Out visiting Joshua Tree from SD with my wife and daughter last week. We always stop by Kasa Market…read moreto hit the carniceria and taco shop in back on our way out on Hwy 62. Our last experience proved to be as solid as all our past visits. We always pick up meat to cook at our site or kitchen and always stop for lunch or breakfast before packing the cooler and heading east. Picked up 2 lbs of chorizo, some cheese and tortillas from the market and we got welcoming vibes and friendly customer service from the butcher and the girl working the register. The taco shop in back is super legit too. I got 6 tacos (2 asada, 2 adobada, and 2 carnitas), my wife got cheese enchiladas with red sauce, and my daughter got a bean, rice, cheese burrito. Everything was insanely good and properly cooked per usual. As others have mentioned, the tortillas are super fresh and fluffy. The enchilada sauce is some of the best red sauce you can get north of the border. All 3 types of tacos were properly marinaded and cooked to perfection. Bomb guacamole and hot sauce for the tacos. My daughter loved her burrito as well. We never drive past Kasa Market without stopping by and they NEVER disappoint!

This spot is definitely on our lunch list each time we're in the area! Freshly prepared food,…read morefluffy tortillas and yummy marinated meats. I ordered the three rolled tacos with rice and beans. Love the fresh guacamole, lettuce, tomato's & cotija cheese on top! The menu includes the following: tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, enchiladas, tostadas, nachos, asada fries, combo plates, family pack (includes one pound meat, rice, beans, onion, cilantro, red or green salsa, flour or corn tortillas and liter of soda), catering (five or ten pounds of meat), breakfast plates and burritos. Meats to choose from: asada, pollo, alpastor, carnitas, deshebrada, lengua, tripa and buche. Nice, friendly, employees, great food, plenty of parking out front and in the back. Note; inside is a small seating area, however you can get it to go. Wish they were closer so I could visit more often!

What a vibe!!…read more Visiting Joshua Tree and had to make a stop here! Options for coffee or a cocktail, what a cool concept. They have cool art work and merch. Staff are super friendly and had great customer service. We tried the Banana nut latte, salted caramel cold brew, Arnold Palmer and a cocktail El Compsnero. All were super tasty! I would add a little extra swetner when getting a tea, but we enjoyed our mid day pick me up! The photo booth was so much fun! We had a blast getting our pics. Just overall a dope place!

Overhyped and not worth it…read more The place looks really nice inside, but unfortunately, that's about the only positive thing I can say. I ordered the blueberry hibiscus, and it was terrible there was barely any flavor at all. It was so bad that I ended up throwing it away, which felt like a complete waste of money. My friend ordered the matcha latte, and that was just as disappointing. The matcha was extremely watered down and had very little flavor. To make things worse, the cashier was rude and had a standoffish attitude, which made the experience even less enjoyable. The AC also wasn't working, so it was uncomfortable inside. Overall, this place is way overhyped. The interior is cute, but the drinks and customer service were a huge letdown. Definitely not worth the money or the hype.

The service here is amazing - The staff worked diligently to make sure that my family and our 3 dogs were able to be accommodated. While the wait time was a bit longer ( as expected of a busy summer holiday weekend) the shops and stores nearby provide entertainment while waiting for your table. Everything ordered was delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely stop by again whenever I'm back in the area! Side note: Make sure you try the sourdough, so yummmmm!

I don't recommend this café. We were very disappointed with the food…read more I ordered the beef hash with two over hard eggs and cornbread. The beef hash was extremely dry and was mostly potatoes. It had no flavor or seasoning. The eggs weren't even over hard, they were scrambled instead. The cornbread was bland. Good thing I added butter, because it helped make it more moist and gave it some flavor. My partner ordered Mike's Mess with white toast. His scrambled eggs were also filled with potatoes, and the overall meal was just as disappointing. The food lacked flavor and wasn't satisfying at all. I've never had such a disappointing, bad breakfast experience until this restaurant. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of tables, and was busy. Most importantly, the staff was friendly and nice.

I stopped by here for a brunch spot and it definitely hit the spot…read more I came with a few friends and we came towards the end of brunch so we had to wait a little over 30 mins. It was a Thursday morning but they were extremely packed. It probably was the rush after the meteor shower evening. I ordered the country fried steak, my friends ordered the lemonade (homemade but SUPER TART!!), the last biscuits and gravy (this was gonna be my order too!), and the veggie omelet, and we ordered a regular French toast to share. Their homemade biscuit was hefty, but the gravy matched the biscuit. The workers were friendly and helpful when asking questions and for assistance. I loved all the homey decor, and the pictures. I was so happy to see a picture of Anthony Bourdain stopped here! Would definitely recommend coming here if you're on a stop into Joshua Tree.

The biscuits were super dry and the vegetarian cream flavorless. The vegan breakfast burrito had more flavor to it so it was decent. It took maybe 40-45min for the food to come out. Other tables also waited quite a while for their food. There was a bit of a wait to get seated. Fortunately they have outside seating while you wait and a restroom. We walked over to get coffee at Joshua Tree Coffee Company. The staff are super nice.
