This place gets busy, which tells you that it's good! From the spring rolls served with peanut sauce to the pad thai noodles to the bbq chicken...everything was delicious! Oh, and the Tom-Ka soup was so yummy! They appeared to be shorthanded, but she did the best she could. The tasty food made up for the slow service. Would definitely be back. The place is roomy enough. It accommodates latge and small groups.

We've been going here ever since I was a kid and it's truly a family favorite and staple restaurant! The food is always such a comfort and Jenny is always super friendly and has been serving us for as long as I can remember! My mom's favorites are Dearest Crab and Beef Satay and comes with such a good and big portion that leaves you super full and with leftovers to take home! Their crab fried rice is one of our favorites and pork jerky as well. We'll be coming here for many more years to come!

Our Family's all time favorite thai bbq! Beef satey is a must order every time with tom kha & pad see ew! They have a slight make over on their menu, we couldnt find pad see ew, we asked our server and turned out they change the name but she forgot to tell us which is it, i guess it could be the drunken noodles?! Lol Well as long as she got our order right when i said pad see ew The place is clean but the only thing is the space is not very big. But we still love this place coz of the food!!!

Upon entering we were greeted and seated right away. The venue is clean altho it's an old building and a bit run down. Just a few tables were occupied, but we did go there for lunch on a weekday. Onara took our orders and she was very helpful and brought us to go cups for our drinks. Thanks Onara! My friend ordered lunch special bbq pork ribs with side of egg fried rice and salad. I ordered meatball noodle soup with beef briskets which is a lot like pho but has a slightly sweeter taste to it. It was warm and hit the spot. My soup has lots of beef briskets which I appreciates. We were also served a small cup of warm cabbage soup in beginning which was just right. We also ordered Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee. I was told there's free refill to thai iced coffee. No dessert this time since I'm on a diet. Aheem... lol The bathroom is a unisex and clean but they ran out of paper towels so I grabbed a couple on my way out. Theres music playing in the background. I think I remember Lady Gaga singing. They had a special for a free fried rice with any entree but you have to join their members club, which I chose not to. Thank you Thai BBQ!

We've eaten the food from here for years and it has always been consistently delicious. We dined in for the first time and it was even better! The service felt very homey. Inside is obviously not the newest, modern restaurant but it was very clean. We got the sa-te lunch special, only around $15. We usually get the same things to-go & it's already the best but having it fresh out of the kitchen was even better!

I came here for lunch by myself during the week. The waitress was very friendly and seated me immediately. I opted to get the bbq chicken lunch special that comes with egg fried rice, a soup, and salad. Everything was delicious. I also ordered a thai iced tea because I always must have one when I eat at a thai restaurant and I finished it so fast it was so good. I would love to come back and try their noodle dishes as that's what I usually order at thai restaurants but couldn't pass up trying their bbq if its in their name! The meat was tender and juicy and sauced perfectly. The sauce that comes on the side was a too sweet for me, I think I would've preferred a vinegar or sour sauce on the side to balance, but the chicken itself didn't need the sauce anyway. I would definitely stop by if you have the chance!

We tried Thai BBQ Original Restaurant on Jones and had a great experience from start to finish. First off, there's plenty of seating inside and parking was easy -- which is always a plus in Las Vegas. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome without hovering. The food came out fresh and in generous portions. We ordered the House Pad Thai, Beef Sate, Chicken Wings, Crab Fried Rice, Pad Se Ew, and Shrimp Yellow Curry. The House Pad Thai was well seasoned and balanced -- savory with just the right touch of sweetness. The Pad Se Ew had a nice texture and good noodles, though it tasted a little on the bland side compared to the Pad Thai. It almost felt like some seasoning might've been left out by accident, but still enjoyable overall. The Shrimp Yellow Curry was one of the standouts. The shrimp were cooked perfectly -- not rubbery at all -- the potatoes were tender, and the mild heat level was spot on. Comforting and flavorful without being overwhelming. Beef Sate was tender and clearly well marinated, with great flavor throughout. The chicken wings were crispy on the outside and juicy inside -- exactly how they should be. And the Crab Fried Rice was packed with flavor and topped with a generous amount of crab meat, which we appreciated. Overall, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Solid flavors, good portions, friendly service, and easy parking -- we'll definitely be back.

Saw this restaurant on TIKTOK and added to my list to visit. I was excited to try out this place and wow was I extremely disappointed. We order the BBQ chicken with fried rice and BBQ RIBS with fried rice. The meat was literally boil and threw on the grill for grill marks with American bbq sauce smothered on top. This is not "authentic Thai bbq."

