Very tiny, cute, little specialty chocolate/candy shop in Julian. We stumbled upon this while roaming the streets of Julian last weekend. Not a huge selection, not a big store but what we bought was very good. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. We were in, shopped, paid and out enjoying snacks for theday. Ordered the birthday cake little chocolate balls and some spicy green apple rings. Both were delicious! Check this place out for a little sugar fix.

I ordered my wedding cake from Yesenia and WOW, I could not have loved it anymore! Not only was it beautifully decorated, it was delicious! I ordered a sample box with different cake flavors and they were all sooo good! I ultimately settled for her version of funfetti and it was a hit! Not only was the cake amazing all around, she is also the sweetest! I wish I lived closer to order cakes from here more often!

Many thanks to Juliantla for replacing our bar with a fresh new one!

Vegan apple pie, drinking chocolate and more chocolate!

Adorable little shop nestled at the far end on the first floor of Main street and worth a stop. They have an AMAZING vegan apple pie that is to die for, or if you're just looking for an apple pie that is just less sweet than what they serve at Mom's or Julian Pie Co this is worth a try. Ingredients are wholesome and freshly baked. Cost is a $20 per pie that is slightly smaller than Mom's/JPC however great things come in small packages and there is a whole lot of quality in this pie. Additionally they have an amazing variety of chocolates that are not mainstream. I love this store as an addition to the all the offerings on Main street in Julian. Must stop and check out Juliantla Chocolate.

    Dulce de Leche!

Dulce de Leche birthday cake!! It was my sister's birthday and a friend who lives in Julian brought this cake to the celebration. When I tell you the cake was rich, without being too sweet, dense yet moist, and the icing is a perfect compliment, please don't take my word for it and go buy it and try it for yourself! There was joy, love, and happiness in each bite. Beautiful expression of love! Thank you Juliantla! I can't wait to try the chocolates!!

This shop has gourmet Belgian dark chocolate handmade to perfection! I definitely recommend the Strawberry Truffle a unique flavor experience you won't forget with tart strawberry surrounded by melt in your mouth dark chocolate. I also enjoyed the dark chocolate cashew bar with its rich flavor and large chunks of well distributed unsalted cashews. Check out this shop just off Main Street the owner used to be a pastry chef and has transition wonderfully to confectioner if you ask me!

AMBIANCE Parking: Street parking in downtown Julian. It can get pretty busy based on the time and season. Vibes: Welcome to Julian! A small town feel as you can experience almost everything within a block. However there are also some cool bars/farms to explore around to. The Cider Mill itself is in the heart of downtown Julian. Shelves filled with jams, preserves, candies, local honey, nuts, dried fruits, and all kinds of nostalgic treats. FOOD / DRINKS Apple Boysenberry Cider (Recommend) I'm a fan of apple but a fan of all seasonal flavors. I enjoyed the sweetness and light tart of the berry flavor - a nice depth of tanginess that just felt lively. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and welcoming. Ondean served me a sample of the drinks and they were great! TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Good selections, good products, and a pleasant experience. I love the small town feel as they're attentive with the details and interaction. Julian Cider Mill isn't anything flashy just your good old reliable snack shop when you need it. TIPS * Great place to stop and go for snacks, cooking flavors, or samples like their ciders!

As we walked in, I was so impressed with how many products they were offering. Lots of different honeys, candies, ciders, sauces, pickled vegetables, toys, beef jerky, snacks, and so much more. Absolutely, loved the samples of apple ciders. They were offering cherry and boysenberry flavors. We enjoyed the boysenberry cider so we had to get a cup of it. Although, I felt it was pricey for a small cup of cider where I gulp it in a minute. Really refreshing since it was a nice day out in Julian. The staff were very inviting and nice. Store is small, so when it got busy we had to leave. Worth checking out when you are looking for something to do in Julian.

We already got our pie fix at Mom's, but made this our last stop before heading out. It was so cold out, a super chilly day, there's nothing more perfect than to grab a hot cup of steaming Apple Cider! It hit the spot! I couldn't stop just standing there sipping my hot cider while waiting for our to go items to be prepared. We got two apple cider donuts, one cinnamon sugar and one chocolate dipped. Long ago, I tried these tiny heart shaped pie crust cookies covered in cinnamon and sugar - Apple Memories! These are crisp tiny bites of love that you want to take home every single time! There are actually two buildings. One where you can grab a bite to eat, the other has all the merchandise, and both have whole frozen pies to grab to go! The building where you can dine has a small inside dining area, it can get cozy in there, but on a chilly day, that is exactly what you want! Just outside there is plenty of room outdoors to enjoy the scenery. In the merchandise building I couldn't help myself... we took home a whole gallon of apple cider, and also bought a jar of Cinnamon Apple Honey Spread and a jar of Apple butter... absolute yum! The hubs also decided to try the apple cinnamon chapstick! Yes, you can grab one of these famous pies at many different establishments throughout San Diego. To make name a few, Iowa Farms, Spring Valley Market, Siesel's and even at Vons! But if you're in Julian, don't forget to try a pie, grab some Apple Memories, and don't forget to bring a hot thermos to take that hot Apple cider to go! Enjoy!!! Simply the Best! Maggie misses the fresh baked fruit bars and were soft and full of sweet fruit flavor.  Cashier told us they are only baked on Saturday now.  We touched the fruit bars and they were all hard from sitting around half the week.  It's sad as we loved stopping here after a trip to Julian for fresh baked treats and Doc Brown's Root Beer.  Looks like we will have to buy all our baked treats at one of the Julian bakeries like Apple Alley that bakes their pies every morning.  https://www.hungryones.com/2021/10/apple-alley-bakery/ Staff was nice and efficient.
