I recently hired Stan Flow Plumbing to modify the plumbing on my hot water heater and replace the internal cartridges in several of my faucet handles. From the start, Stan's communication was excellent, and he arrived exactly when he said he would. He worked efficiently on the hot water heater and then moved on to the shower cartridge replacement. Unfortunately, when the water was turned back on, the pressure damaged the shower valve, which started leaking. While this wasn't ideal, Stan's response was outstanding. He stayed well beyond his scheduled time trying to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. Even though it became clear that another cartridge needed to be replaced, he remained professional and polite throughout. Since we couldn't leave the water leaking, we had to shut it off until the replacement part arrived. This shower valve would not shut off and water continued to flow down the drain. Stan's service calls are $120 and he was at my mother's house within the hour. Our water heater went bye-bye on a Saturday morning, gas was seeping out, and pge had to cap off the gas line for safety reasons-- our water heater was collecting lots of dryer lint and dust in the burn chamber. We didn't know where to start but I started looking through my bookmarked businesses. Stan answered my call and even though he couldn't service it that day because of another project, he stopped by to give me a quote. It was 2/3 the quote that my neighbor got (her quote was from 5 years ago!) by one of those fancy, exorbitant plumbing companies to replace her water heater.