Being from LA and visiting Las Vegas, I often crave Asian food after a few days of eating American food (my fellow Asians know what I'm talking about!!) We were recommended this Thai restaurant from a family friend and as a table of 5 hungry people, we just about ordered the whole menu! We were greeted by a kind server who sat us quickly, the restaurants interior looks a bit old, but its clean and quiet. We ordered the Tom Kha and Tom Yum soup. The Tom Kha is richer because of the coconut milk, but still tasted light, sour, spicy, and not overly salty! Highly recommend pouring some soup over rice, addicting! We ordered Chicken Satay and Beef Satay for the table as appetizers. I equally enjoyed them both! They both had nice charred grilled marks, juicy tender meat. Both accompanied by really good peanut sauce. The peanut sauce they have isn't watered down or too thick. The BBQ Chicken was good. It had a sweet, salty, asian red bbq flavor. It came with two pieces, a bone in chicken breast, and a bone in chicken thigh. The chicken breast was dry (understandable cause it's a leaner cut of chicken) and the thigh was juicy. For main dishes we ordered Pad Thai, Chicken Larb, and Cha Cha Fish. I don't have any bad things to say about any of the dishes! The flavors stood out, the food wasn't oily, and I didn't feel bad the next day! (Typically if I eat food with too much sodium or fat I feel sick the day after). I also ordered the summer rolls as an appetizer! I wanted to incorporate more veggies. There were bell peppers, lettuce, carrots, and cucumbers. 10/10! Fresh veggies, no noodle as filler, and the dipping sauce was a light peanut sauce, different then the peanut sauce used for the satays! I'd definitely come back here again when I'm back in Vegas!!

    S1. BBQ Chicken Dinner
    Row P.

Dinner here at Thai BBQ a recommendation from an IG post we recently seen about one of their House Specials the S1 - BBQ Chicken. We had to check it out. We ordered their S1 BBQ Chicken dinner special for two people for $25 (fried rice and bbq chicken served as is no choosing specific chicken pieces) and the SA-TE Chicken and Beef combination. Being allergic to shell fish I'm glad they were able to make the fried rice an egg fried rice instead of shrimp fried rice. The food came out hot and fresh. The BBQ Chicken with their homemade red sweet sauce was tasty. Every piece was evenly balanced with the sauce. Extra sauce was given on the side. The Egg Fried rice was good. The SA-TE Chicken and Beef combination with the cucumber jalapeño salad and the peanut sauce was perfect and good. Clean dining room and friendly service. We will be back again to try other dishes.

    Thai iced tea

This hole-in-the-wall restaurant has been one of my parents' favorites since we moved to Las Vegas over 20 years ago, but I was disappointed in the quality of the food this time around. The restaurant had nice renovations done and got busy after we sat down. What we ordered, in celebration of Mother's Day, looked picture-perfect, but everything came out at different times, food wasn't fresh & hot (in temperature), even the fried rice tasted different for it was mushy & more on the wet-side. Out of all the dishes, the summer rolls tasted the best with that delicious peanut sauce and can never go wrong with Thai iced tea. Thank you for the service, but definitely wasn't the same.

Despite of the selections, we usually go with our go-tos. We couldn't ask for a better meal. Everything was delish with a few exceptions. 1. Panang Curry lunch special that comes with soup, salad, wonton, and rice - taste and flavor were just okay, but portions were quite adequate 2. Baa Mee Hang - amazingly tasty, but portions were small 3. Papaya Salad with shrimp - wonderfully put together with fresh quality ingredients, tasted great with mild spice made just right, it comes with 4 huge shrimps, wished it came with 6 huge shrimps 4. Pad Thai with chicken - one of the best dishes! SO GOOD!! 5. Pad Woon Sen with chicken - I originally asked for seafood, but got chicken instead which was fine. Glass noodles became mushy towards the end. They need to use a different brand of glass noodles that's a bit firmer. 7. Stuffed Chicken Wings - surprisingly good, love the crispiness of the skin, seasoning was quite flavorful, came with 2 wings, 3 wings would have been better 8. Thai Iced Tea - PERFECT! Must get every time. 9. Thai Iced Coffee - good, not too sweet 10. Coconut Cream Ice Cream - a must get delectable dessert to end our meal, SO YUMMY! Each dish averaged about $20+ or so. Bill came and it was a whopping $140+ before tip. After tip, it was $170.00 out the door. Yes, big delicious meals come with a price! It's always well worth it. Highly recommend Weera Thai!

