My go-to is the classic milk tea at 70% sweetness. It's good, though I wish it had a stronger tea flavor. My boyfriend's favorite is the grapefruit tea. We used to love it when they included a whole pink grapefruit--it had so much more fresh citrus flavor. This location doesn't make it quite as well as the Ranch 99 Market location on Clairemont Mesa Blvd., probably because it doesn't seem to use as much grapefruit. It's still decent, just not as flavorful. I also tried the matcha, but it didn't taste like ceremonial-grade matcha, so I would probably skip that next time. Overall, I'd still come back because it's convenient, parking is easy, and the friendly staff always make for a pleasant visit. read more

The roasted oolong milk tea tastes so milky and being able to adjust triple shots for free makes the roasted tea flavor so pleasantly strong. When you get boba, they give sooo much boba and the drink size and topping amount is so much for what you pay compared to other boba tea shops. The new Uji matcha latte sub oat milk is so nice! Even my husband who doesn't like matcha likes it. Extra points that subbing oat milk is free. But waiting 15 minutes+ in store for your drink that was ordered 30 to 45 minutes in advance seems silly. Their shop at this location is small and can become extremely crowded and loud quickly. Not much fun waiting outside in the sun because seating is limited service is not always friendly the two girls behind the counter look very unhappy when I asked questions about the menu. Because I was looking for Taro and they were yet to have it. This is by far one of the best boba places in San Diego. They don't offer slushes or other fruit flavors . It's all tea drinks with the most generous portion of boba. Their boba is always chewy and fresh. They have a great loyalty reward program on this app where you can earn points easily to get discounts to free future drinks. I asked him what are you gonna do about it and he said nothing. I cannot print you a refund. I cannot give you a refund. Wushiland had already charged the card and he said he could not do anything to go ahead and take it up to corporate. Disgusting behavior. If you're having a shitty day, go home. I was on a journey to visit all 3 Wushiland Boba in the San Diego area on the same trip. I had visited the other two locations... one at The Westfield University Town Center and the other one at Kearny Mesa. I had a hard time finding this location because I didn't know it was inside the 99 Ranch Market space. It wasn't until I walked into the area that I saw Wushiland. The space where Wushiland is at now used to be Oo Tea... hopefully, they'll change the business sign soon so people don't get confused. Unfortunately, when I got here, they had already closed. The OO Tea inside the 99 Ranch Market on Clairemont Mesa is actually Wushiland Boba, I did not know that until my boyfriend pointed it out. This is one of his favorite boba places and his go-to is the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with boba. This tea is good, but I prefer the baby bobas that they have, called "pearls." Yay! They now offer organic fresh milk and oat milk! Was so happy to see those additions instead of only non-dairy creamers. We got the "ovaltine latte organic". It was yummy. I saw they have a green tea latte organic but I wish they offered a jasmine green tea latte organic because jasmine is my fave and I love getting it with oat milk. Location was a bit hard to find as it was inside a 99 ranch. Ordered a 50% sugar roasted oolong milk tea with mini boba. Loved the texture of the boba and actually was my first time trying mini boba. Really enjoyed the boba as unlike the normal size I didn't have to chew as much and still was able to appreciate the slight chewiness. 50% sugar was the perfect level here for sweet but not too sweet as I find occasionally 50% will land you in the sweeter side. This is by far the best Wushiland out of all locations and no o e can change my mind. I've tried the SGV locations in San Gabriel and Arcadia as well as UTC and it never hits like it does here!! I still remember it having the Oo tea sign! My go to is the Jasmine green milk tea with 50% sugar, less ice and light regular boba. It hits everytime and it's just so good. The tea is strong where I can still taste it, but at the same time it's pretty creamy. Boba is sweetened just right and texture is on point. This is my FAVORITE boba place in San Diego, no question about it. It's important to note that this is located in Ranch 99 and it isn't a stand-alone boba shop with seating. When they first opened, my friends took me to try it, wanting to see if this store lived up to its counterpart in Taiwan (50Lan or Wushiland as I was told). Spoiler Alert: it absolutely did. My go-to drink here is their orange green tea, but I've also tried (and loved) their yogurt green tea as well. Their tea is always freshly made and you can really taste the difference compared to other boba shops I've tried in the SD area. I guess the Roasted Oolong was popular that day, but maybe they should be more organized with how much tea needs to be made to prevent this from happening.
