We were very excited to find out about this second location!! But sadly we were a bit disappointed there was no palabok, adobo rice, or the mango-pineapple juice everyone at the Tukwila location was raving about. The spaghetti also looked like it was just thrown in a box that was too big. However, the chicken was extra large and fresh which was nice. Hopefully next time they will have the palabok at least!! We waited a bit to come so it would not be so crowded but we're excited to try this place out! I had the chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato and my husband had the two piece meal with a side. His also came with a biscuit and he chose Mac and cheese for his side. My sandwich was very juicy and perfectly cooked!! I am glad I asked for the sauce they use on the side because I did not end up liking it. The fires were crisp and the bite of Mac I stole from my husband was nice and cheesy. To start, the first chicken sandwich was ordered as a deluxe, but ended up coming with zero toppings, so we got that remade no problem. As we were eating the one of the other two chicken sandwiches we ordered, we looked down only to realize it was RAW. We went in for a promo they have going on, we even showed proof of the promo. First they said the promo ended three days ago, then we went and showed them a receipt from our relative who just got the promo not even an hour ago and then they changed their answer to "oh it finished 30 minutes ago." I visited the new Tacoma Mall Jollibee location on day 2. I love when a place is busy and the staff is enjoying the controlled chaos. There was a short wait outside 10 min or less before placing the order and then waiting with an old school restaurant beeper that flashes & buzzes when your order is ready. The employees were smiling and their leaders were expediting orders and managing the crowd. Beautiful smiles all around. Great experience today! The chicken sandwich deluxe was so moist & tender. I opted for a premium side of spaghetti that must of just been prepared. It was so good!! I had a drumstick that was meat fall off the bone goodness! And some pieces for lunch tomorrow. Had to give this place a try since we have our own Youtube channel and because the people that we follow on Youtube have reviewed it and loved it. They are brand new to Washington state and located in the Tacoma Mall complex. I was curious to see if the chicken would differ from other places like KFC or Ezelle's or Chik fil a. The chicken was really tasty and on par with other places but I can't say they stand out above the rest. I did try their spaghetti and the meat sauce is sweet. I'm still not sure if I like it or not but then again, I don't care much for pasta in the first place so maybe I'm not the right person to critique it. I did really enjoy their pineapple drink. That was the best part of the whole meal but what blew me away was the prices. The footprint of this location is very small and seating is limited so keep that in mind but for what you get, the value is still present at Jollibee. Not sure what all the hype is about this establishment but the reviews from others are all wrong. This place failed big time in my book. For starters it's too small to dine inside and is very noisy; better off taking the order out and eat elsewhere. The service was fast as any other fast-food place and the staff was courteous, but that's as far as it goes. The food was not tasting good and the prices are comparable to other fast-food places. I ordered a 10 piece chicken bucket with 2 mango/peach pies & 1 Ube pie, 1 burger steak, 1 pineapple drink, fries, mashed potatoes with gravy, mac-n-cheese, & 1 adobo rice for a party of 3 people. Now for the results: the rice tasted pretty good although it was overcooked. The fries tasted like they were fried in old oil and didn't taste good. The fries tasted like the same type found at other fast-food establishments. The burger steak also know as a Salisbury steak was of miniature size and tasted like fake beef almost like a banquet brand Salisbury steak (definitely not good). The gravy for the burger steak tasted like that of KFC (YUK!). The mac-n-cheese was only fair and bland plus a bit on the mushy side similar to what Popeyes offers (it needs more real cheese in it not the imitation stuff). The pineapple drink was too watered down with no pulp like what real pineapple juice would have. mashed potatoes tasted like KFC and with double the size of gravy. The fried chicken consisting of dark meat (legs & thighs ) tasted of old meat like what day-old chicken would look and taste like. (dry, but not oily like what KFC does to their chicken). There was no specific seasoning on the fry portion or in the chicken itself that would distinguish it being better than what KFC, Churches, or Popeyes chicken would offer. It was literally bland. Where's the seasoning? Finally, the peach/mango pies tasted like hostess style pies (nothing fancy) except a little more crispiness to them but with less filling. One of the pies had very little filling. The Ube Pie tasted really nasty. I don't think Jollibee's knows what Ube is suppose to taste like. Jollibee's might be excellent place over in the Philippines but it's not good at the Tacoma and South Center locations (Although the South Center locations is 50% better but not worth driving an hour to get to for this type of food. I didn't try the Filipino style spaghetti because I don't like banana ketchup on pasta; I prefer real pasta sauce mixed with veggies and if Jollibee can't get the other fast food items done properly I bet the spaghetti noodles would be mushy over cooked and not "al-dente". Consequently, I won't return to this location but might visit the other location If I am in that area. read more

Today is Thanksgiving and I went in there sat there for about 2530 minutes. Mind you I made an order about 10 minutes before and it said it would be ready within that time. I sat waiting then I proceeded to keep sitting there because the lady didn't even put my food on the pick up rack, so when I go up there and give the guy my receipt, he's walking around the kitchen acting like he doesn't know where my order is whole time before he had went to the kitchen I had explained to him I think that's my order on the side of the Desk I ordered quite a bit of food. I've been to Jollibee in the Philippines before, however when the first Jollibee came to my town in the US, I was taken aback by how similar everything seemed to that time when I went there in the Philippines a few years ago. There are some items that are sadly not available here in America, but the ones that are available are some of the best choices to get here, so it's a win-win restaurant in my book. When I was told that this restaurant was basically a mix between Chick-fil-A and KFC, after I visited for the first time on grand opening day, I was pleasantly surprised that yes it actually did taste like a mix between Chick-fil-A and KFC in a good way. I really do think that the restaurant is on a good track to do well here in my town, every day I drive by it it's got a line that goes outside the door. Came in with my fiancé because we wanted to try the spicy chicken sandwich for the first time. We ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches, mashed potato and gravy, and a peach mango pie. Service was great, they were super fast. I do feel the chicken sandwiches have been sitting under the warmer for awhile and wasn't at all fresh. I'm not sure if we came at the wrong time of the day?
