mango and sticky rice. SO GOOD!
    David T.

Great place, we loved it!! The crispy basil salmon was an 8/10 very interesting this was the the only item we could skip next time. The Chinese brocoli and crispy pork was amazing, great combination of flavors and textures 10/10 Pad thai was our 2nd favorite we got a medium heat chicken and it was perfectly balanced. 10/10 Our favorite was the red curry, Woohoo was this a flavor bomb, we ate every bite. 10/10 About to have mango and sticky rice for desert but wow what a great experience. The service was stellar, the restaurant is clean and beautiful. We will be back! Thank you for the meal

The restaurant is very clean and well decorated. They recently upgraded dining tables and chairs which are much more comfortable. The staff are nice and fast with orders. The food is freshly made and delicious. We tried many dishes as shown. Our most favorites are papaya salad with shrimps, onchoy, and beef salad. But other dishes are also good. Call in advance if you have big party.

Love this place!! My office and I love the lunch special pad thai paired with the jasmine ice tea. The best jasmine I've tasted at a restaurant hands down. The staff is friendly and got our take out ready for pick up super quick! If dining in they'll have their side salad and soup of the day to go along with your lunch special. It gets packed at times but isn't too loud. Parking can get hard to find so be mindful. Overall their food never disappoints and is always a hit in my office!

Been on a pad thai crave and Jumpa thai definitely fulfilled my craving. Ive been here 2 weeks in a row for lunch, 1st time I got seafood pad thai and the 2nd time i've gotten shrimp pad thai. The pad thai here is saucy which I love, good amount of sweetness and tang, portion size pretty good also. I love that the spice rack is right on the table for you also. Overall solid pad thai, i do prefer the shrimp pad thai over the seafood pad thai.

My family and I have visited this place multiple times while growing up as I have so many memories here. I noticed the menu has Vietnamese translations to accommodate the large Vietnamese population in Garden Grove. Fish Cake (5/5): I always think this is the most underrated Thai appetizer. It's soft with the great hint of spice in it. Papaya Salad (5/5): Very refreshing with a packed umami flavor. The crunchiness squeezes out all the amazing flavor when you bite into it. Manila Clams w/basil leaf (4/5): I really liked how flavorful the black bean sauce was. It was coated with salt and pepper. The clams were not as plumped as I hoped though. Tom Yom Soup (5/5); Must get this with rice! I was perfectly sour and sweet. The mushroom was also very delicious Chicken Pad Thai (4/5): Very standard pad Thai, but still very yummy. It was comforting with the taste that reminds you of your childhood.

Why do Thai restaurants think it's okay to talk about their customers in front of them in Thai and think it's okay? I mean, luckily most of their customers don't understand them because they all happily stayed and ordered their food but it upset me a lot. The place is huge, looks like it can easily host busy weekends without a wait, but is it worth it? Prices are about $12-20 per item, which is steep for the portion size. We tried to eat everything "family style" but we didn't think the portions were worth it. And we paid regular prices, not their lunch prices. I know this is a long standing neighborhood gem but it's definitely just okay to me. Sanamluang still has my heart and I'll gladly drive to Claremont for it from OC.

This place is definitely a hidden gem! I've driven past this spot 20 years of my life and decided to stop by on a whim with my family. When you first enter, the establishment is clean, spacious, and welcoming. We were instantly greeted and got seated. We ordered a few things; pad thai, pad see ew. pineapple fried rice, and the cream cheese wontons. The portions are very generous and tasted amazing! All the food was freshly made and they didn't skimp out on the protein in the entrees. I would highly recommend coming to this spot, it'll be your new favorite thai place.

Ordered chicken pad see ew and mango sticky rice to go. Chicken pad see ew was amazing! But $13 for this mango sticky rice????? Crazy. The size is very underwhelming for this price.

My family and I have been going to Jumpa Thai since they first opened. Since I was a kid, this has been our go-to restaurant for any special occasion. After trying other places, we believe they have the BEST Thai food! Staff is also great and kind :) In my opinion, the dishes are well-seasoned, never lacking or overwhelming. It's just right for us! I will say that what's been disappointing is that the portions have shrunk over the years with increased pricing :( BUT the flavor has been consistent!

