Mu Shu Pork aka Chinese Burrito

We have a confession to make. Rather uncomfortable. We have lived within walking distance of this joint for as long as it has existed and only recently gave it a go. Embarrassing, yet cleansing and cathartic. We got: Veggie egg rolls and cream cheese wontons. Mu Shu Pork. Kung Pao Chicken. Honey walnut shrimp. Egg Fried Rice. Chicken Chow Mein. They start you off with a plate of fried noodles...think Chinese chips and salsa. Shoyu at table, sweet and sour sauce provided, hot mustard upon request, the ubiquitous Sriracha also on table. Yeah, we weren't shy. All of it was tasty. We bagged about half of it to go. Large portions. Small place with just about half dozen tables. Very bustling take out scene. Excellent value for the amount of food you get. And, the service was great. You will not leave here hungry. The amount of food they crank out for takeout and sitdown orders is impressive.

We've been coming here for a long time and it's always so good! Tom, the owner is such a nice guy, always so kind and service is great. The food is always delicious and made to order, everything is always so fresh & flavorful. Inside is clean, and a nice place to have a lowkey lunch or dinner. If you are in HB or near, try Egg Roll King!

This is, by far, our favorite Chinese restaurant in Huntington Beach! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, exactly what you hope for in a great Chinese restaurant. The owner and staff are so friendly and exceptionally attentive, making every visit feel special. Whether you're dining in or ordering takeout, the food is consistently outstanding and absolutely delicious!!

Egg Roll King is so cute. It is not huge. Parking is easy. The prices are great. You can get egg rolls for as little as 3$ for 2 chicken ones. Yummy. We try to dine there, but we also deliver when we are in a hotel nearby or we do take away. All are great. The food comes fresh, hot and as ordered. The service is very nice and they are good with kids. You will like them. We just love their egg rolls and get them all whenever we are there, we just take the rest with us. They are great the next day. They have, Vegetable Egg Rolls (2) Chicken Egg Rolls, Pork Fried Wontons, Cream Cheese Wantons (not for me usually) and Fried Dumplings egg rolls. All are great. They also have wonderful fried rice and have a good selection. We love all their food. Their Kung Pu Shrimp is great. All of the main courses are very good. And again, super reasonable prices and great service.

1st time here and food was delicious! Will definitely be back! We all liked our dishes.

Stumbled upon here with an idea to get some Fried Rice. Well, we got chicken eggrolls, house fried rice, honey glazed walnut shrimp, Mongolian beef, and House chicken. All exceeded my expectations and were absolutely delicious! Definitely a must try place. By the way, portions are huge too. Their shrimps were ginormous!

I had an excellent dinner here with immediate family members. Vegetable Egg Rolls were moist inside and very good. A Small Hot & Sour Soup was excellent, with the caps of Button Mushroom bobbing on top, tofu, egg, and broth that had the perfect blend of sweet and sour notes. Fried Pork Dumplings were small but nicely constructed and very good in taste dipped in Plum Sauce, Sweet & Sour Sauce, and Hot Chili Oil. While others at my table split a Large Won Ton Soup and enjoyed extensive Mu Chu Chicken Wraps and House Special Chicken with Broccoli, Diane addressed her well-constructed and sweet Honey Walnut Shrimp, and I concentrated my attention on Shrimp in Lobster Sauce and Kung Pao Three Flavors (Beef, Chicken and Shrimp). Everything was tasty and washed down with Hot Tea. We had a veritable Chinese feast. Service was attentive and responsive, and our reserved table for six in front of the aquarium was quite comfortable. This was probably our best experience here!

If you want to get chow fun or something off these menus, order them first because they take a few minutes to cook. Chow mein and chow fun both had great wok hei and both come with massive portions. The meats aren't the highest quality and the beef is a bit tough, but the quantity and the price make up for it. Hot and sour soup was nice and sour and the large comes in a small bucket. Blessed to have graced this Chinese Takeout spot for the flavor, portion, and price. So much value. For one, the House Chicken was a hit. Sweet and savory with soft jalapenos. The BBQ Pork was tender, not like how most places have the dryest version of this (given some pieces were hard but most were juicy). The Fried Octopus was good value for seafood, but did not have too much flavor unless paired with the Sweet and Sour sauce. Chow Mein and Fried Rice are standard and solid. Exactly what you'd expect, and just enough flavor. I'd this should be your go-to for American-Chinese takeout if you are nearby. Plenty of people staffing the place and quick service, and crowded so you know it's good (and fresh from the turnover). Didn't expect it to have as big of a dining area as it did, so if you're into that they have it. Plenty of other options outside of the Classic Takeout dishes, like they have Chow Fun, which I'll be back go try. Shoutout to Lucky Chinese Food holding it down.
