Sure I trimmed them and filed them but they hurt even when just wearing socks. Enter Judy. She has all the Covid protection shields in there and only works on one client at a time in there, so I feel safe going to her during these crazy times. I have been going to Judy's for last 5 years for pedicure and have always been very happy when I leave there. I have tried a couple of other salons around Cupertino, Los Altos but hers is the place for me. Judy takes great care for my feet that often need a bit of work. Soaking in the hot bath for several minutes followed by her thorough work on them, it just feels great. She takes her time. She is precise and oh-so-careful as she trims those tiny nail bits that dig into your toes with the potential of becoming ingrown if not properly removed. I love this place... very nice area, the shop is hidden amongst a bunch of adorable shops in downtown Campbell. The owner, Judy, does great mani//pedis and is very sweet. Her fellow manicurist doesn't speak much English though, and can get confused by the instruction you give.. like "no yellow on my flowers". The spa chairs are comfy, just be wary of using the "massage" feature, sometimes it pushes just a bit too hard. And though they have three chairs, one seems to always be broken. I saw in a previous review that they offered water, but they have not since I've been going. And now they've raised their prices by $5 for every service. So what used to be a $70 treat now went up to $90 (for two, including the $5 extra for the nail art. It's now 40 for a mani/pedi combo.) I really love this place.. but I'm not sure if the cons outweigh the pros... We'll see. read more

The two ladies that have done my mani/pedis have been very sweet and welcoming. I have to say that they do an excellent job. I started seeing Judy back in high school when I was big into acrylic nails with fun designs on them (don't judge, you know you did it too). I left the area for awhile and moved back to Campbell recently. Out and about I stumbled into Judy's nails for a mani/pedi and "my" Judy sitting behind the desk! Turned out she had bought the salon and moved in a few years ago! We were reunited at last! :) Judy is just great. Her salon is always calm and relaxing. I can call her at 6pm for a shellac manicure and she will take me that evening! She is very accommodating. She also lets me bring my 2 year old poodle into the salon as well which is awesome as I can kill two birds with one stone - walk the dog and get a mani/pedi! Judy is the best. I moved to Campbell 2 years ago, and discovered Judy's shortly after. She does a phenomenal job on both manicures and pedicures. There is also another woman who will help her who does a lovely job as well. She does not try to "upgrade" your nail job-- nickel and dime you (do you want _____? It will be 10 more dollars -- no kidding, happens to me at other places more often than I can count!) So not only does she do a great job, but she is one of the nicest people I have met since moving to the area. I highly recommend her & her charming salon! Oh, and I just read a review from May that commented about the shellac not holding up -- I always get the shellac (gel) manicure -- mine last a few weeks. Pedicures always hold up as well. And she is gentle. My daughter does not like going anywhere else because she has been pricked many times -- never at Judy's. read more

Judy's assistant did a good job on my pedi but I'm upset that they did not finish my shellac mani at 12:30 pm (the time of my appointment elsewhere) even though I got in around 11:10 am. I'm just confused why it took so long to give me a pedi and remove my previous shellac and put a new coat of shellac on. I did tell Judy early on after we arrived that I had to go at 12:30. I also informed her that my sister didn't so if Judy didn't think I could get out at 12:30 at the rate they were working, why didn't she stop working on my sister and file/put acteone on my nails? If she did not know I had shellac already, she should have checked or asked... I later sat around for like like 10-15 min with acetone soaked cotton balls wrapped in foil on my fingertips when I should have been doing that while I was getting a pedi. And... what happened to her other assistant? Judy had two girls working with her when we walked in but at some point, the third one disappeared. I mean even I could have removed the shellac at home if I knew what to do. I just think that took some simple thinking/action since she is familiar with all the nail processes and the amount of time they take. I simply could not be late/miss my following appointment and so I had to leave with unfinished nails and I am not happy about it. 1 star for a decent job by Judy on my sister (the color isn't opaque and the edges are messy), 1 star for a nice pedi on myself. read more

I refuse to go anywhere else but Judy's. She does not use the nail sander (not sure of the technical term). So, my nails are not nearly has beat up. Quick things to note about Judy: she does not compromise on quality work. This means that she takes her time and it will take you about an hour or so for a manicure. And, her manicures last for at least 3 weeks. So, if you want a 30 minute, piss poor manicure, then this is not the place for you. Judy is a one woman show. So, call ahead of time and schedule an appointment with her. Otherwise, you may be waiting for a while. Go and see Judy. She does not compromise on quality and I cannot say that enough! read more
