They have a well-run doordash operation (it arrived hot!) and their pizza did hit the spot during our 4-hour layover at JNU. However, the pizza is lacking in some crucial regards. The crust is weirdly dense and doesn't feel properly leavened, and the "Italian sausage" is not at all Italian. This makes it not quite seem like a proper pizza as a snob from the Northeast. First of all I really really wanted to like this place. I was excited to hear that they got new owners and was looking forward to a good pizza shop nearby. Unfortunately this is not the case. I ordered it the other night and its as bad as the old shop. I don't think they changed anything. The garlic cheese bread is ok but the pizza/marina sauce that came with it is so plain it tasted like dishwater. I am guessing this is what goes on the pizza because its flavorless. The crust is thick and doughy and the toppings are mediocre. Owners - Please go to Island Pub and try their pizza or go to Whitehorse and hit Whisky Jacks or G&P pizza and copy it. The old Juneau pizza went out of business for a reason- mediocre/bad pizza. The service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable, but there are better options in town if you're seeking truly memorable pizza. I was actually surprised by how "store bought" this pizza tasted because you can see them making your pizza "fresh." Yet, it doesn't taste fresh. The crust is bland, and the toppings leave a lot to be desired. It's a bit tricky to find if you're not a local. It's inside their mall. It's a cute little restaurant with limited seating. We ordered to go at the restaurant, and it only took 15 to 20 minutes, so I'd say they have pretty quick service. I wish I could give more stars, but I wouldn't eat here again. Overall, it's an okay choice if you're in the area and craving pizza, but set your expectations appropriately. read more

If you're looking for pizza in Juneau then you come here. In an area that's limited in pizza options, it's nice to have a place that shows effort in putting out good quality food. Can't believe I haven't been here before but I'm a bit picky about my pizza. Finally stopped in as it was around lunchtime and we were running errands in the Mendenhall Mall. There was one guy working behind the counter and it was busy but he was not messing around. He took orders promptly, made pizzas, and served people like clockwork. We ordered two slices of pepperoni and omg. Slightly thicker crust than a NYC slice but the crust is crunchy and holds up all the toppings and sauce without being floppy (which is the absolute worst). I ordered the supreme to go and heated it up for lunch the next day. Still delicious. The toppings were plentiful, the crust stayed crunchy and not floppy, the sauce was on point. read more

My Dad and I were staying at a hotel within walking distance of Juneau Pizza and we decided there was no better night for pizza than the night before we departed for Glacier Bay National Park. We walked over to the pizzeria and placed our order. The place was pretty busy with phone orders coming in but the woman working the cashier managed both efficiently. In terms of menu: there are plenty of options, sizes, and sides but we went with the standard cheese and pepperoni. The dining room is relatively spacious for a pizzeria and we decided to wait there for the pizza to be ready. We brought it back to the hotel and ate to our hearts content. The pizza was great - excellent ratio of cheese/pep/sauce/crust and not too greasy. Really cooked nicely. We even had a couple extra slices that tasted even better the following day, consumed in Glacier Bay! If you ask me, pizza always makes for a great dinner and Juneau Pizza did not disappoint! read more

Saw all the great reviews and was looking forward to trying an actual slice parlor, but sadly the reviews didn't live up to its expectations. The booths and floors themselves need a little updating since it is decorated 1970s style (maybe unintentionally). The slices came out quick but the cheese was hard like it had been left sitting in the warmer. Other's full-sized pizzas were nice and gooey with melted cheese. And for the price we paid ($8 for two slices of pizza), we would've been better off getting a large frozen pizza from Costco for 8 bucks read more

I don't think that their pizza is for me. I was surprised that double pepperoni looked more like a normal amount. I didn't really care for the crust. It was a hand tossed with lots of exposed crust. Red sauce was ok, might have been over powered by the ricotta. I didn't feel like there was anything special about it, kinda blah. The pictures posted are accurate to their pies. So I'm a pizza snob. I've been visiting Juneau for a couple days and I've been hesitant to order pizza because I like what I like. So after reading some yelp reviews I picked Juneau pizza. I was over-the-top the pizza is delicious. I ordered the ultimate Hawaiian. The cheese tastes great the crust is mild has a great crunch. The Canadian bacon is delicious not that standard crap that you get. Lots of pineapple. Overall I'm very pleased. The pizza was definitely on the expensive side but that's the way it is in Juneau from what I've seen. Give them a try the staff are really nice. The pizza parlor itself is nothing spectacular pretty plain straightforward but the pizza speaks for itself. read more

I love this pizza place. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, and the pizzas here are some next-level artisan-type stuff: perfectly flaky crusts that ride that line between light and satisfying, fresh pure melty mozzarella (none of this cheap blended nonsense), tender chicken and beef cooked just right. It takes a bit longer to come out due to the extra love and care, so their delivery times are a bit long. But it is so worth the wait. I particularly love their garlic chicken calzone, which was the decisive factor in converting me.
