This Jollibee was my go-to Jollibee. I have been impressed in the past with their quick service and fairly clean restaurant but not sure if that is the case anymore. When I visited here recently; I noticed the restaurant not as clean as before. Several tables were not clean despite it not being busy & some customers ended up having to wipe the tables themselves. This was not the worse thing I observed though. There was one thing I noticed that really made me want to update my previous review as was so disappointed with what I saw. I had ordered spaghetti and was eating at the restaurant and noticed one customer pick up his order. It was for takeout and so he picked it up and left. A few minutes back he came back inside the restaurant and seemed to have a some complaint about his chicken joy. The Jollibee employee at the front took his order, opened it and replaced the chicken for the customer. What was surprising and disappointing was what happened after. The employee took the chicken joy that was returned and put it back to in the tray with the new chicken to be served to the other customers! I really didn't think this was sanitary considering another customer had already taken that order (and took it outside). I don't think it was right that the employee that returned chicken back into with the ready to be served tray of chicken. Who knows what was wrong with that chicken or what happened to it when it was taken outside? For some poor future customer to get a returned chicken is just not good. I was in the middle of eating my food and just seeing this gave me an unpleasant feeling. I had really liked this Jollibee but now I think their service now needs some improvement in terms of cleanliness. It is really not good to have employees put back chicken that was returned from one customer back into a tray to be served to other customers. Beautiful location. Parking isn't a problem at all. Customer service was wondering and welcoming. Restrooms were very clean. The chicken tenders could be better if they were cooked a little longer. The original chicken sandwich was a hit. The fries were very good because they don't drown them in salt and the mango peach pie was so good, it would bring you back again and again. I have tried Jollibee in many parts of the world! the latest was in Times Square New York City! i must say they are very consistent with the quality of the World Famous ChickenJoy! Crispy and tasty! I bought the Deluxe Angus burger and I had to park in a waiting space because they said that the burger was a special order. When I got the burger it wasn't even hot, it was luke warm. Also the fries were cold. I went to ask for a hot order of fries the doors were locked and no one would come to the door even though I was holding the bag with the cold fries. My family and I went to this restaurant on 12/07/24 and ordered a few different things. Two of those items were the raw spicy chicken sandwiches. (See pictures). We had already taken off and when my Uncle bit into the sandwich, the first bite tasted a little strange to him. After he had already swallowed that first bite, he took another bite which he had to spit it out, turn the light on in the car & that's when we seen the rawness of the undercooked (NOT EVEN COOKED) chicken. Won't be back. Serious operational issues. My dine in order took a half hour to get. In case you are craving fried chicken or chick fil a and wanting to give Jollibee a try, proceed at your own risk. The food itself was fine once I got it, but considering fried chicken is premade, there is no reason for it to take so long. All the chicken was right in front of my face. There was plenty of it. Put it in a bucket so I can leave!!! Running an efficient fast food business is not easy as evidenced here. Further respect for McDonald's. The employees here are all so nice and were all giving 100% but they're just not set up for success. They seem to prioritize the drive thru customers first, while none of the tables I was waiting with inside had food. Most of the drive thru cars had to pull aside and wait in parking spaces after ordering too. When the workers are packing the food, I see them running around confused because things aren't where they are supposed to be. A customer would ask for sauce, but apparently the sauce isn't under the counter so the worker has to run to the back room. I asked for a knife, same thing. Forks were under the counter, but knives were somewhere else. Seriously? They gave me four napkins for a bucket of chicken. I ordered chicken tenders as part of my meal, but they didn't have any available. They didn't tell me until I checked on why my order is taking so long. She started putting together my order after I agreed to substitute the tenders for something else. However after she put my chicken the bucket, ADHD kicked in and she started prepping other orders while I was standing there at the counter. 