Came here on a Sunday before they opened and waited for the rest of my party to arrive. Last time I had come here was in 2022. The restaurant is clean and servers are attentive. We were able to get separate checks. I ordered the combination pad thai which presentation wise looked great. There was pork, beef, shrimp and chicken. Not sure if there was any tofu. It was good, but I could only eat 1/3 as it was way too sweet for me. There was much too much sauce. I think half the amount of sauce would've been perfect

I've been coming to Jumpa Thai for 5 years now and I gotta say, they keep up with their staple quality. It is already a famous spot for Thai food in Garden Grove area, mostly because of their flavors. What I like about their Curry is that it is not too liquidy and you can taste the curry flavor, not just the coconut milk. Pad Thai has very good portion, not too sweet, and I been having it for lunch for years, still want to order every other week. Very nice and awesome service. The servers are all attentive and friendly, make sure to check on you, which is a plus. Also recommend their: Boat noodle soup, Tom Kha and Tom Yum. One pros is they have lunch special deal that is only $11 or $12 if you order at the lunch time range. ( notes: lunch special portion is smaller than regular portion). Overall, my comfort and go-to Thai place in local OC areas.

Best Pad Thai in town, seriously! The noodles are filled with so much flavor and cooked to perfection. I always order it with chicken and hands down never lets me down. The yellow curry is also devine. Service is not the best here especially from a gentleman server idk his name lol I always feel so rushed and feel like Im bothering when I asked for chili. Lmao. Same guy when I ordered to go, I wasn't provided with utensils or napkins. If I went straight home, then I woulda been fine but I went straight to the hospital where there wasn't any utensils. I had to leave and grab some from a restaurant across the street lol. OH WELL! I come for the food not the service!

DJ at Jumpa Thai is everything, kind, generous, and top-tier hospitality. Made the whole experience unforgettable!

Had to run this back twice in 24 hours, that's how good it is! Jumpa Thai is serving up seriously delicious food that hits every time. And DJ? Top-tier hospitality,so kind, generous, and made the whole experience feel special. Already planning my next visit!

The interior is quite spacious, with vibrant yellow and green chairs that create a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a Vietnamese café. We ordered the Mango Chè and Thai Chè. The Mango Chè leaned more toward a smooth mango purée with fewer fresh mango cubes than expected, while the Thai Chè was exactly what I had hoped for. One thoughtful touch was the presentation--the ice was served separately, allowing the dessert portion to remain generous without being diluted or taking up space in the bowl. The only downside was the seating area along the side wall. Several of the seat cushions appeared quite worn and noticeably dirty, which detracted from the overall dining experience. Soft jazz music played throughout the café, creating a peaceful ambiance that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the space. One of my favorite things about this café was the variety of drinks available. There were so many interesting options to choose from, and I decided to try the Sakura Latte. It was beautifully presented and had a delicate floral flavor that was both unique and refreshing. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into both the taste and presentation of the drinks. The dessert display was equally impressive. The cake case was filled with a variety of beautiful, aesthetic-looking cakes and pastries that immediately caught my attention. Everything looked carefully crafted and almost too pretty to eat. Even if you're not planning on ordering dessert, it's worth taking a look at the display because it's truly eye-catching. The café is also incredibly photogenic. There are plenty of aesthetic corners, cute décor elements, and picture-perfect spots throughout the space, making it great for Instagram photos. The combination of natural lighting and tasteful interior design creates a welcoming environment that's both stylish and comfortable. They also offer a 30% off student discount which is so generous! Yummy Bakery July 13, 2026…read moreThis morning, I passed by Yummy Bakery to grab some breakfast. As I waited for my order, I noticed a homeless person enter the store; he stood in line holding a cup of noodles. He asked the lady at the front counter for hot water for his cup of noodles. Without hesitation, the lady at the counter took the cup of noodles from him, poured hot water in it, and gave him a spoon. The homeless person said, "Thank you." He then walked outside, standing on the side of the bakery and eating his cup of soup. I can't help but mention this act of kindness shown to that homeless man. I come to Yummy Bakery regularly to buy crispy roast pork Banh Mi, baked cassava, salted duck egg steamed bun, mam chung, matcha tofu pudding, and lots of other baked breads and drinks they offer.
