    Omelette and basic breakfast

Update: my partner and I were catching a flight on Thanksgiving Day 2023. My entree (not pictured) was not nearly as good. Same server/bartender as before but different attitude. Watched other folks struggle with mobile ordering as it was in the window of time where breakfast was available but the website felt only lunch item orders should go in to the kitchen. We could not complete paying on the site despite trying multiple cards and being patient.

View of Mt. Hood from the bar!

We came here while waiting for a flight at PFX recently, and what a find! The lounge has a view of Mt. Hood on a clear day, and the drinks are strong enough to put you into a mellow mood before your evening flight. Talk to the bartender about what you like and they'll point you in the right direction. Sip slowly, and enjoy!

Service was great and quick. Food was good and portion sizes are great. I had breakfast and the biscuits are INCREDIBLE! Great place to come have a nice sit down breakfast before a long flight.

I would give this place 5 stars for service and drinks, and like 3.5 stars for food. Positives: I loved the decor and all the fun drink options. Terra, the bartender, was super friendly and knowledgeable. The chicken rice bowl (I think it was chipotle chicken) was well spiced. Cons: The chicken as mentioned in other reviews was so salty as to be inedible almost. The rice itself was also really salty but a little more manageable. Definitely will be my go-to place for drinks in Terminal E, though I may try something else for food next time.

What a cool hidden gem restaurant/bar at PDX, Concourse E (for e-mazing). I tried their W.A.S.P. cocktail - full of flavor and a gorgeous green fresh take on a margarita with great balance. I also tried their beyond veggie burger and fries - also extremely well prepared and fresh - I ate the entire thing - which made for a happier flight out of PDX. While it is at the end of the E Gates (E11) The space is definitely the "WOW" cool factor - you totally forget you are at an airport. I love the ambiance and sexy furniture, but casual and inviting at the same time. They also thought ahead with big open windows and plenty of outlet plugs. I think it would be great for a solo traveler or a small group. They also feature local beer and wine on draft - can't ask for more.

At the end of terminal E, worth the walk!

Quite possibly the best wedge salad and geocaching wings I have ever had. It was busy and service was a little slow but it was with a smile and genuine customer service.

Chipotle chicken bowl included really yummy wild rice, corn, peppers, flavorful chicken, & chipotle sauce. Enjoyed with Sauvignon Blanc.

My only complaint about the location is the operating hours. Being in an airport terminal that has regular evening flights, some of which often get delayed or canceled, it would be nice if the business stayed open a little bit longer. Thankfully, I arrived in time to enjoy a meal and a glass of wine, which made it easier to receive the news that my flight was canceled. The service was great, the food had lots of flavor, a decent choice at PDX!

Stopped here while waiting for my flight at PDX. The bar is really cool looking and my drink was very good. I can't remember what it was called but it had apricot liqueur and pineapple juice. The food was extremely okay. They took a while to come to my table, but once they came the service was very good. I recommend coming here for a preflight drink.

    Lol at that view

Finally getting to try this little Diamond at the PDX Airport. Loving the views and everything!!!

I travel a bit and have had several "meals" in many airports. This little gem at the very end of the Southwest terminal, directly across from gate E12 was worth the walk. The bartender was so friendly and immediately directed me towards several tables and instead of needing to scan the QR code, he asked the server to hand me a hard copy. Maria was my server and she could not have been more friendly, with a very kind demeanor about her. Water in a crystal cut glass, where am I, at The Ritz?! Good burger, crispy and tasty fries, but the best thing was the service...STELLAR!!

    Meet the inspiration.

What an awesome, stylish new bar that just opened in Terminal E. In fact, this bar would be a destination even if it wasn't in an airport. I love that it's themed around women in aviation and feels like you've gone back in time to when flying was actually an occasion. Juliett is at the very end of the terminal so you get great views of Mt Hood on clear days. We loved their wonderfully vintage cocktails and great selection of beers from Fracture Brewing. Highly recommend you stop by to refuel and raise a toast to women in aviation!

    Super decor.

We were attracted by the cool decor. We are frequent Southwest flyers so Portland's concourse E is our new usual haunt. We did not have much time so I ordered a hamburger. Much to my delight, it was not overcooked. The sautéed onions were perfect on the burger. It was a really good burger. Nice server too. I recommend it.

One of the rudest bartenders I think I've ever interacted with. In addition to that, the glass pour was very small. Do not recommend.

Special shout out to the kitchen staff for big multitasking energy: watching the game, closing out the place, and firing out some amazing food. Wilder's near-close happy hour offerings were both tasty and generous. Cocktails featured offerings from local distillers that yielded complex flavors but nothing that was "trying too hard" to be artisanal. Also Made my date's night that they were using polenta as a bun.

