I never got around to doing it because things snowballed around me. I spoke with my brother-in-law about the price and he told me to jump on it because it's a great deal. Finally had the chance to do it and I contacted him again.. on the original thread.. from last year. Whoa! He responded fast and gave a time window to be able to do it. Alex gave me a time that he'll arrive and kept me updated on his arrival time. We talked about what needed to be done, he showed me the materials and settled on the price. He told me it'll take about 2-3 hours and he went about it. I checked every so often on his progress and Alex was very thorough. He showed me the difference in color of my old headliner due to moisture and he also told me that newer cars don't have the same quality as my older ride. He stripped the old one off and was very mindful and tidy of his waste. In a few hours as promised, he was done. It looked great! It made me wonder why I never did it sooner. For years I put up with my old headliner drooping down, but not anymore! I had a minor issue (a plug not plugged in) so I called him and he showed up the next day. I can't rave about Alejandro enough. He was punctual, professional, and best of all.. a great price! He's mobile, so it's done at your place and how much more convenient is that? After years of going back and forth…read morewith Stoneridge Jeep and Jeep Cares trying to get my Jeep Grand Cherokee dash fixed--and getting absolutely nowhere--I was beyond frustrated and gave up. Jeep Cares knew about the Jeep Delaminating -X81 Warranty but has shown little concern--even after I explained that this is a serious safety issue, as it could prevent the airbags from deploying properly in the event of an accident. Definitely, they don't care and closed my case twice. I even reported it to 7 on Your Side but still nothing. They just referred me to the Bureau of Automotive Repairs. On top of that, I couldn't even find a shop willing to take on the job. Six years later... my driver seat torn so I found Craig's Auto Upholstery to repair the job and that came out awesome. Obviously, they saw my dashboard and advised me that they can also fix it. Craig's Auto Upholstery not only took it on, but absolutely exceeded my expectations. Victor was confident and went above and beyond--the original leather had become so hard and damaged that he had to create his own template from scratch. He carefully matched the vinyl and stitching so it looks just like the original, if not better. The process itself was no small job. An electrician had to remove the entire dashboard and then reconnect everything afterward, and it was all done seamlessly. The quality of the work is incredible--my dash looks amazing, like new again. You can tell they take pride in their craftsmanship and truly know what they're doing. And it only took Victor, Jorge and their Electrician a day and a half to complete the job making it seem like this was an easy project to them! After years of stress over this issue, it feels like such a relief to finally have it fixed the right way. If you've been struggling to find a shop that will actually take on a difficult job and do it right, this is the place. Highly recommend! Thank you Victor and Jorge! I booked a time with Scott and dropped the car off. He was very knowledgeable about the seat, told me to hold off on the passenger side for now and just deal with driver side as this problem might come back. He showed me exactly where the problem is after he took the seat cover off and repaired the seat perfectly, The price is super reasonable and I now know where to go for any upholstery issues. I noted a few color tones and the owner brought some samples down for me to review. Picked a fabric and that was it. Was told they'd text me when ready. Timing was a few days. Stopped in to pickup and only took a few min.. Enjoyed my interactions with the owner. Would take another project to them. Note- parking is tight in the lot along the bldg.. I may have parked in a spot for one of the other businesses there, but I was in-out quickly so no one hassled me.

On the blue section, and there was some over-spray and it has a yellowish green tint. It took him a few quick minutes to mix some dye and he didn't really spot check for match. I asked if he could match it better but he said it could make it worse. There was also over-spray. Frankie just blocks off the untouched spot by holding a piece of cardboard. It wasn't precision and care. Also, deep scratches could be sanded, smoothed and polished to match, but he doesn't go to this level of service. He just applies putty over it and lets you know it will leave a lump. However, the match on black was very good, almost perfect. But it felt rough due to the over-spray. Overall, I had expected a more precise hand polishing process and care for matching, but it was just quick spray paint. Deep scratches really didn't get resolved. The car is now a collectors item. I was hoping for a level of quality that matches the prestige. EDIT In response to the owner; I do not use Yelp much and do not write many reviews. But they are bad experiences that are memorable enough to share and I provided evidence (invoices and pictures) to support it. The owner's lack of accountability in his response should be a concern. I've had someone asking about his work the past few weeks (2025: 9 years later) and it prompted me to help this person and update the review and even tone it down a tad for the owner's benefit. 1 and 2. The pictures uploaded appear the same quality as the original but resized. Don't believe otherwise as the owner leads you to believe. Many of you have uploaded pictures and know this is is a lie. I believe Yelp will also dispute the owner on the quality of their site. 3. As for repairing scratches, I had no issues and mearly shared the level of service ($350 - in 2016 dollars) for the community, but the owner has a problem with me sharing it. 4. The car was just as pristine in 2016 as today 2025, 1,500 miles later. I have the invoices on the work, dated before Frankie's job. In fact, I should probably write a review on it since the owner seems to have a problem with me not writing good reviews, especially if it is redundant to many other good reviews. 5. The owner is lying about the date of the job and timing of my review. The job was done on 2/6/2016. My review was dated 5/7/2016. I moved away from the area June 2016 and was very busy with preparing for the move and finishing up my life there. 6. The owner claimed he could make it right, but as he mentioned during the job, he did not want to fix the mismatch. I had no reason to contact him further. I moved to a different area a few months later and had more important concerns than the owner's job and was fine with just writing a review. The owner needs to own it.