Consistently delicious, well-executed Thai food combined with a relaxed neighborhood-bar vibe makes it pretty irresistible. Wonderful aromas, even better flavors. I also love that Le Thai has separate lunch and dinner menus, plus a happy hour with some genuinely good values. I moved here from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where back in the day we had a stellar Thai restaurant called Bangkok Orchid. Off-menu, they served a dish the chef called "Waterfall Beef": marinated grilled steak with sticky rice and an intensely spicy dipping sauce made with fish sauce, Thai chilies, lime juice, and a touch of tamarind or brown sugar. Lo and behold, Le Thai has an appetizer called Waterfall Beef. It's very similar. The sauce here is a little less fiery, but that's easily remedied with some extra heat from Le Thai's spice tray. For me, it's a little taste of nostalgia and one of my favorite things on the menu. A few other favorites: Larb - Ground chicken or pork with cilantro, red and green onion, lime juice, and Thai chili, served with green leaves for wrapping. $14 Papaya Salad (Som Tum) - Fresh shredded green papaya tossed with Thai chili, garlic, carrot, tomato, and lime, topped with toasted peanuts and served with sticky rice. $13 Three Color Curry - Le Thai's blend of red, yellow, and green curry with vegetables. $16/18 And if you're in a hurry, grab a seat at the bar. You can order from the full menu--and have yourself a delicious cucumber gin cocktail while you're at it. Great food, great value, and about as far from the pretense of the Strip as you can get. I've been back again and again for a reason. Don't just try one dish--work your way through the menu.

a really cute thai place with great food and service! excited to come back and try more :)…read moreaccidentally went carb crazy and got pad see ew, pad thai, and the famous short rib fried rice. overall the food was good but the service was also really great! my server always checked if we needed things or water and was super friendly. others also chimed in if things were okay which was nice. the menu is super big and they seem to have a good happy hour and lunch menu so im already planning on my next trip back! the pad see ew with beef unfortunately didnt have egg, and was decent. 8/10 the pad thai was really good! the 3/5 spice was a bit much for me though as i am spicy sensitive. 9/10 the short rib fried rice was totallyyy worth the hype, i was not expecting that. it melted in your mouth and had a really good portion of meat for fried rice. 10/10 !! for dessert i got roti which is usually my fave and it was a bit odd? lol. i guess i didnt realize that the "thai omelet" part was genuinely like some scrambled egg on top haha. i still ate it but it was definitely interesting. 6.5/10

This place does a great job on Thai curry. I know many reviews will say "the curry was good"…read morewithout any details, but let me give you the details. -They seem to use actual whole spices in the curries, you'll see flecks of coriander and lemongrass and such. I suspect they make their own curry paste. -The curry flavors are REALLY well balanced. Someone or some people with very good cooking sense are making their recipes and cooking. -Massaman curry is hard to get right, but theirs has the perfect mix of umami, tangy, sweet, salty. -Yellow curry can often be really bland and just like sweet coconut milk at other restaurants, but the yellow curry at Panna Thai is intense and chock-full of spices (you can see the spice pieces in it, probably coriander and other things) and it's one of their best curries, really excellent balanced and flavorful taste -They take care to prepare the vegetables well, and the pumpkin in the pumpkin curry has the perfect texture, the eggplant is very soft and melt-in-your mouth, I've never had bad vegetables in their curries -The coconut milk is very rich and thick and the curries are thick (not just like water) -Each curry tastes like what it's supposed to taste like and they all taste very different. I think the best taste is in the yellow curry, Massaman curry, red curry, and pumpkin curry. The curries are not oily, no layer of oil or little drops of oil, and don't seem to have seed oils in them (we asked and were told the curries are a good dish if you want to avoid seed oils) -The curries are consistently good and I've had them maybe 15x between dine-in, trying my husband's food, and delivery -- been great every time -The curry fillings are good -- chicken is tender, they include lots of vegetables, the pumpkin in the pumpkin curry is melt-in-your-mouth -They add the things that are supposed to be included in authentic curry (like Thai basil for the red curries, fish sauce, etc.) -They are accommodating to allergies and dietary preferences -They'll actually make the curry spicy if you request it, I have a high spice need/tolerance and this is one of the only places that will make it taste spicy to a level where I can feel it if I ask for their highest spice level -The jasmine rice is the best of anywhere I've eaten in Vegas -- so fresh, so bouncy/springy, high-quality rice grains, clearly handled well and rinsed prior to cooking, cooked perfectly every time I've had it. It's a big part of the experience of curry to have bouncy, high-quality jasmine rice to contrast with he creaminess of the curry, and this place does a great job with it. -The portions are large and I almost always take some home, delivery portions are pretty large, too There are only 3 Thai places in Vegas that I can say that about, and this is the only one in SW Vegas that I've found to be like this. the service is also great and you actually feel like a guest there. they have little extra touches like real candles. they do a great job with refilling water, lemon in your water, mints by the door, lots of extra touches. above-par Thai restaurant, please support them! and try the curries! I think most people would enjoy their yellow, Massaman, and pumpkin curries.
