We just did a move with Jones Moving and Storage this past weekend. It was 3 hard days of a complex move. Travis, the owner's son, was the foreman of the crew. Brian, Alex, Richie, Matt, John, Robby, and a young man who had just joined the company (sorry I didn't get his name) rounded out the group. We weren't expecting so many folks first thing Friday, but after a quick walk-through at the first location, everyone got down to work packing and moving. Everyone in the crew was attentive and willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. One of the main reasons for choosing Jones Moving, aside from the excellent ratings, was that they also have secure, climate controlled storage at their warehouse, which was needed for much of our large, and some antique, quality wood furniture. The crew was efficient, and the teamwork was evident and necessary to maneuver the largest pieces out of the house and on to the truck. They even accommodated our baby grand player piano. I did not have time to gather multiple estimates for this job, as it was emergent. I would guess Jones is not the least expensive company in town, but they have been around a long time (over 30 years), have a solid reputation, and hire excellent people. Be careful! There are a few "Jones Movers" in the valley. This is for http://jonesmoverz.com/. Make sure this is who you use!!! Jones Moving is honestly the best moving company I have ever used. I have used them for four different moves now and have never been more happy. I honestly don't understand where some of these one star reviews are coming from. I've used several different moving companies before and (no offense, but) I swear they are the scummiest people on the planet. Jones was not like that AT ALL. They were honest and up front about costs and very clear how long it would take and then charged me EXACTLY what I expected after the move. No shady "rounding" of their start and end times. No guy sitting around waiting in the truck while I was paying for all three and the other two did actual work. No holding our stuff ransom with outrageous prices. They didn't even ask for payment until all of our stuff was moved out of their truck and into our place, while I've dealt with other movers who like to hold all your stuff ransom and demand extra money. I don't know what else to say other than this is honestly one of the best companies I have had the pleasure of working with and I highly recommend them. read more

When we sold our vacation home in Surprise, AZ we had a closing date less than a month away. We searched frantically for a moving company that would pack, load & store our household items until we could find another house to buy. We talked with several movers. but none struck that friendly, flexible, family-oriented tone until we came upon Jones Moving & Storage. They were flexible enough where they would allow us to pack the things we knew we could handle prior to moving day, then they would come in do the big stuff on moving day. They did a pre-move evaluation and gave us an estimate price range, based on how much we intended to do before moving day. On moving day, they showed up early with their crew of very pleasant gentlemen. They went about their business in a professional manner and were done and gone by late morning. The price was near the low end of their estimated range, and the monthly storage cost is quite reasonable in comparison with other companies we talked to. During the whole process, Candace was a phone call away with all of the answers to our questions. I had used Jones moving 2 years ago for an in state relocation and was pleasantly surprised. So when it came to moving across the country, I instantly thought about using their services again. With such a big move I did contact other companies to price compare and Jones came out the best deal. They had put the offer in writing and I agreed to it, before they touched a single item in my house. Hurricane Hermine was on its way to hit where I was relocating. Steve the owner toughed it out and for everyone's safety we moved the delivery date to the next day. Constant communication with Candice and the delivery made my experience amazing. I was not asked to pay a penny more than the contract I signed in AZ. The AZ crew and the FL crew were friendly, professional, and took amazing care of my stuff. Nothing was damaged during the move and the FL crew even helped put up a section of my fence that was blown over from the hurricane. That was beyond the call of duty and they did it with a smile. I have moved many times over the years and this company, by far, met and exceeded my expectations. I was referred by my real estate agent and I am so glad she did. I like that the company is owned by a husband and wife for over 30 years and that their sons work with them. I have a large art collection and many pictures and I was downsizing from a 4500 sf house to a 2600 sf house. They not only helped pack my house but moved the entire place in less than 7 hours. Quoted me a price for the move but when it didn't take as long as expected, they charged me only for the time they worked. And let me tell you - these guys are hard workers! Hardly took a break even for lunch. And everyone had such great attitudes teasing each other and helping each other out. I have never seen a team of 6 guys work this well together. We shopped around to 3 prospective movers and received three quotes for our local move. We moved our 4000 sq ft home with moderate furnishings including a outdoor living space (which included (2) 1000 lbs clay potted palms.) Of the three bids, we had two professional sales people (Camelback and All my sons) give us bids grossly under estimating our furnishings weight and number of guys for the move in their estimates. The owner of Jones Moving met with us and was well mannered and professional and provided us with an estimate which included more weight and more personnel than the others, yet his bid was $500 less than the other bids. On Move Day, Jones showed up on time with 6 guys as expected. Nothing was damaged. The men worked fast to load, taking a 30 min break for lunch (standard). When we moved in the the guys were actually very helpful helping us decide the placement of our furnishings. Jones Movers proved they are no lolligaggers and their final bill was $350 less than their estimate. read more