5/1/2022 I've been to many Jollibees since my time but I have to say this is by far the best one! The dining area was clean, the workers there were super friendly, and the service was quick. In this particular visit I was tended to by a young lady named Nhelane who really made this experience as memorable as it was. She was very kind and understanding as I changed my order multiple times and remained calm and enthusiastic the entire time. Long Version: We had wanted to try Jollibee since we say them building the store next to In N Out on Hawthorne & Del Amo. So, when we drove by late Sunday afternoon and saw there was no line, we decided now was the time! I guess the lack of line should have told me something :( We used the drive thru and even after asking for time to look at the menu they repeatedly asked if we were ready to order yet. FYI there was no one waiting behind us! We ordered a 10-piece bucket meal that came with 3 lg sides & 6 pies to take home. It was only $25 which I thought was a great price until... .... we tasted the food: The chicken was terrible, the skin was so crunchy it fell off when you tried to bite into it. The meat itself was moist but very greasy and the overall flavor was bland & tasteless. I thought the gravy would help; it did not the gravy had some kind of weird taste that I can't really describe... I guess I would call it funky :( and not in a good way! This is the first time I haven't like gravy at a place! I didn't try the mash potatoes because they were covered in the awful gravy. The adobo rice was also bland and flavorless but a least it was edible. I can't describe the Peach Mango & Ube pies because they didn't put them in the bag!!! I decided to try Jollibee in Torrance since they built one in my community. I ordered the spicy chickenwich deluxe combo, which is supposed to be a spicy chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato, fries and a drink. I ordered from the drive thru, paid for my meal and was instructed to pull to the side to wait. I received my food and drove home in anticipation, only to find that I paid for a deluxe, but didn't get it! I was highly disappointed with the small size of the sandwich and the large amount of fries.I received. The sandwich was dry with little to no spice and the fries were old and cold. This will most likely be my last visit to Jollibee, I was really hoping for more. I'd had the chicken decades ago while in the Philippines and had a much better experience. read more

The kids had been begging to go to Jollibee since they'd heard so much about the Peach Mango Pies... so we decided to check this place out. Decided to do the drive through - which was fairly easy, and reasonably fast. We ordered Bucket C - which came with six pieces of ChickenJoy - super crispy, crunchy & juicy chicken, in decent sized portions, and gravy (which the kids explained, goes with the chicken) I was fascinated by the Palabok Fiesta Noodles (the reason why we chose bucket C), which was a really interesting plate of glass noodles, covered in a tomato type sauce, with shrimp, egg slices, ground beef, and some crunchies. Not sure what to think of it, but it was definitely unusual for us. The Peach Mango pie was good and the bucket order came with three of them. I nearly burned my mouth because I just kept eating it! I hate it when fried chicken is dry, but not here it isn't! I also got the spaghetti, which was good (spaghetti with hot dogs in a sweet marinara sauce), but the chicken definitely over shined it. I got the 1 pc chickenjoy spaghetti combo, but I wish I got the 3 pc chickenjoy with a side without the spaghetti. I also got a peach mango pie and it was a great finish to the meal. I came eagerly to try this place as i've heard great things about it. I got the 2 piece meal deal with jolly spaghetti and a mango peach pie. It comes with a breast and thigh along with the jolly spaghetti, gravy, and a biscuit. The fried chicken was flavorless. I ordered around 6 pm and that chicken tasted like it was done at 3 pm. If there was one way to describe it; i would describe it. by saying that the fried chicken tasted like boil chicken; soul less. The jolly spaghetti was okay; it tasted like your run of the mill microwaved spaghetti. Nothing special; nothing terrible. Just average. The biscuit was okay as well; a bit dry and lacking in texture. THe mango peach pie was above standard. It was probably the best thing in this meal. Not that that's saying much. It had good filling and decent flakiness from the crust. TO sum this up; i don't think i would ever come back and i don't think i would ever recommend it. It's what the ratings; below average. Jollibee is drive-thru full of joy when you're craving containers of ChickenJoy. A fun fried chicken, white meat or dark, in a sandwich if you so choose. They also make fun childhood favorites like the Jolly Spaghetti with sweet sauce made with chunks of hot dogs that makes me think of Sheldon Cooper...