This came out at 2pm but seems good

For $20 a person on the weekend, this place is pretty good. They have quite a bit for seafood - prawns, crawfish, mussels, sushi, sashimi, crab. Overall I liked - salmon sashimi and sushi - crawfish was tasty while small - salt and pepper prawns - prawns peeled with tail up - potato skin - hot sesame ball Good variety for the price and nice service. Didn't order drinks or tea as it was extra cost. They happily suggested hot water for us all which we accepted. Nice prompt service. We will be back again.

Location just opened 11/9/22. Juicy seafood replaced Cafe East, located at the corner of Hwy6 and Dulles. The set up is practically the same. The pricing is pretty fair for the options. Came early on a Saturday Evening and wasn't busy at all. Started to do up the dinner crowd about 630-7pm when we left. They still have that private back room with a large screen. Looked like it was being used for karaoke at one point. Here's a rundown of what I can recall from what was served on our Saturday dinner: Seafood options: - Baked Mussels - Steamed Clams - Shrimp prepared in multiple ways [black pepper, fried, buttered shrimp, popcorn shrimp]. Only thing missing was cocktail shrimp. - Fried prawns - Fried Fish - Crawfish with a mix of shrimp and Mussels - Soft shell crab - Steamed fish - Vermicelli and Scallops [my favorite] - Fried squid Other hot bar items: typical of a Chinese buffet - Lo Mein - Fried Rice - Beef and Broccoli - Sautéed chicken - Chinese Egg roll - Fried Chicken - Potato Wedges - Fried Corn poppers - Fried Sweet Bread [kids were a fan] - Texas Toast - Crab Rangoon - Steamed veggies Dim Sum Bar - Chicken Feet - Banh bao [BBQ pork bun] - Steamed Pork Ribs - Sticky Rice in Banana Leaf - Chinese Broccoli Soups - Seafood Soup (same texture of the crab Maw Soup) - Hot and Sour Soup Sushi Bar - Various Rolls: mostly traditional - Sashimi: Salmon, Yellowtail - Sushi: Eel, Tuna - Edemame - Seaweed Salad Salad/ fruit Bar - Lettuce, dressings [ranch and Italian] - Random toppings: cheese, raisins, bacon, egg, and I think chicken cubes(?) - Kim Chi - Tomato, Cucumber, Red onion vinaigrette salad Dessert - Chocolate Cake - Strawberry pudding - Jello - Fruits: oranges and honey dew. Also had pineapple and peaches but definitely came from a can. - Individualized Ice cream cups: Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry sundae, Chocolate sundae When we walked in, the hostess wasn't very welcoming. I don't think she even said anything to us. I just asked if we needed to check in with her or just seat ourselves. She just nodded and I told her our party. She sat us in a booth. The chairs felt new as they were quite firm. The hostess also asked what we'd like to drink without really informing us of any options so I just defaulted to sweet tea and waters. Btw, the water tastes straight up unfiltered tap. We made sure our kids drank from their water we brought from home. Our waitress was attentive to clean off used and finished plates. She even checked if I wanted a refill on my drink. Overall pretty decent and my kids enjoyed the options. I remember my parents taking us to Cafe East often with other family when I was young. Not many, if any, Chinese buffet options in the Sugar Land/Missouri City area so I'm sure it will do just fine. Nothing crazy spectacular about the place. Just the typical Asian buffet. Some suggestions I hope they would consider is to have extra silverware or utensils for guests to grab if desired. There were no Soup spoons readily available. Also would have liked to get new utensils at times without hunting down the wait staff. There wasn't any plain white rice available that I noticed. I did note a little concern that seafood can get messy and eating with your hands. Seeing other guests dig into their crawfish, crab, and peeling shrimp then licking their fingers. I was just thinking how people would return to the bar with filthy or not properly cleaned hands and touching the shared tongs to get more food. So I'd recommend to bring your own hand sanitizer or wipes. Or they could provide wipes at the table. Or providing gloves we can use to eat our seafood. Though they just opened, I do hope they add to their offerings of something unique. Probably more dependent on the season but like having dungeons crab or lobster (crab legs when available). Even if it's only 1 per person in the price. On our exit, another guest entering did ask how it was and if we'd return. We did happily say yes.

