Never, ever, ever anything but perfection at Judy's. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit but then pile on exceptional service and a meal beyond compare. Perfect night out with my mom, my uncle Ken and his amazing new wife Kathleen, and of course my most beautiful wife Michelle. To everyone at Judy's, thank you so much for a job well do

Dinner for work. The drinks were strong!! Bathroom is all the way downstairs when you walk in. We had a limited menu since it was a group dinner. The bread was good. The scallops were gritty and the filet was ok. For dessert I had the key lime pie. I think it had been sitting out for awhile because it was falling apart and runny. Parking lot across the street, we took the shuttle from the hotel.

Went to Judy's on a Saturday night and the place was jumping! Seemed like a good sign. Alas, we had a very mixed experience. We parked in a lot across the street which used to be hourly of maybe free but it's $10 now. We used park mobile to pay. We made a reservation for 6 the day before which they did not have but fortunately had a table for us anyway. Bumpy start. The whole dinner experience lasted just under 3 hours and when dinner was served it took almost 5 minutes to get everyone's meals. The meals: 4 out of 6 were excellent. They had a pork chop with cooked peaches which were awesome! We had 2 fillets and one was great but the second was cooked to temp but was a but dry and unseasoned. The veggies on this dish were also unseasoned and undercooked. Most of us had totally seasoned and cooked sides. We got a NY strip that came pre-sliced and it was cooked to temp but it was luke warm. It was the last of 6 dishes to be served, perhaps it sat for some time? We had a veggie lasagna which was not recommended by the server but was very much enjoyed. The service was OK and gratuity of 20% was automatically applied due to being a table of 6. Almost 3 hours is just too long and the food should be served at the same time. I had much higher expectations for Judy's. We're going to give it another try and hope we caught them on an off night.

We really picked the right restaurant. Problem was the menu all looked so good we had to make choices ! Started with the grilled beet napoleon. My wife had the swordfish and I had the filet . Followed up with an awesome piece of cake and great coffee . Our waitress Shannon was awesome all the way . She even gave us a ride to the show we were going to after dinner . That was a true first ! Really solid place in a beautiful old building . Absolutely made the right choice !

Decent, but certainly not a fine dining experience. My experience wasn't great, but my appetizers were good enough that I'd give it another try. Better communication could easily have allowed many of the issues to be overlooked. First, the good: the appetizers I had were tasty. The vibe was very cute. The bad: I was sat at 5:40 on a Saturday, and needed to leave by 7 to get to the Santander Performing Arts Center. I ordered appetizers and a salad. I asked if the protein on one of the salads could be switched, she told me she'd find out but asked me for a back up order. She never told me the original salad I asked about was out of stock, just input my backup order with no communication. However, that wouldn't end up mattering. I had the dates which were PHENOMENAL! My fried green tomatoes were good, but they were fairly cold, and the lettuce they were topped with was frozen. I was stuffed after the apps and asked the server if I could cancel my salad. She told me it had already been prepared. 20 minutes later the salad I couldn't cancel because it was already prepared still hadn't arrived (I also was without a drink for that time, and was never given a chance to order another). I flagged down a woman who appeared to be a manager and said I needed to close out. I never saw her again. My server finally went by and I said I needed to leave. She didn't respond to me, presumably because she was slammed but it was unbelievably off-putting. I understand busy, but a sentence explaining what you're doing (which I didn't get from her or the "manager") would have made a huge difference. They took the salad (and an espresso I'd ordered that didn't arrive) off my bill. I would have appreciated them discounting a glass of wine or something n for the inconvenience, but I didn't even get a verbal apology. I'd give it another try, but this experience was not good.

Suprising! Great food with nice vegetarian options. Nice people, comfortable to eat at the bar.

