Great food, great atmosphere and service was great, especially how busy they were. They even had a live band playing outside.

They seated us pretty quickly but the food took about 30-40 minutes to arrive after we ordered. Don't expect to get your food served quickly if that's what you're hoping for. read more

Full service inside with a full bar and tons of options for outside seating probably due to the proximity of the Joshua Tree National Park. This place will be really hopping on the warmer weekends. We got the Hatch chile burger and the Big Oink sandwich, both with fries, and they were REALL good. The prices are a tad on the high side, again I can only assume because of the touristy nature of the location. However the food was really good despite the cost. Worth it. It was a fun environment and since I sell homes and land out here it's a favorite spot for food anytime of day. read more

Didn't even get a picture...it was so damn good. Any burger is going to be top tier....pick the one that speaks to you. I chose the bbq bacon & it was a mouthful...even for me (a real eater) Went during the week after Memorial Day & the place had a moderate crowd. It is a hot walk up to the entrance, but they do well to keep the dining area cool & tinted from any sunlight. Service was speedy & satisfactory- meaning the food came out quick without diminishing quality & i didn't have to ask for my drink to be refilled. :) Also had the taquitos as an appetizer...we were hungry so they were bomb but their guac that it is served with is LEGIT. So maybe next time i would chips & guac & then try the Oink! read more

Food was great! We had the patty melt, black bean quesadilla, and wedge salad. Mike is not an attentive server. Took too long to greet/take drink order. He brought half of the food order to the table, not to return until it was time for the check. John was awesome and saw we were trying to wave down our server and took care of us for the rest of our time there. read more

Joshua Tree Saloon has a cool western and zany vibe that sets the scene for a fun outing. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by slow, poor service. Despite several servers on duty, none seemed to notice us or respond to our needs. The food took quite a while to arrive, but it was delicious. The onion rings were a standout--better than the fries--and the chicken tenders were good. The drinks were tasty, though a bit too sweet. You'll find this restaurant right at the end of the main road as you leave Joshua Tree. We've been to the national park multiple times and kept saying we'd stop here and finally made it happen. Food was a good 4 out of 5. The Patty melt was pretty good - a thick, juicy patty, and the dressing really brought the whole sandwich together. Crisp, crunches fries. A good, solid meal. Their cod fish tacos were also delicious. Each taco had a thick piece of fish - flaky, moist, and well-battered. These were both great picks for lunch. Their drinks, though, were not very good. Their sangria tasted super watered down and bland. The Honey Sweet Tea just had a bad overall flavor, and the iced tea and whiskey flavors did not mesh well at all. I assume if I got a beer it would've been fine, but that was a no for me for their mixed drinks. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors is super lively with good AC (great when it's super hot outside). They do have a pretty big outdoor seating that allows dogs, which is super nice. When we were there, though, they have no one serving outside, and the area smelled pretty strong of garbage. So definitely not an incentive to return. This would not be my first place to stop, especially if I was looking for something to drink. But if you've had a long day at Joshua Tree NP and just need a place to eat, this is a solid stop for food. read more

First time, hey it was crazy busy on a weekday lunch. The Hostess was exceptional considering our seating with our service dog, without any prompting. Our experience over all was perfect, the food was served hot and correctly, there were no empty glasses or dishes left. I had an excellent time today at the JTS. The service was truly outstanding, I had a great conversation with a young couple doing the "van life "thing, and got to meet the daughter and co owner of the place. Food: 6/10. Very typical saloon / bar food! We ordered the Bbq Bacon burger, coyote burger, and bbq chicken sandwich. The burgers were huuuuuge. I barely ate half of mine and was able to take my leftovers to-go. The fries were super good and crispy!!! They went perfectly with ranch on the side. They didn't have any Pilsners on tap so I ordered a Fresh Spring Mojito. The drink was not mixed too well, so I could taste the tequila very strongly. The Cowgirl Gunslinger was suuuuuper sweet. Service: 7/10. We got seated very quickly but our waiter took a little bit to come check on us and take our order. Ambiance: 7/10. Typical bar / saloon ambiance. Amazing - this is easy - Nicole deserves a shout out for her professionalism, charisma, positive attitude, and work she does for the establishment. Went yesterday 11/25/2024 and upon entering we were greeted and introduced to our server Ms. Nicole. Seemingly very busy and obviously understaffed, Nicole was able to make our (Family) experience exceptional. Old Navy Term - Bravo Zulu! Food was great - everyone loved the food. Upon approaching outside, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who let us know we could eat inside or outside. Since it was quite a toasty day, we opted to dine inside (yay, air conditioning!). The hostess was friendly and promptly sat us at a booth up front. After this, the friendliness went downhill. Our server Jason began our encounter by quite rudely telling my friend that no outside drinks were allowed and that she had to throw her soda water away. We are total rule followers, so we definitely respect the rule, but the way it was conveyed was a bit aggressive and stern. We were going to order alcoholic drinks and a bit more food, but after that encounter, we just got sodas and onion rings as a snack to be as quick as possible. I am giving a 3/5 as the food menu for the patio is very limited to tacos, salad, and a few apps. The full menu is only available inside the restaurant. The place is cool to look at. By boyfriend and I arrived for one of the NFL games playing Sunday afternoon. We waited up front for the hostess who asked us where we wanted to sit. My boyfriend picked a table right in front of the tv to watch the game and then another server told our hostess we could not sit in his section. Didn't address us at all. We were moved to a booth which was fine. So we tried to enjoy the meal. He got a burger and sweet potato fries and I got a patty melt with sweet potato fries. The burger and patty were flavorless. Just tasted like grease. The sweet potatoes were surprisingly super delicious. I could have eaten just a bowl of those. Experience was just eh. Made for cool pictures though. read more

Was on a road trip checking out the National Parks and came here after spending the day in Joshua Tree. Such a great vibe. Looked like an old time saloon. The waitstaff was very friendly and made great recommendations. I had the BBQ Bacon Burger and it had all the fixings! Bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce - just delicious! We had a large party and I get staffing in J-Tree is rough buuuuttt. We sat outside and they said we can't take your order unless you have a table indoors. We put in an order for 15 people when they realized we didn't have a table inside they canceled it after waiting 2 hours. We complained and they put the order back in and we waited another 2 hours and they forgot 3 meals. 4 hour wait....... With 7 kids. Two thumbs down. read more
