Jungle Tea is a true hidden gem for anyone who loves bold, refreshing drinks. Their menu bursts with creativity and the drinks taste just as good as they look. I tried a creamy iced coffee that was perfectly balanced--rich and smooth without being too sweet--and a strawberry milk tea layered with real fruit and chewy boba that was pure dessert in a cup. The shop itself is bright and inviting, with a fun tropical theme that makes you want to stay and hang out. The drinks are beautifully presented (hello, swirl of fresh fruit!) and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Staff were friendly and quick, making the whole experience even better. Whether you're craving a classic milk tea, a fruity specialty, or a pick-me-up coffee, Jungle Tea delivers. Highly recommend treating yourself to this flavorful oasis--you'll leave refreshed and already planning your next visit!

Always down to try a new boba spot, and I stumbled upon Jungle Tea while doing some research, glad I did. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff, including the manager, Tony. I've been greeted before at plenty of boba shops, but this felt different. It wasn't just a quick hello; it felt like he genuinely wanted us there to experience what they've created, not just place an order and go. We were offered samples of their new Vietnamese coffee. We tried ube, egg, and banana. All were surprisingly good, and coming from someone who doesn't usually drink coffee, that says a lot. I ended up ordering the Crème Brûlée Purple Tiger (Ube Taro), and despite how sweet it might sound, it was perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet, just right. Honestly, the customer service alone deserves 4 stars, the drink pushed it to 5. Whenever I'm in the area, this will definitely be the first boba spot that comes to mind.

My partner and I wanted to try a new spot and stumbled upon Jungle area which turned out to be a great choice! Upon entering we were greeted by Tony who was super helpful and excited to share some of their new Vietnamese coffee drinks! I decided to get the banana cream but the egg and ube were also tasty choices! My partner went with the purple tiger Creme brûlée which was brown sugar milk tea with boba and Creme brûlée topping, soo good Customer service alone was amazing and the quality of the drinks followed right behind it, will definitely be coming back!

Super cute tea shop I happen to stumbled upon while I was in the mall for a dentist appointment. The service was great, the gal was patient with my indecisiveness. I order the Logan drink...so delicious! The place is nice and clean, great to hang out but problem is that there's no restroom for customers. I'll come back for sure!

Great food place with nice ambiance! The service lady or the lady on duty on that day 04/30/2026 afternoon was so kind and accommodating!

WOW this is some of the best boba i've had in SD! This is definitely a gem in the camino ruiz shopping center, so don't miss out, you may drive right past it! The shop itself is adorable and definitely abides by the "jungle" theme. The menu has all the favorites and the classics. I went with the wintermelon milk tea with boba and was not disappointed. Definitely the best wintermelon milk i've had in SD and the boba was cooked to perfection. Would definitely return!

The customer service here is incredible! The two ladies working here (I didn't get their names) were so friendly and helpful. They offered samples of their cold foam coffees, which all of them were delicious. I ended up ordering the banana cream coffee with crystal boba. It had a great blend of sweetness and banana flavor. I will definitely be back to try the other drinks.

I'm really sad I didn't like this place after reading the reviews. It's such a cute, little boba spot and I really wanted to love it. Unfortunately, it missed the mark in nearly every way. My guy got the Avocado Smoothie, which I didn't like at all and he said it was barely passable. I got their Taro Smoothie, which had zero taro flavor and was way way too sweet. I felt like I was just drinking straight sugar. The only thing I genuinely liked was the dragonfruit popping boba. I would rather have a bowl of that than try another actual drink from here.

Crème Brûlée Purple Tiger
Sammie L.

Crème Brûlée Purple Tiger is pretty good!Surprisingly not as sweet as I thought it'd be given that it's a crème brûlée drink. The ube and taro worked really nicely together! Staff were super sweet. Drinks took a little bit longer than the average time, but it was worth the wait! You can tell there was care put into the drink. Minus one star because it unfortunately didn't not have WiFi, so not the best to study or work :( It's still a cute little grab n go shop!

Jungle Tea in Mira Mesa is a little boba shop with a playful, tropical palm tree theme. I ordered the taro boba and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and well-balanced the flavor was. They have a good selection of drinks that go beyond just the classics, with some unique flavors and toppings you don't always find. One sip of that taro boba and I was sold. If you're in the Mira Mesa area and craving a fun, quick boba experience, Jungle Tea should be on your list. I'll definitely be back to try more of the fun flavors.