(any other Big Bang Theory enthusiasts??) They didn't have halo halo this time but I am dying to try it. Fortunately, either pie is a solid choice, and I recommend either or both. There's a pudding-like purple filling in the Ube Pie, and it's a little more sweet and tropical in the Peach Mango. I don't know what it is about Jollibee, but I like it! Located off Hawthorne Bl in Torrance. Right next to In N Out so drive thru for both businesses can be a mess of car traffic especially at peak eating times. The place itself just recently opened so it's very clean and nice inside. The staff really friendly and helpful. I got the 2pcs chickenjoy with jolly spaghetti both so yummy. Overall a good experience here only downside is dealing with the traffic in this area cause you got other businesses in the shopping center and a lot of car traffic in all different directions of this shopping center. I have struggled to find a fried chicken place that can taste as good as the KFC in East Asia until I tried out the ones from Jollibee! Also, do you miss McSpicy (not available in the US)? If so, I have got a solution for you. Try the spicy fried chicken (their original flavor is pretty delicious) from Jollibee and you would realize how this place can help satisfy your cravings. For those of you that don't know what I am talking about, no worries. To summarize, the fried chicken here are really juicy, crispy and tender. What does it compare to? Well, definitely not KFC in the US, because they don't even have spicy flavor . I would say the one that comes closest would be Chic-Fil-A. A couple of things is one, I wish was better is their own fried chicken sandwich, the chicken might be a little too dry. Therefore I would only recommend trying out their fried chicken. The other being that's it's really annoying how they would keep pushing original flavor to you (when they run out of spicy flavored ones, they would have to make more and it takes about 10 minutes, which I don't think is a big deal) I was asked to change my order to original flavored because they ran out of their Spicy ones 2 times throughout my drive thru experience, EVERY TIME. read more

I had heard about Jollibee from a friend so I decided to try the new one that just opened on Hawthorne Blvd. I ordered the 2 piece Chicken Joy combo with Polobo. The Polobo is clear noodles with some ground beef and a tasty sauce. It had a garlic flavor that was light and just enough to add a good flavor. The chicken pieces were broasted. Cooked in a deep fryer under pressure. The chicken just falls off the bone. I took it apart easily with just a plastic fork. The outside of the chicken was very crispy the way I like it. Torrance has not had this kind of chicken since the Chicken Factory cooked chicken the same way a long time ago. It was on Torrance Blvd but closed years ago. read more

I haven't been to a Jollibee in probably 20 years so I approached this visit like it was my first time. If you're unfamiliar with Jollibee, it's a Filipino fast food restaurant that is on par with McDonald's in terms of price, experience, and quality. The core of their menu is their fried chicken, but they also offer spaghetti, hamburger steak, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and a rice noodle dish called palabok (that includes meat, shrimp, and eggs). They also offer desserts such as fried fruit pies and a sort of shaved ice (that isn't yet available at this location). The whole menu is oriented toward a "chicken and..." approach where you can combo most of the items above with a piece of chicken and a dessert. I think that "chicken and..." approach is what really defines the whole value proposition at Jollibee. They don't have the best chicken or the best burgers compared to pure play chicken or burger joints, but they offer all of those things under one roof along with items that you can only find there. The restaurant is located along a busy stretch of Hawthorne Blvd immediately next to the In and Out burger shop. I went soon after the grand opening, so the combination of those things made the parking lot pretty chaotic. We went inside to order, and I was very impressed by how well it ran. You could tell that the workers were a little frazzled from being so new, but everything from the ordering to the fulfillment was very fast. read more

I've gone to Jollibee's in various US locations and in the Philippines. This new location is large and ha a drive-through. I don't recommend the drive-through as the wait can be long. Just park and go inside. It's a lot more satisfying. The are not yet serving halo-halo and I'm told they are awaiting installation of a preparation machine. It's right next to an In-N-Out that usually has very long lines. The car line to In-N-Out is clearly indicated so it would be difficult to get in the wrong line by accident (there's no getting out of an In-N-Out drive through line!! Jollibee is located in an outdoor mall and there is plenty of parking. I have never had to park more than fifty feet from their front door. read more