Very clean and well stocked Asian buffet with an emphasis on seafood. We received great service from the staff on Thanksgiving Day for our family of 25. Food was very fresh and tasty, with many savory options, including sushi and sashimi. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

Sorta disappointed in this new Chinese buffet restaurant near where I live. Don't let the name "juicy seafood" fool you. They do NOT have a wide variety of seafood and the buffet lines are just what one usually finds at any ordinary Chinese buffet restaurants in town. They DO have scallops steamed in the shell with cellophane noodles but they run out super fast. Lacking desserts. sad.

Cabbage and shrimp, fried blue crab, salt n pepper shrimp, mushrooms, crab wonton, seafood pancakes, and crawfish. Overall Yummy!

I was pleasantly surprised during my first visit on July 7, 2023. The food selection and quality was very good. There were only a few items that I tried that were not very tasty, to me personally. However, overall I would definitely go back there to eat. Two friends went today on my recommendation so I'm waiting on their thoughts. The employees were attentive to keeping the buffet area tidy and restocked. Our waitstaff kept our table clear of used plates and dirty napkins. She was quick and quiet to the point of me not seeing her until I realized my used plate had disappeared. I hope the restaurant does well because I miss having just such a restaurant nearby. By the way, there's a really nice private dining area with capacity of up to 80 people. I was curious so I checked it out after I finished eating.

I heard about this buffet from my friends and wanted to try this place out. I went during the weekend and it was 19.99 which I thought was a pretty decent price for the buffet. Juicy seafood buffet is your typical Chinese buffet. It has a wide variety of options. Don't come here without a big appetite. They have tables and chairs but also comfortable booth to allow you to relax and enjoy this experience. In addition the restaurant, is pretty big and can accommodate big parties. When I went it was crawfish season so they had crawfish, shrimp, crab, dim sum, chicken, pork, and beef options. They have many different type of dish that can cater to whoever has an appetite. Services was pretty good as every time I got up to get more food my plate was gone before I was back. Although it is self service, I felt like the waiter was still present and helpful. To sum it up, this place is pretty good with today economy. You pay like a decent price for all these delicious food. There are many options that you can choose from until you are stuffed.

Good variety of food, very tasty. has at least 3 types of shrimp, fish, chicken, and beef. Cook seafood are their strong suit, not so much sushi section. Overall good for the price. There's also happy hour for senior citizens weekday!

It's more of a Chinese buffet than a seafood buffet. Check the buffet before purchasing.

While they don't offer lakeside seating, there are plenty of options inside the spacious, two-story restaurant. On the weekends, they indicate "No lunch AYCE" - don't be confused by the wording like we were. This only means that they don't offer the "lunch price" AYCE on the weekends. No biggie, as the dinner price/menu was perfectly fine and opened up more options for us to order. Lunch price AYCE does not offer sashimi (nigiri only), whereas dinner price AYCE has the whole menu as fair game. Some of the menu items do have limits, like the toro (1 piece/adult AYCE). Additionally, each person can order a max of 10 nigiri or sashimi per round. You also only get 1 serving of dessert per AYCE. They also have a silly rule of $0.50 per uneaten rice for nigiri; I suppose this encourages folks to fill up on rice in the nigiri, as sashimi is not an option during weekday lunch AYCE. Our party of 5 ordered a multitude of items on the menu. The fish quality was definitely there and everything tasted fresh. We ordered a few rounds of the seared nigiri, specialty nigiri, and sushi towers. Standouts were eel/unagi sashimi, crunch garlic & scallion salmon nigiri, seared Kobe beef nigiri, seared tuna nigiri, and seared yellowtail nigiri. These were the ones we ordered multiple rounds, but we made an honest attempt to at least try as much of the menu offerings as we could. If only our stomachs had more room! I will say the hot/cooked items (bulgogi, galbi, beef skewer) could have been better...but what can you say, this is a sushi restaurant. That doesn't speak for all of the hot items. I really liked the basil chicken nuggets (Taiwanese popcorn chicken) and vegetable tempura; the shrimp tempura was also a hit at the table. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive throughout our time. At times we'd forget what we had ordered of the many items, so he'd swing by the table once the food was brought out to tell us what's what, and who ordered what. Excellent service! For AYCE sushi, Oma is definitely on top of its game. I've been to a few others around Houston, and this one stands out as one of the premium ones in my opinion. Come for lunch and eat to your heart's desire, and if you're like me, you won't eat for another 30 hours.

