Great bagels but parking on a Saturday forget it! Wish they offered different flavors of cream cheese

Everybody knows jts bagel hut has the best bagels in town, and personally they are the best bagels I've had anywhere. A great selection of bagels, breakfast meats, and cream cheeses. Everything is always fresh and consistent. The prices are very fair. The icing on the cake for me is the fact they have GREAT coffee too, it seals the deal on a perfect breakfast experience. The staff is very friendly and coordinated, customers are in and out with a large crowd at the same rate they are when it's a small crowd. The kitchen staff is very consistent with preparing the food and they always make sure customers leave with the right orders, just how they ordered it. The only thing I think there is room for improvement on at JTs is the size of the establishment. It can get a little crowded on Saturday and Sunday mornings. A well-deserved 5 stars, as long as I'm in the area I'll always visit jts for breakfast! read more

Ahhh JT's Bagel Hut, how come I've only discovered you only recently and only after many drunken nightly escapades. I was introduced to this place by girl after a night of getting hammered and beers. I wanted a basic pork roll egg and cheese on a bagel to cure my already upset stomach at the 30+ beers I had drank the night before. So I went ahead and got one pork roll egg and cheese on a french toast bagel, and another one on a sesame bagel. I went wacky and figured I'd really like french toast on some salty pork roll and eggs, or I'd hate it and spit it out since the flavors were too edgy. Meaning super sweet bread with salty pork roll, but in fact it was a winning combination. Would I come here again? Most certainly, I've been going the day after I come home with a hang over, so far it's cure my appetite and my hang over. What else is there to say, good bagels, and good pork roll egg and cheese's. read more

Just a heads up, nice place staff great. Not a NY bagel at all, basically a very large soft roll with a hole in the middle. Don't boil them to give the chewy bagel you may be looking for in a bagel. Product is good, just not what I call a bagel but a great roll. read more

Do yourself a favor and try this place. The French toast bagel is off the chain. Also good: the cheddar cheese, pizza, and cinnamon bagels. Cons: the coffee sucks and the cashiers are extremely rude and not inviting at all. No hello, no eye contact, no nothing. If it wasn't for that I'd give it 5 stars. read more

Have been going here for years and it's always been good. Today I got an egg and porkroll on cheddar bagel and was so disappointed. Bagel very doughy and nothing was hot on the sandwich. It was almost like they just reheated the eggs and porkroll. read more

I ordered pork roll and egg on a bagel. Horrible. I think the meat and the eggs were pre-cooked waiting for someone to order them. The eggs were more like hard boiled eggs than fried eggs that was the worse part of the sandwich and the pork roll was hard and chewy, now freshly grilled. Best in the area. Probably the best south of exit 98 to be honest. Fresh made daily and if you don't get there at a decent time they will sell out. Good variety of flavors. Sandwiches are good, not great. Could be a little more generous with the fillings and tend to be too liberal with the seasonings on sandwiches. read more

Absolute terrible customer service. Twice in a row I called in an order to find it's not in the system when I arrive. I let the first time go no big deal. The second time I explained to the girl behind the counter what had happened and she laughed and said "oh well". I've been a long time customer of JTs but their customer service has drastically declined. I will never be back. read more

I'm on the fence about this place. The women behind the counter are excellent- friendly, efficient and always smiling. Ok, this is going to sound strange but the bagels are too big. Yup, you read that correctly. The spare tire for my Ford is smaller. Also, they are too doughy. The inside is soft, which is good, but the outside of the bagel is also very soft. Here's my solution - always toast it. 5 stars if you toast it, 2 stars if you don't. read more

Magical. This place was on my way home and a random, quick stop off the highway. I had planned to grab a bagel and eat while i drove home but after one bite, I knew I wasnt moving until that bagel was gone. I needed to savor it and it was sooo worth it. I devoured the french toast bagel with the maple raisin cream cheese. Amazing! As a NJ native I've eaten a ton of bagels and this was definitely one of my favorites for sure. 100% recommend! read more

Amazing bagels. No doubt about it. Best in town and best pretty much in Jersey. HOWEVER. They need a better system for filtering customers. It's frustrating how many times I've gone in and left because I don't feel like waiting 20 minutes just to order or grab loose bagels. They need a separate line for people ordering sandwiches and stuff and a line for people who grab loose bagels in a bag. Went today and walked out. This USE TO BE a decent bagel but the owner John finds it necessary to hire degenerates who can't count never mind get an order straight. Also he is getting cheap. His everything bagel has no salt. He says it does but it melts. How come the salt bagel has salt. I owned a bagel shop for years in brick and he blatantly lies about it, also the bagels are like rubber. Just an outstanding place. Always well staffed .The counter people are super nice . The 3 girls behind the counter.super helpful . got a decent order to fill. They gave me The extra cups and plates I needed. The bagels speak for themselves. There may be other shops around, but this place sets the bar to high for those other posers. Jt's rules! read more

Their bagels are always so rubbery nowadays and the kid making the food, with the backwards snapback, makes everything SO messy. It's actually really annoying watching him make your food so carelessly and then try to eat this messy rubbery pile. Sucks because they USED to be great, but now it's pretty garbagey. This place is hopping 11:00 in the morning. They have the best bagels we've had in a long time. A ten dollar bill will buy you 7 bagels and a container of cream cheese. We've got to find good bagels in Gloucester County. Or else, do a run to Forked River occasionally. read more

JT's seriously has the best bagels I have ever had! They are large, always fresh, soft and so delicious! I love the house made cream cheeses too and The muffins are so good, I wish I could eat here every day! Coffee is always hot and the owners are hardworking locals that are truly amazing people! Great, Great, Great Bagels. The have lots of options for bagels from your standard everything to the cheddar bagel and the amazing French toast bagel. They easily have the best French toast bagel Ive ever had, easily. When I venture over to Jt's from Bayville I normally start with a pork roll and cheese on an everything or salt bagel, and then get a French toast with butter to go. I've never been upset with anything I've ordered here and when you eat in you get a little muffin with you bagel, awesome. read more

We have a lot of decent bagel places in the area, but by far JT's is the best. It is so tempting because it is on my way to work and it is so hard to pass up. I definitely suggest trying the cheddarr cheese bagel. It is a huge bagel with a large slice of cheddar cheese melted and crunchy right on top. Amazing with cream cheese. read more

I drove by this place all the time and never went in. I frequented a place further east on Lacey Road. One day I stopped in to get a breakfast bagel sandwich and am I every glad I did. The bagels here are the BEST I have every tasted. They are good in size too! Now I call ahead and order my breakfast sandwich and it is always ready when I get there - hot and delicious. read more

Exactly what my wife and I were looking for since we live in CA now and miss our jersey food, especially good bagels. French toast bagel is amazing( not remotely healthy) and solid PRC. These bagels are not only tasty, they are huge and very reasonable! These guys are worth a try, if not a regular stop. I suggest going earlier than later if you are getting a large order of bagels. JT's bagel hut is phenomenal. Every time I'm down the shore there is no argument about where we are going for breakfast. I usually get Taylor ham egg and cheese on a cheddar bagel. The Taylor ham is cooked to perfection and the bagel is crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. I also get a french toast bagel with butter. After the savory bagel the sweetness of the french toast bagel completes your breakfast. I love JT's bagel hut. read more

By far the best bagel place around!! I love every bagel I've tried. The Cinnamon Sugar bagel is like heaven! You also can't go wrong with Plain, Onion and Everything. I'm a huge fan of the homemade cream cheeses. The Veggie one is savory and delicious! The Maple Raisin one is amazing- and that's coming from someone who hates maple syrup! Love love love JT's.
