I was just at Juanchos and we were seated in the bar area. We got our water and chips and the waitress never came back. There were 5 waiters/waitresses behind the bar and not one of them ever came over to take our order. It was my first and definitely last time going there. This place is excellent! Food is great! The manager Carlos and his staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a great dining experience. My server Orlando was awesome! Chose this restaurant solely because they opened early on a Sunday when most don't open till 11am. You have a choice between ordering from the menu or the brunch buffet. We chose the buffet. Food was mediocre. The Chicken Mole was really watery. No color, no flavor. The Birria and The Pork Riblets tasted exactly the same. If I would've closed my eyes I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The Chilli Rellenos were a soggy mess and the beans were sooo runny. The only highlight of the meal was the Posole. Which coincidentally tasted like the Birria and Riblets. Come on guys. There's nothing wrong with using a little spice. The service was your basic waitress bringing you drinks. Wait staff is friendly and inviting. The Ambiance was good. The lighting was a little dimmed which I actually preferred. Now, the COST $$$$ I have been to several buffets in my life time usually ranging from about $15 - $20 per person. There were five of us. So when I got the bill I was floored! Our cost was $35 PER PERSON! I mean, WOW! FOR mediocre Mexican food. I'm thinking I won't be going back anytime soon. And the people here leaving great reviews I could only assume are your typical non-Hispanics that can't tell the damn difference between authentic and fast food! read more

I ordered a molcajete and after a few bites in I bit into a large piece of metal. I showed the manager the piece of metal and he was unapologetic and said he had no clue where the metal came from. He never offered to refund my money or reimburse me for me troubles until I asked for it. read more

We wanted Mexican food and saw this on Yelp! I was really craving a cadillac margarita and was disappointed when I learned that they only serve beer and wine. I ended up ordering a wine margarita and to my surprise, it was very good!!! The food was good overall and service was good. The only reason I gave it a 3 star is because I thought the prices were a tad high for the type of establishment that it is, and the amount of food you get. I live in Mission Viejo, Orange County, and we're spoiled by many nice restaurants with great ambiance, great prices, great food, and great drinks so perhaps I'm a bit biased. read more

Pozole was delicious! Only brunch I've had that makes fresh chilaquiles to order! Desserts - mini pan dulce and they even have bunuelos!! Can't beat $14.99. Includes drink AND 1 mimosa. More options than brunch served during the week. Chorizo and egg plate is good! Chips and salsa are addicting. They have café con canela. Micheladas are a little spicy but good! We went from Gloria's to here because wait was better. We got seated right away. The waitress was very accommodating. They took our order right away and they brought our drinks right away. Juanchos is great for Sunday brunch buffet with many food options including omelettes, pancakes, and authentic Mexican foods. The tortillas are handmade on the spot. It can get a little crowded and the dining area is already cramped so just be ready to get cozy with other patrons if you happen to sitting in the tables versus the booths. Staff is friendly and attentive. Pricing is average. Note: Saturday brunch is not worth it as selection and staffing is limited. Came here on July 11, 2021 for a friends birthday as we wanted to eat prior to heading to the winery and based on prior reviews it seems like a spot you must try. Checked in and was told it would be a 30 minute wait, no big deal more time to hang out. Once we were seated we were promptly and our waiter came over to greet us I don't remember his name, but he was very friendly. We placed our drink order and received them rather quickly. Soon after we placed our food order. We had the shredded beef flats, shredded beef burrito with green sauce and some chilaquiles. We were accidentally given the wrong burrito luckily it was ready to go. The food did take quite a while to come out however it was pretty good. A couple of things the staff was friendly and helpful. The table needed to be cleaned a little better as the section where it meets the wall was not clean (* I did watch them sanitize other tables while I was there so I think this is an attention to detail mishap on our table, as it's a busy spot). Also the menus need to be replaced they are pretty torn up and I saw a hair inside of the plastic so that was a little off putting for me. I also noticed a fly zapper inside the restaurant which I thought was odd but necessary. read more

We have been here 4 times because it's within walking distance and every time we have to get up and find our server or ask someone else to charge us because after eating and being out of drinks for 15-20 mins we still have no bill or way to get one!
