Been dinning at Joyce's for years. They are comprised of a great team and family ownership. They go out of their way to assure expectations are being met or exceeded. The daily specials are always a great option. They are usually comprised of 4 to 6 items that should facilitate the cravings of most. The restaurant provides an oceanic environment experience that compliments the vast amount of seafood selection's on the menu.

Restaurant is located on a strip mall with plenty of parking. Interior is beautifully decorated in sea theme. Service was good. Staff were knowledgeable about the menu, and they were patient. All the food came out hot. I had the calamari, a cup of crab bisque, and pecan crusted mahi mahi. The calamari was ok. The marinara sauce didn't have much taste to it. The calamari could have been coated better. The crab bisque was a darker color, and the soup was light. It could have a deeper flavor. The pecan crusted mahi-mahi was bland. The Chardonnay reduction sauce was mild, thus not adding much flavor to the fish. In addition, the fish was also not very fresh. Overall it was an ok experience at the restaurant.

Run, don't walk to Joyce's for 2025 HRW! Yes, it often tends to be a senior crowd, but the food and service are outstanding, prices a bargain. Had the HRW menu - one had blueberry bleu cheese salad, the other the gumbo for starters. Salad was fantastic, gumbo full of crab and shrimp and nice dark roux. Fried shrimp main - large, butterflied shrimp, hush puppies, onion rings and French fries. Other one had the Mardi Gras pasta - huge shrimp, crawfish, mushrooms and more. Took this home after a few bites, as the fried shrimp were shared and were quite enough. Even took the desserts - Key lime pie and white chocolate bread pudding (had before - do not miss) home as we were full. Drinks and wine are well priced. Neighborhood gem.

We found a hidden treasure...ssssh it's so good. A party of four and everyone had some different. I stuck with the Houston Resturant Week Menu. Everyone enjoyed the meal, music, service, very nice and clean Resturant. We stayed for a couple hours talking and enjoying each other and the food. The food was so good we all ordered food to go. They have a 3 times Award Winning Hot White Chocolate Bread Pudding. A must try!!! Ask for Ms. Carla, very nice, and the staff made sure we was attended to. Ms. Carla gave us the history on the Resturant. You need to get by this Resturant. They have a book for the menu, so you will find something on the list. I told them we will be back with a larger group.

This is a neighborhood gem. In days past I saw President & Mrs. George H.W. Bush (they had a culinary radar; if their picture was on the wall it was a great restaurant), Governor & Mrs. Mark White, and many more Captains of industry escaping the crowds. It has the feel of a country club because so many people know each other. We love it all! Crab fingers, oysters, shrimp cocktails. The daily specials are always a hit. The desserts are wonderful: best bread pudding anywhere, wonderful key lime pie and more. The owners are a brother and sister team and they are delightful.

Was there last nite, ordered crab cake. It was awful. Like a fried ball. Definitely not worth $15 for 1. Very disappointed

Just kidding LOL that didn't happen! Anyway, back to the point, sorry.. I like to mess around a little. I wasn't that hungry because I had food yesterday I ordered a kids cheeseburger burger with fries, a kids meal chicken tender with fries, a farmhouse burger, and the half chicken with biscuits. I also had the his biscus lemonade. Needless to say--well actually, quite needing to say since this is a review after all--the food was pretty good. Prices were a little crazy but it's become all to normal in this day and age. As for the food, I ordered a kids cheeseburger burger with fries , a kids meal chicken tender.. don't feel like saying all this again. As for the food, the service was pretty good I guess. The girl servers were pretty smart. The boy servers were a little less smart. Every time the guys brought food, they either stood there looking around, or attempted to place the food on top of other plates or napkins that were on the tiny table. I suggest maybe a boot/concentration program for the guys so they can concentrate a lil more. Ok, it's time for me to go. I'm gonna go to sleep after all the food. I forgot to mention what I ordered. kids cheeseburger burger with fries, a kids meal chicken tender with fries, a farmhouse burger, and the half chicken with biscuits. I also had the his biscus lemonade. The half chicken was obviously what they tried the hardest in. There were 4 types of sauce with it. They were all pretty good, but I didn't eat the chicken. The chicken tasted incredible-- so much so that I finished it completely. But I don't like eating around bones, I find it primitive. I'm more of a chicken tender kinda guy if you know what I mean. Oh yeah and for the food, I had a his biscus lemonade. It was SO good. Alright. And that is the end of my review. I hope I did t forget to list my food items because I've gotten hate messages calling me weird. Anyway, I'm out chat. Thank you to my faithful followers. Continue to look forward to my honest reviews. P.S. the beginning part was not a joke it actually happened. We made it to the dining area and was greeted with our very friend server who also helped us with our meal selections. We went with their specialty: fried chicken. It was very crispy yet the meat was very tender. We enjoyed the various dipping sauces which were all very different but very tasty. We also had some grilled shrimp and collard greens. They were both okay. A little over seasoned for my liking but good. I loved the biscuits that came with the chicken. They were amazing. Fluffy and buttery. The place is great for date nights or hanging out with a group of friends. Pretty smart casual with plenty of seating.

Having said that, one would say that I'm a Crawfish whisperer In the past I've always waited until they are big enough to even take the time to eat the flesh out of the claws, and that time is NOW, when the NBA playoffs are in full swing... For years I have called Bayou City Seafood around this time to ask what size they are, and this year was no different. I trust them to be honest with me, and they always are. So, if you either love crawfish or if you have always wanted to try them, there's no place in the city that's better. We go at 6:30 and sit at the bar. I order three pounds, which sounds like a lot but the tail has all the meat. Corn and potatoes are extra and the Boudin as an appetizer is fabulous. BTW, one of their craft beers is the perfect pairing. The service is excellent and our waitress at the bar was new, friendly, and very accommodating. For example the crab bisque had an acidic taste to it and it didn't smell right. The crawfish etoufee was good but the roux could have been deeper for a more hearty flavor. My son had the fried oysters and he loved it. My husband ordered the seafood platter and found the crab cakes to be inedible. My mom is a scallop lover and was excited about her entree. The best part of her dish was the sauteed spinach. As for the restaurant itself, it's very clean and the noise level is pleasant.
