This was the best brunch place I visited during my stay. Easy enough to get a table, plenty of parking, the waiters are fast and doing really linger with you. I was able to make the substitutions I wanted for a vegetarian breakfast sandwich, and it was good! I do wish it came with potatoes but overall it was the best priced meal I found in town. And when I visit again, I will be coming here for brunch. read more

I stopped by JT's this morning for some breakfast. I was seated right away and poured a cup of coffee before I could ask for it. The staff is friendly and what you would expect from a busy restaurant. I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits with a side of scrambled eggs. My food came out really quick. Everything was freshly prepared and nice and hot. The sausage gravy was good, but not as comparable as to the good stuff you get down south where I grew up . The restaurant was decorated nicely not that's really important to me. This is a great family run restaurant and I highly recommend that you stop by and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. read more

Been a regular since July every Sunday morning, I know the atmosphere and I can deal with it up to today. Sat at the horseshoe bar for over 15 minutes waiting for my order to be taken atleast 3 other patrons Sat down after me and there order was taken completely ignored by Teena and when I bought it to her attention I was completely disrespected with her statement "can't you see that we are busy?". Yeah I can see that you are busy, let me help you out with that issue, I excused myself from the business. Super Tasty Breakfast at 930am on a Tuesday and the place was full which was a great sign. I had the corned beef hash which was great and they got the over medium eggs just perfect. Place was lively and fun and they kept my coffee full the whole time. Highly recommended! read more

She's doing an insult schtick which apparently has served her well as they built a new location but it's obnoxious and not funny. Admittedly she'll also take a retort. There's no reading the room so hope your 5 year old or deaf mother can handle ridicule not being ready to order without seeing a menu. First time here: came in on a Sunday around 12ish. First impression - clean well manicured outside with nice parking. As we entered we were loudly greeted and asked "how many" the girl handed us two menus and told to us to sit anywhere that is clean and set. I like this bc picking your own seat is awesome! I quickly realized they close at 1:00. The pressure was on to order, eat, and get the F out. Food came in a timely manner, had to ask for a coffee refill and everything was good. Ok would I come back? I'm not entirely sure : was the food good ? Yes , was the service good? Yes was the establishment clean? Yes. My hesitation is the noise factor. When I say noise I'm referring to the staff yelling at each other and the guest. I got the impression this might be some sort of gig they want to be known for. For me to return I would really have to be in the mood for it bc the staff literally is yelling across the room to each other the entire time we were there. The lady that was clearly in charge yells about each table that needs to be cleaned and set, yelled about the vacuuming, yelled about filling the ketchup and then proceeded to have a yelling conversation to the entire room regarding the ice scoop. When I go out to eat I enjoy good atmosphere, good food and relaxation. After all I'm not preparing it. I did not find the constant yelling relaxing and unfortunately that's enough for me to spend my money elsewhere. read more

I was in the area this morning, waiting to get some work done on my car, and heard a diner was nearby with good food. In my opinion, diner breakfasts typically go one of two ways. 1) Super plain food, dingy atmosphere, and staff that aren't very happy to be serving or in a hustle to get anything for anyone. Or 2) which is the rare, friendly, and attentive staff who is hustling to get food out hot and timely while still maintaining cleanliness. JT's fits the latter role. It has a great ambiance with lighting and just the right volume on the radio. Super clean. Friendly staff. And delicious food! This is the first diner where the chicken was crispy without being dry, and the coleslaw wasn't some premade sloppy-as-hell-shit with no flavor. My wife's hash browns were cooked perfectly, as crispy as they should be. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Heads up about the owner, Teena... She is loud, and talks to customers in a way that some reviewers have complained is aggressive, inappropriate, and rude. Anyone who doesn't have a stick up their ass will see that this is just her playing around and standing up to make herself her brand. That's called marketing folks. Making yourself known through customers discussing you establishes your brand and draws business. So, get your panties out of a bunch and enjoy the place!! read more

Nice breakfast this morning at JTs. Fast paced diner that gets the tables clear so you seat. Breakfast comes quick. Good coffee. Nice portions on the full breakfast. Hashbrowns were cooked well. Sausage Patties had great flavor. Enjoyed the pancakes. Scrambled eggs were ok. Very good value. Nice spacing, large booths. Would recommend trying this place. read more

We were coming to your restaurant for the first time today. My husband walked in first and said to the hostess "How are you doing today!". She responded with good until you walked in. He got pissed and told her to f-off. How dare a hostess say that to a guest. We will NEVER visit any of your establishments and I will share wide and far how we were just treated. JT's Diner is very reasonably priced with generous portions served quickly. It has a cute atmosphere - not a retro 1950s look but more home-like with both tables & counter seating which was clean & maintained. Some may take exception to my next comment but that's OK. This was my first visit to JT's. Judging from some of the decorative signs & their motto, "Eat & get out, dork!", sarcasm & banter is the theme. I've been in such places & it can be fun. In my opinion, JT's takes it a little too far & it comes off as loud & obnoxious. But if you're OK with that, consider JT's to be five (5) stars! __________ Fellow Yelpers! Lightning fast service and good quality breakfast - great spot when you're looking for a quick bite!

I'm torn on this one because the food was really great and our server was fun. But I can't completely support an organization that is going against what is recommended from a social distancing and mask wearing perspective. See the attached photo. There was also a customer talking about being pretending to be gay and joking with the staff about it, which promptly stopped when I leaned out of my booth rather loudly and said "yeah I'm gay too", making most people around fairly uncomfortable. Typical "off the beaten path" diner though. Maybe I'll come back with my boyfriend and wear my heels. read more

This place is AMAZING, but not for the easily offended. Teena is a wonderful ball of energy at all times and unapologetically herself. She is LOUD so if you have a hangover, you've been warned!! If you don't like the attitude, she'll tell you to "go to Bob Evans!" :). You either love it or hate it, but I think her personality adds a lot of fun and laughter to the atmosphere. Sweet Mr. Bob is her right hand man and will deliver your coffee with a smile. Food is always quick and good. This is the perfect place if you want good quality food with an unbeatable price. Locals that go often and order the same thing know that their order will be memorized eventually. It's always busy here; but they don't take reservations and make sure you have everyone in your party with you when you walk up. Don't expect to be on your phone here, if teena sees you she'll take it out of your hands and tell you to talk to your family/friends.
