Restaurant is located on a strip mall with plenty of parking. Interior is beautifully decorated in sea theme. Service was good. Staff were knowledgeable about the menu, and they were patient. All the food came out hot. I had the calamari, a cup of crab bisque, and pecan crusted mahi mahi. The calamari was ok. The marinara sauce didn't have much taste to it. The calamari could have been coated better. The crab bisque was a darker color, and the soup was light. It could have a deeper flavor. The pecan crusted mahi-mahi was bland. The Chardonnay reduction sauce was mild, thus not adding much flavor to the fish. In addition, the fish was also not very fresh. Overall it was an ok experience at the restaurant.

Run, don't walk to Joyce's for 2025 HRW! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Yes, it often tends to be a senior crowd, but the food and service are outstanding, prices a bargain.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had the HRW menu - one had blueberry bleu cheese salad, the other the gumbo for starters. Salad was fantastic, gumbo full of crab and shrimp and nice dark roux. Fried shrimp main - large, butterflied shrimp, hush puppies, onion rings and French fries. Other one had the Mardi Gras pasta - huge shrimp, crawfish, mushrooms and more. Took this home after a few bites, as the fried shrimp were shared and were quite enough. Even took the desserts - Key lime pie and white chocolate bread pudding (had before - do not miss) home as we were full. Drinks and wine are well priced. Neighborhood gem.

We found a hidden treasure...ssssh it's so good. A party of four and everyone had some different. I stuck with the Houston Resturant Week Menu. Everyone enjoyed the meal, music, service, very nice and clean Resturant. We stayed for a couple hours talking and enjoying each other and the food. The food was so good we all ordered food to go. They have a 3 times Award Winning Hot White Chocolate Bread Pudding. A must try!!! Ask for Ms. Carla, very nice, and the staff made sure we was attended to. Ms. Carla gave us the history on the Resturant. You need to get by this Resturant. They have a book for the menu, so you will find something on the list. I told them we will be back with a larger group.

This is a neighborhood gem. In days past I saw President & Mrs. George H.W. Bush (they had a culinary radar; if their picture was on the wall it was a great restaurant), Governor & Mrs. Mark White, and many more Captains of industry escaping the crowds. It has the feel of a country club because so many people know each other. We love it all! Crab fingers, oysters, shrimp cocktails. The daily specials are always a hit. The desserts are wonderful: best bread pudding anywhere, wonderful key lime pie and more. The owners are a brother and sister team and they are delightful.

Was there last nite, ordered crab cake. It was awful. Like a fried ball. Definitely not worth $15 for 1. Very disappointed

They might as well have sat us outside with the open door behind us bringing in the heat and wind blowing our napkins off the table. Speaking of napkins, it was extremely difficult to get one from the holder being filled to the brim; straight up had to take a chunk of napkins out to get any comfortably. Now onto the food, the pasta was bland. Mojarra has so much grease from the garlic on top. Grilled chicken lacked flavor my it's self, the shrimp was amazing, the sausage was not worth the extra charge. Rice with broccoli was alright. Horchata was watered down. Service was great, it took less than 30 minutes to be sat during lunch (3:00 pm). The food took a little over 45 minutes but it was packed so it's understandable. All our food came all at once except for one which came a short while later. They would check in to see if everything was ok.

Having said that, one would say that I'm a Crawfish whisperer In the past I've always waited until they are big enough to even take the time to eat the flesh out of the claws, and that time is NOW, when the NBA playoffs are in full swing... For years I have called Bayou City Seafood around this time to ask what size they are, and this year was no different. I trust them to be honest with me, and they always are. So, if you either love crawfish or if you have always wanted to try them, there's no place in the city that's better. We go at 6:30 and sit at the bar. I order three pounds, which sounds like a lot but the tail has all the meat. Corn and potatoes are extra and the Boudin as an appetizer is fabulous. BTW, one of their craft beers is the perfect pairing. The service is excellent and our waitress at the bar was new, friendly, and very accommodating. I can't imagine a better experience eating great tasting crawfish at a better restaurant than Bayou City. If you go, go now, and look for me at the bar I crawfish!!! Don't forget to 'suck the heads'! It's not the brains you're sucking, it's just the juices from the fat and the crawfish boil.

The food was just lack luster. There was no flavor at all. Like I could not taste love or hate in this meal. The portion size was good for two people to split. The chicken was dry like the chicken breast was overcooked - I personally just would not return but again it could just be that I had high hopes for pasta.
