and cleaner! The service was very helpful and friendly! The drive through is very convenient and stays open one hour later than the restaurant! I like Jollibee's fried chicken! It's crispy, has the perfect seasoning and tends to always be fresh. I like it much better than KFC and Popeyes, which is more oily and a lot saltier in my opinion. I also love their yum burgers with cheese - the patty is thin but there's something about it that tastes really good! It's a no frills traditional fast food cheeseburger with a tasty twist from the sauce. I'm not a fan of the spaghetti, and the palabok is just ok - nothing special, just fast food quality. Based on customer service. Decided to go through the Drive-thru since the line was short for once. Ordered a 10 pc Original Chicken and 16 pcs of Spicy Chicken. The cashier gave us a heads up that it was going to be a 15 minute wait for the spicy chicken and we were fine with that. She gave the rest of our ordered and instructed us to park. Fifteen minutes passed and we saw an elderly worker come up with 2 bags. We figured that the bigger one had to be ours since we were waiting on 16 pcs of chicken. We waved the lady down as we saw her circling the parking lot and gave the smaller bag to another vehicle. We told her that we were waiting for 16 pcs spicy chicken and she shrugged us off saying "I'm looking for RGM". Mind you, our license plate starts with RGW. She continued walking around the parking lot and again, we told her we are car is RGW and that we were waiting for a 16 pcs spicy chicken. But, she insisted that it is for RGM. she didn't even bother to look at the paper that states 16 pcs spicy chicken. My husband had to explain that this order is for us and she still was hesitant to give it to us because it said RGM on the bag. My husband called the store and spoke with the supervisor to explain what happens so they could avoid confusion for other customers in the future and the supervisor didn't seem to care to take our advice. We told her that it would make more sense for them to reprint the receipt with the order number or at least write the entire license plate number on the bag so the worker doesn't need to walk around the parking lot aimlessly. The supervisor should be ashamed of herself for telling us that they are short-staffed. I've worked for a fast food establishment and healthcare facility and I was told to never use "short-staff" as an excuse for providing the best customer service. Went around 345pm on a Monday, and the drive-through was totally empty drive. Ordered the 3 piece spicy combo and spicy chicken sandwich. And they got my combo wrong. I checked my order and it seemed a bit odd that they didnt put the toothpick notating "spicy" and I wasn't sure if this location was the same as the one in town where they actually put the toothpick. Wow... I finally went to jollibee! I was always under the impression that they served only spaghetti, I'm not a fan of Filipino spaghetti as I find it way too sweet. As I was looking at the menu board in the drive the hamburger steak caught my attention. I whipped out my yelp app & lots of yelpers recommended it so I decided to order it - and of course I had to get a side of chicken that everyone speaks of so highly. I really enjoyed the hamburger steak, it came with a side of your choice so I opted for mash potatoes. It's REALLY good! Hate to say but I enjoyed it more than L&L & Zippys! Whenever I'm craving some halo halo this is my go to !!!! But today I left feeling "cheated" or "ripped off". LOL Don't get me wrong they have (in my opinion) the BEST halo halo with that said my visit today thru their drive thru made me leaving with the HMMMM?. As you can see in my photos they didn't fill it up to the rim or even close to it. And I believe they raised their prices also. Almost $6 for it. I'm sure it was just an off day for them. I've been on a fried chicken hunt for a while. Popyes spicy used to be my fast food favorite until I tried Jollibee. Their chicken is kind of a middle ground between KFC and Popyes, in terms of crunchyness. The flavor of Jollibee is superior. I only come here when I am craving Pinoy Spaghetti which is at least once every two months. I mostly use the drive thru and when I do, there's always a long line which is good for business. But sometimes even when there's no long line in the drive thru, line is moving so slow. Unlike McDonald's, JB do not have parking area. It be nice to have a parking area for customers waiting for orders to keep the line moving. Note to self, I should start using the non drive thru option especially they have a plenty of parking. My go to order is Bucket B which comes with 6 fried chicken, family pack spaghetti, and 3 peach pies. My wife and I had the chicken sandwiches and we both thought the chicken was good but the rolls were a little on the stale side. We purchased two meals and just one sandwich and the total was $33. Their fries are similar to that of McDonald's but better. The fries are good and crunchy. They only offer drive thru for now which is fine! I wanted to take my food home. Food was really affordable for everything I got I think I paid like around $38 for a lot of food. I got the palabok which was so good. It consists of the clear noodles with a creamy sauce and pieces of meat on top, pieces of shrimp and two slices of boiled eggs. For those unfamiliar, Palabok is a thin rice noodle dish (bihon in Filipino, maybe vermicelli to some) topped with chicharon, smoked fish (tinapa), shrimp, hard boiled egg slices and an orange sauce which is supposed to be shrimp sauce -- not to worry on the shrimp sauce because it ain't shrimpy at all. We topped the meal off with their Peach Mango Pie -- Jollibee's version of the competitor's apple pie. It's my husband's first time tasting it and voted for "Peach Mango Pie" all day! Other food recommendations from their menu is their Halo halo, and for the ones who like sweet spaghetti, they have Jolly Spaghetti with Chicken combo as well. My family and I came here today and were so excited to eat Jolliebee. However, the drive through wait was so long and the employee taking our order was inept and slow. She kept on leaving and saying wait a second and then she would still get our order wrong. Then they did not have what we wanted and we had to repeat our order multiple times. The food was tasty, the service was fast & friendly, and the location was as clean and welcoming as one could want. Unfortunately, they no longer sell the ube pearl cooler, which I'm told is a great loss as it was evidently quite delicious. The wrapper around my burger did have more than a fair amount of grease; however, I attribute that more to the freshness of the meal rather than it having sat around under a heat lamp drying out. I should've known just to say, "No thanks, cancel that part of my order," when the drive-thru clerk said that a chicken item was taking an extra 10 minutes, but I wasn't given the option to cancel. When I went to the second window to pay and get my food I was given everything but that particular chicken item and told to park anywhere in the lot, and the rest of my food would be brought out to me. First, how are you going to know which car belongs to what order when I just park anywhere? (Maybe they have cameras? I still don't know how that would work.) So I anxiously wait almost 20 minutes for the food to be brought out, wondering how they'll know which car is mine. Then, I go inside, with my daughter in tow, to check on my order thinking they couldn't find me. It is still not ready. I wait another 10 minutes inside, and the item is finally ready.
