Jon is really the best! His fixed my garage doors many years ago when the "spring"/coil snapped and I was trapped inside the garage. One call, and he's on his way. Just an update to say we used JT again recently when we suddenly found our garage door unable to open at all. After trying a few basic things myself and not finding the problem, I gave JT a call. First of all, I was super impressed when he was able to ask me just 2 questions over the phone and based on just those two answers he diagnosed the problem - a broken door spring that I hadn't even considered or noticed! But after he said it sounded like a broken spring and told me where to look - yup, it was absolutely (clearly) broken! Nice job to diagnose that over the phone in less than a minute. He was all booked up for the day but when he heard both of our cars were trapped in the garage, he very kindly offered to come late after his day was supposed to end to repair it. So he showed up at like 6:30p and was obviously tired from a long day, but we SO MUCH appreciated him going out of his way to help us. Updates: Day after I informed him I'll go find someone else to replace the glass, he called and texted back that he meant he will finish the job. The next Tuesday, he arrived but found out the glass was the wrong size so he said he will come back the next day to finish it. Today, he came back and finished the job. He was apologetic and gave me a discount on the job due to the delay. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he did have an emergency and had to return to Mexico and that he has another appointment (court appt) that he had to miss our appointment. With that in mind, he did a good job repairing the spring and the glass and while he was here, he was quick to finish the job. Because of the 3 weeks delay, I can't give him a 5 stars and thus, I upgrade him to a 4 stars. One thing to point out, English is not JT first language so if there are any coordination on the project, I'd document it and make sure both understand precisely what needs to be done and when. read more

Didn't mind the manual lift of the door, but when the power came back on, I could not get the door to reconnect to the drive chain.