We walked in at about 6:30pm on a Wednesday night and was kind of greeted by one of the servers. She wasn't too friendly and seemed to be irritated that we said we'd wait for a table as opposed to sitting at the bar. Once seated, that same server came over to try to take our orders and once again seemed irritated that we weren't ready to order. Luckily, another server took over from there and we had a pleasant anniversary meal the rest of the time! Here's everything we tried: Devilish Eggs - This came with 4 deviled eggs and was just okay. The crispy bacon pieces was the best part of this dish! Steak Tartare - This was the main reason we chose this restaurant and we were definitely not disappointed! We spent our first anniversary together in Europe and had so much tartare and this really brought back some wonderful memories for us. The tartare was rich and mustardy, beef flavor was great, and it sort of just melted in your mouth. The crispy chips paired well with the tartare and I can't wait to come back and have this again! Mussels - This was a big bowl of mussels in a white wine garlic sauce with toasted baguettes. Mussels tasted fresh and garlicky with just a bit of funk from whatever cheese they grated on top. The toasted baguettes were so good dipped into that white wine broth. I wish this dish came with skinny fries but it was also so good as is. Would definitely order this again! Field Greens - I asked for this to come out with my meal but it came out about 10 minutes before the entrees came out. It was very light and refreshing. I saved half to have with my meal but most of it was wilted already by the time our mains came out. But it's okay! The fried chicken actually had a small portion of this salad on its plate. I wouldn't have ordered this had I known, so next time will skip the side salad altogether! Fried chicken - I really wanted to like this dish but alas, fried chicken breast is very hard to make juicy. I definitely prefer dark meat because that's harder to mess up. My partner enjoyed it but he doesn't mind dry chicken. The sauces were phenomenal! That mustard sauce was great and the sweet glaze was delicious! The potatoes would have been a lot better if they were smaller to get more of that crust to creamy potato ratio but still okay the way it was. My fiance cleaned this plate up! Brown Butter Cake - This cake was phenomenal! It's hard to mess anything with Brown Butter up so I had really high expectations for this and they certainly did not disappoint. The server was nice enough to throw candles on it since we were celebrating and it really ended our meal on the sweetest note! The restaurant itself is small and cozy. A bit dark and romantic. It really reminded me of the small bistros in France that we frequented while we were out there. We'll definitely be back to try other things on the menu!

We waited 10 minutes before we were taken to our seats. It seems as though there were enough tables to accommodate the long wait line, but not enough staffing. We understood. Our waitress gave us our menu and we looked through the menu. She came back shortly and took our order. We ordered the king pao calamari to share. My husband ordered the Parmesan encrusted halibut and I ordered the wood fire grilled rib eye steak. The kung pao calamari came with cauliflower. It was okay, the kung pao sauce was a bit too powerful for the sweetness of the calamari. I would lighten up the sauce lightly. The Parmesan encrusted halibut came with tomato paste, along with califlower, green beans and potatoes. I had a quick taste and it was okay. My dish came with smashed potatoes and asparagus which is a great pairing. The steak was cooked to perfection and I liked the smashed potatoes. The restaurant has a lot of searings, and nice decor. There are lots of views of the River which sets the ambiance for the night.

I wasn't expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised by the food, drink, and especially the friendly and helpful employees of the lounge. My wife, her mom, and I came to the Escape lounge in Concourse D on a Saturday, and were greeted by a super friendly and chipper attendant who checked us in. There are many ways to gain entry, two of which I had privileges: via Priority Pass (provided by Chase Sapphire Reserve) and via American Express access (provided by the AMEX Delta Reserve if flying on a Delta flight). Unlike the nearby Delta Skyclub, one can enter even if on a Delta Basic ticket. It was easier using Priority Pass since those come with 2 additional guests, but did confirm that if there are capacity constraints, the AMEX guests would get priority. Once approved, an elevator (or stairs) must be taken up to enter the lounge. Once you enter, there are complementary lockers to store your stuff. The middle of the room has a small wooden rotunda, mimicking the style of the wooden ceiling at the airport. There is a small buffet with non-traditional choices (this day it was Indian, with butter chicken and naan, and other choices like sandwiches). A nice waiter came around to ask if I wanted a drink (I obliged with a local pils), and kept coming back to refill as I finished. The beer was very good, confirming how good the local beer here is in Portland. The bathrooms are nice but small, with full coverage stalls. Some people were asking about the sleeping rooms, and were told that it's first come/first serve. As I was leaving, I noticed how relaxed I was, before heading to board the plane. It definitely had a lot to do with the niceness of the employees at the airport, especially the folks at the Escape lounge.