The nigiris also had a good consistent fish to rice ratio. Calamari - batter was too thick and the squid was a little chewy Ika salad - pleasantly surprised this was on the menu and was decent Salmon tower - kind of like poke, one of my favorite appetizers Pepper tuna nachos - alright, nothing to write home about Salmon lover & Hawaii rolls - I preferred the salmon roll. The Hawaii roll was a bit too mushy. Overall, wouldn't recommend the rolls when you can eat the nigiri Salmon/eel/salmon belly/yellowtail nigiri were great! I tried the squid nigiri which was SO slimey I wanted to throw up. I am not sure if that's the typical texture but I don't recommend. The octopus was very fishy in taste. Service - the waiters were very helicopter-y. They passed by legitimately every 15 seconds, it was a bit too much. Our waiter also input our order wrong but was kind about it. Wait - on a weekday at 2p, it was about 5 min wait! Overall, it's pretty good but I don't see myself making this far drive when there are other closer ayce sushi spots to me!

He's been telling me about this place for a while, so I came in already expecting great sushi, and it definitely delivered. First off, they have all-day happy hour, which is always a win. We started with the yellowtail sashimi, and it was incredibly fresh and flavorful such a great way to kick things off. For drinks, he ordered a Legend Old Fashioned, and I went with the lychee martini... and yes, I had two because it was that good light, slightly sweet, and super refreshing. For our rolls, I got the Hot Momma roll and he had the Julie Crunch roll. Everything came out perfectly fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they put care into both the quality and the experience. Also, shoutout to Emilio he was so sweet and attentive throughout the night and really made the experience even better. The service was quick and friendly. The place was very clean. They played a video on a screen that we were facing that had a first person view of walking through Japan...probably Tokyo. That brought back memories. It was a nice touch. We ordered green tea, which came with its own warmer. Not as hot as I like, but the tea stayed warm through the entire meal. This looked like legit matcha rather than just tea bags in hot water. For the meal, we had tonkatsu ramen and the spicy duck ramen. We loved them both. The tonkatsu wasn't fried in a batter. It was thinly sliced with nice carmelized edges--very good. The duck was amazing! Next time, we'll try some sushi.

It was good, flavorful, and had a nice spice level but it wasn't wowing. My boyfriend and I shared the General Tso's chicken, and that was a 10 out of 10. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside. It came with white rice and everything paired really well together. This is the second place I've gone to that has great General Tso's chicken, and that is definitely a compliment. I would absolutely order it again. We also tried the "Honey moon" appetizer which is a stuffed jalapeño. It had crab and cream cheese with eel sauce. The jalapeño was too crunchy for me, my preference is to have it softer but I feel like the flavor wasn't really there. One of the standout appetizers was the beef tongue from the appetizer menu. That was a 10 out of 10. It came with a sauce on top that was really good and brought everything together perfectly. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer as well. The shrimp itself was decent, but the fried coating tasted like the oil wasn't very fresh. It was crunchy, but the flavor of the oil came through, so I'd rate that about a 5 out of 10. We also ordered fried calamari . I'd rate that around a 6 out of 10. It was okay, but when you bit into it, the octopus would slide out and leave you mostly with the fried outer crust, and the crust itself wasn't that flavorful. The ambiance was beautiful, very clean, modern, and nicely designed. It felt comfortable and well put together. Service was fine, nothing that stands out.