AMAZING service & great moving experience!! They arrived RIGHT on time and called me 15 minutes before arriving, which kept me very much in the loop. Two great gentlemen helped move my stuff from my storage unit AND my old residence into my new apartment. My new apartment had no elevators and they managed to get everything up 3 flights of stairs all by themselves. NOTHING was broken or damaged during the move, and they were very very respectful with all of my belongings, which I really appreciated. Also- they had a very reasonable quote price, and when they were all finished, the bill was exactly what they quoted it to be. It took EXACTLY two hours to move everything, which is AMAZING. They really busted their butts to make my move as easy as possible and I cannot thank them enough. My review was just recently taken off, so I will repost for the sake of future customers. My move was exceptionally horrible, the movers were unprofessional, and as a counselor for troubled youth...I know the smell of alcohol and marijuana - and the men who came to move my belongings, were completely intoxicated! Jones moving claims to have three locations, but I have done major research after my move, and there are no such locations.To see for yourselves, call Jones moving, and ask to get an address of their Scottsdale and Surprise location, then drive there. Non-existent. If a "family owned business" will LIE about something as trivial as that, its a business not worth using. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! JONES MOVING IS FALSE ADVERTISING AND IS A JOKE! After my husband's death I decided it was time to sell the house and move,scheduled my move with a mover I'd used before but 5 days before I was to be out my mover cancelled me! I started calling every mover I could only to be told they needed more time. After reading reviews about Jones moving I gave them a call, not only were they willing to work with me, they had 2 options available. They arrived as scheduled, marked and loaded my items and delivered as promised, very professional, they knew how desperate I was and could have changed me more, but they were exactly within what my other mover was going to charge. I can't say enough about this company. We had 2 guys (I wish I could remember their names) who not only were early but worked their you know what off!! They are very very helpful and worked together like a well oiled machine. I feel they went ABOVE AND BEYOND what was expected or needed. In 2.5 hours they not only loaded up my daughter's apartment full of boxes, her furniture and they took her 60 tv off the wall put it safely in the box. Drove to where we're storing it and unloaded it into a Ramada and did so with taking extra care to minimize the space it was taking up. Jones Moving was recommended to us by my husband's coworker. My husband and I used them when we moved and have recommended and used them for my brother's move and twice for my mom. We continue to use them because they are great. They send the friendliest movers that take time to make sure everything is just where you want it. They are careful and make sure none of your items get broken. Most recently we used them to move my mom from Chandler to Phoenix/Ahwatukee. She couldn't say enough nice things about the movers. She was so happy that they took their time and never got irritated or annoyed with her. It made her move that much easier. I spent a few weeks looking for a moving company and was at my wits end. When I ran across the reviews on Jones, I just leapt. Mind you, I've done VERY large moves (6100 sq ft) with other movers, lost things, broke things, etc., and this was a simple 2 bedroom apartment but STILL I wanted quality and efficiency at a reasonable price. These guys did a phenomenal job! They moved my family 4 years ago and when it was time to move again I tried to book them but there was a scheduling conflict so I had to go with "Two men and a Truck". What a waste, they showed up and could not move us, so back to Jones we went. These guys where professional and fast, I can't thank them enough for all of their hard work. This company excels when serving their customers! We had an emergency come up just prior to our estimate appointment. A message was left for rescheduling. When we called him back to explain he offered to turn around and come back. Great attitude while meeting with us. He was able to explain his estimate so there would be no confusion. The workers who packed and moved us were fun and friendly. They worked hard and fast. They were also very careful with not only our possessions but with doorways and walls. Had these guys come out and move me into my new home - they had moved both of my sisters into respective new places as well. In my case, I was moving furniture and boxes from both my current house, as well as my girl friends house into our new one. They coordinated the move with two crews who converged on the new home, helped each other unload and get things set up. The guys were friendly, hardworking and considerate, and the price charged was very reasonable. Jones moving had 1 day to move a fully packed 2100 sq ft home into a 1000 sq ft home. The guys busted their butts and worked practically without even taking a break and were "Very" professional. They finished the job in one day and did everything we had asked. We had everything packed and ready to go and Jones moving crew came in and made it happen. Some of the best money I ever spent!!! Just moved in from Chicago in April. We loaded up the truck and rolled into the area on the 22nd. I needed some help with unloading our rental truck and get the furniture and boxes to our condo, 20 steps to the second floor. Not knowing the area or movers I did some research and saw Jones Moving had some great reviews. They did not disappoint us. They arrived ON TIME and in less than 2 hours all of the furniture was in place and boxes were ready to be opened. When we move again I will be sure to reach out to Jones Movers again read more
