This is my favorite breakfast spot!! The staff feels like family. I love the chocolate chip pancakes with bacon.

This place is one of a kind. I love the way you're treated here. It was packed and noisy, but you expect that on a late Saturday morning. Got seated quickly and coffee was being poured seconds later. Food came quickly and it was hot. I had one of the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Ultimate omelet and it was fantastic. Home fries were really good, and plenty of butter on the toast. Will the facility itself is beautiful it's just a couple years old and it was very well done and thought-out it can seat a lot of people inside without looking too crowded or busy the owner does an excellent job of getting people seated when she's there which is quite often I've also noticed that the staff there is very well trained and everything is very well-thought-out you never have to wait on hot coffee or a fresh fountain pop which by the way is very good food is always excellent hot forces are well done I love the way they do blue waffles special with the berries on them and the whip cream so the owner Tina has always something a wisecracker something to say to you that's their stick their that's one of the things that keeps people coming back I believe so I had a great time I try to go there once or twice a week sometimes three times but it's always excellent food if you have nothing else better to do on a Saturday and it's raining now go see him for breakfast she won't be disappointed! read more

We love this place! Part of the ambience of this place is being served with sarcasm ....in a friendly way that makes it really fun! The waitress that was there was very fast, fun, and hysterical. It's entertaining and you smile the whole time you're eating because you're hearing everybody else's insults and sarcasm. Reminds me of the Howl at the Moon . JT's diner is a blast with good food for very cheap. Tina, the owner and waitress is over the top. She shouts at customers, insults them, tweeks their nipples now and again and they love it! If you are uptight or conservative this is probably not your place. If you love banter with a funny broad who won't take your sh!t, then this is all you! Try the eggs benedict. It is the best. Fun breakfast/lunch place. Place is loud from the crowds and the staff yells above them. But that is what makes it so great. So if you are looking for a quiet place, this may not be your best bet. Food is great, service is fast. The staff all help each other out. Good breakfast options and prices are great. Don't use your cellphone in there unless you want to get embarrassed. But because people aren't on their phones they're talking and that's awesome. Can't wait to try it for lunch sometime. read more

I love this place. I have been coming here for years. Teena is the owner and server. If you read some reviews people will say that shes, loud, obnoxious and rude. She might be all those things but like she says "If you don't like it then go to Bob Evans". She will take away your cell phones, Ipods or any other gadget and tell you to talk with the people at your table. I think its awesome! Food is great and the price is even better. read more

My wife had a ob baby check up this morning at 9:15 so we decided to head over to jt's to grab breakfast beforehand. I have been to jt's a few times a long time ago at the old location at the end of lost nation rd. This was our first time at the new location. Very nice inside spacious great booths very roomy (they could use padding as it hurts your butt a little). My wife got French toast with a side order of hashbrowns and I got a cup of coffee(was really good and mellow not bitter at all) as well as a veggie omelet with rye toast and hash browns, my omlet was not bad but it was what it was a omlet. What I really enjoyed was my hash browns. nice chunks of potatoes that make make me think of pillows. Nice crispy out sides. My 2 year old son was making a mess and tossing plastic coffee cups and silverware on the floor and the owner was totally cool with it. It gets a bit loud in there and I heard words like dork loser and sush being said but that is just what this place is and I'm good with that. We spent about 14$ for breakfast and that includes our tip. I recommend coming here diffenetly if you live in the area. oh and one last note I asked her to only fill my coffee cup on half way and her response was do not tell me what to do lol made me chuckle at 8 am read more

A great place for the family to go for a quick morning breakfast. Very fun atmosphere, the kids will love it! The waitress (the only waitress) is so funny! Breakfast is good! The omelettes are good size, coffee is hot and plentiful, and prices are awesome! My only complaint is the toaster must be on the lowest setting - it comes out barely hot but my husband loves his toast that. Other than that, we've never had a bad meal! read more

Was in the mood for some eggs at lunch and we did not want to go to a chain. We arrived to find most of the tables full. I took this as a good sign. Sat a a roomy booth. Server came by with menus I ordered an omelette. It came to the table hot and filled with everything I like. Potatoes were crispy. We were in and out in under 30 minutes. This was an added bonus due to the travel to get to Jt's from my work. As I looked at what other people were eating the meatloaf looked amazing. I understand that the waitress/co-owner is a good person, but her antics are way over the top and out of bounds. I felt verbally assaulted, and left feel raw and aggravated. Never got a chance to try the food. When we arrived at 9:30 AM on a Wednesday morning, there was short line out the door waiting to get inside. As she was scolding me to close the door, I asked the woman at the register how long she expected the wait to be. She curtly told me they she really didn't know and to stand aside and wait. She had a few more choice words for me as I walked out the door to find another place for breakfast with more friendly personnel. My mother in law and father in law introduced my hubbs and I to this restaurant before it moved to its new location. The owner is friggin amazing! For all the others who have complained about the "rudeness", it's supposed to be part of the experience and they were obviously unaware. Her employees are equally amazing! Tina is such a great lady! The food here is reasonably priced and usually pretty good.. unfortunately the last few times I have been there I got to go orders and got home to find hair in my food.
