First of all, their Acai bowls are hands down THE BEST I've ever had anywhere on earth. A lot of other places blend the frozen Acai with bananas or something to spread it out, which is gross to me and I always notice. Juice Wave doesn't cut any corners and it shows! I get Acai bowls here several times a week.. It's an addiction! Also, this is one of the ONLY fresh ORGANIC juice places in PB! Trust me, I tried them all. They're the only place here that really cares about using great local farms as sources. I suggest trying any of the juices, but also get a shot of pressed ginger if you're brave enough. It's really spicy but so good for you and clears out your system. Great way to start a cleanse. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, I've never had a bad experience ordering from them. The effort that goes into sourcing their products deserves 5 stars itself, and you can really tell in the taste. I'm so glad Juice Wave opened up a store front here. We need more places like this in San Diego! read more

I love that they are maryland owned and packed with east coast natives(even a girl from Morgantown). This was the best açaí bowl I had on our Cali trip. I had the one with peanut butter and it was such a nice treat. They even split a bowl into 2 containers for me and my friend. The bowl was sooo fresh- I mean they cut the fruit in front of you to put into the bowl. For that reason, you do have to wait for a few minutes, but they provide personable conversation during the wait. Do yourself a favor and stop here while visiting Mission Beach! read more

Those acai bowls were ridiculously good! The owner goes to local farmers markets multiple times a week and said she only uses whatever is freshest and in-season. Last week, that meant strawberries, bananas, and local passionfruit. I found this little juice spot on my way to gone bananas swimwear shop. They have free samples set up. The shop is soo cute and tiny, it gives you a beachy feel. I came when they were closing at 5 and a worker named Arly was super friendly! She didn't try to rush me out and she gave me their store hours and also told me cool things they have to offer. I got a bottle of orange and grapefruit juice. It looks like a snapple bottle but has their fresh juice in there! Doesn't look cheap one bit and it was good!