I ordered the farmhouse breakfast which was lovely. Perfectly diced home fries. Delicious scrambled eggs that indeed looked far fresh . I got it with ham. Here are some of the reasons for our disappointment: 1. Hospitality is significantly lacking! There is little to no warmth of personality in the workers. No smiles no guidance for taking orders of someone who professes it's their first time visiting. No one followed up to see if we wanted to or needed anything else after our food was received. They didn't even bother asking if everything was okay. Customer service has no personality nor a dedication to excellence. 2. To order/pay/ attain a menu, you must navigate and stand in line on steps which will be difficult for customers who may have disabilities or mobility difficulties. 3. High chairs are stored in the bathroom along with the toilet and other items for storage. This is quite disgusting as when toilets are flushed, particles are sprayed into the air and then will come to rest on the high chairs where patrons put their children to eats. Gross. 4. I specifically asked during the placement of my order if the sausage was spicy/peppery and was told "no", so I ordered it, only to have both myself and the other person in our party agree that it was spicy/had a kick. No syrup was provided either. 5. The toast was so hard it was like a rock and I never was provided with the jam that is clearly indicated on our receipt, and I was charged an additional fee for- nor did anyone come over to check on us or offer to bring it. Again poor service! 6. The floors and displays were dusty and boasted cobwebs. Observing staff clearing plates from tables I noticed that tables and chairs were not wiped/sanitized between customers. There are additional concerns we had about our first visit here, but I'm sure you get the idea. It is extremely rare that I leave poor reviews, but this one stood out and can't be overlooked. Just highly disappointed and I would never recommend this place, except for maybe a coffee to go, but nothing more. Save your time and money and visit elsewhere to avoid wasting it and leaving in a state of disappointment.

I mean I guess it wasn't that long ago, but it feels like a lifetime has passed in between. The bar that night was full of familiar faces. Groups of friends from both Wilson and Wyomissing neighborhoods had been unified with a common aspiration. After nearly two full days of agonizing rain delays, we were all about to witness the Phils bring the city of Philadelphia its first championship in 25 years (since 1983, before so many of us there that night were even born). This isn't Santino's of course, but it's impossible to separate those memories, which is probably the case for many of the folks still coming here who can remember fondly the mingling with family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. I'm glad this remained a restaurant and didn't turn into another spa or something. It's a bit harder to go to a spa and think hey I used to drink Jaegerbombs right over there by the koi pond and speaker playing soothing rainforest sounds. You can tell just by the sequence of naming conventions (from "Santino's" to "Tino's" to finally "State Hill Craft Cocktails & Kitchen") the kind of vibe they're going for here. The "Tino's" era, though brief, proved that you could keep the neighborhood charm and just slightly ratchet up the presentation, especially in the food and bar departments. Over time the menu has shifted from fine-casual Italian to more upscale comfort food, with wagyu meatloaf, lobster mac & cheese, and the always elegant, always dashing meatloaf patty melt. State Hill Craft Cocktails & Kitchen or whatever iteration of dining establishment will be there 15, 20 years from now (Luxe Carwash expansion perhaps) will bring together members of the community that wouldn't ever otherwise cross paths. New friendships will form, and old ones will strengthen. The atmosphere was electric that night in Santino's nearly 20 years ago. Everyone was elated, even people who didn't watch sports were happy because they could see other people were happy. For one night we could push everything else aside, the weight of responsibility and care lifted from our backs. A reminder that joy could be had, and our existences, though flawed, remained full of promise with even better days ahead. This is probably the least helpful review you've ever read LOL

The calamari was fine shavings of calamari coated with fried breading and a strange heavily Parmesan cheese sauce. The gnocchi was eh.... The whipped feta did not add anything great to it. Someone at our table asked for bread and they told us after looking at him in a very confused way... responded with, " sure we can get you bread, focaccia bread, but it may take 20 minutes." The main thing is the water took 10 minutes to get to the table and our drinks took a half an hour after the water came. One appetizer came out 20 minutes after that and then another 25 minutes after that the dinners came out. All in all... We didn't get any food for over an hour and 15 minutes. The wait staff and manager had no idea how slow everything was and we were the only table that ordered. Everyone other table was eating already. The ambience is OK... It's not great and it was so cold. It was uncomfortable. We sat in the back garden room. The entire restaurant was too cold.