Enjoyed trying this boba spot in Mira Mesa! I was in the area and spotted its great reviews on Yelp so figured I'd stop by. It's located in a small shopping center with easy parking, very inconspicuous. The inside is very cute though and seasonally decorated. I had no idea what to order but the gal working the cashier was happy to provide a few recommendations. I ended up going with the Red Tiger at her recommendation, which was some sort of strawberry drink with a crème brûlée topping. They were unfortunately out of boba when I was there so I went with the strawberry jelly topping which had a nice texture and good flavor. One small downside is that the menu doesn't list what's in the drink, which would be helpful for some of their more speciality items. However the staff is helpful and was happy to elaborate. I would definitely return to try some of their other drinks. They had "bursting dragonfruit boba" on the menu too which sounded super interesting - Next time!

So glad to have found a place in San Diego that serves bánh cuốn as it's not an easy-to-find dish…read moreoutside of OC! I grew up going to Bánh Cuốn Tây Hồ in Westminster and crave this dish from time to time ever since I moved to SD, so I was so overjoyed to see that they serve a pretty close version of one of my favorite entrees, the Bánh Cuốn with Ground Pork [$15.08 w/ tax] -- the only difference being that Thien Huong does not pair the dish with the shrimp and sweet potato fritters. Nonetheless, the dish itself is exactly what I was looking for! Freshly steamed rice rolls filled with a savory mix of ground pork, wood ear mushroom, and onions and topped with crispy fried shallots with a refreshing side of shredded cucumber, cilantro, and bean sprouts! The dish also includes several slices of chả lụa as added protein. Everything is not only fresh but is just so well balanced! I am generally a picky eater, but this is one of the dishes that I will wipe clean as it's not only nostalgic but also THAT good! They have other dishes and classic Vietnamese drinks, like Viet coffee, but I have yet to try them. Parking is relatively easy if you're going during the weekday, but it does get crowded during the weekend. This place is frequented by many families and fellow Vietnamese, so you know it's good/authentic! I will say, service is just ok. You order at the counter and take a number with you to your table of choice (when they're not busy), and they'll bring your food out to you. Water is included with your meal! I will definitely be back!

The texture was good and it seemed freshly made, but the overall flavor felt pretty bland and lacked the depth I was hoping for. It wasn't bad by any means, just not particularly memorable. The standout for me was the bo ne. The sizzling beef was much more flavorful and satisfying, and it ended up being the dish I enjoyed most during the meal. It arrived hot, had good seasoning, and felt like the stronger menu item between the two. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I'd consider coming back for the bo ne, but I probably wouldn't order the bun cuon again. Overall, a decent spot if you're in the area, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for me.

The people who work there just seem happy and work well together. They're friendly and patient with me as I navigated their menu items. I could not decide what I wanted so I accidentally ordered 3 drinks: Roasted Oolong Milk Tea Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea 3Q Milk Tea The roasted oolong was for my sister so I don't know how it was but she wanted another one so that should tell you all you need to know. lol I love floral teas and Osmanthus oolong is my new favorite and it delivered. I opted for the agar aka crystal pearls and that was the right choice for the floral tea. I also accidentally drank the 3Q tea after and while not my favorite, I appreciated all the toppings and the tea was still good. The boba is super unique! It's got a nice, chewy kinda texture. I have never had boba like this before and I wish I had blacked out and gotten double boba.

I…read moreremember it being a Rita's Italian Ice at one point, then a bubble waffle shop, and now it's BoBaPoP Tea Bar. Honestly, boba fits the area way better now, especially since more tea spots have been popping up around here. I stopped in for a quick drink and there was a steady flow of people coming in and out, which is always a good sign. Inside is clean and modern, very simple but put together. You can order at a kiosk or go up to the cashier, which makes it easy depending on what you prefer. The menu has a solid variety. All your usual milk teas, fruit teas, slushies, and blended drinks, plus a good amount of toppings. They were also advertising a matcha ice spinner which caught my attention, so I'll probably come back to try that and see how their matcha quality is. I went with a mango fruit tea at 75% sweetness and added boba. I sat outside while waiting, they have limited indoor seating but a couple tables outside which is nice. The drink came out in about five minutes, so pretty quick. First thing I noticed was there were actual mango pieces in the drink, not just syrup. That was a nice surprise and added a good texture. They were soft enough to go through the straw too, so it didn't feel annoying to drink. Flavor wise, I do wish I went lower on the sweetness. Even at 75% it was still a bit too sweet for me, but that's more personal preference. The part that didn't really hit was the boba. It was a little mushy and didn't have that chewy texture I usually look for. It also had this slightly artificial honey taste that kind of overpowered the drink a bit. Not terrible, just not my favorite. It's a solid and convenient spot for the area. Good variety, quick service, and a nice setup. I'd come back, but probably switch up the toppings next time.
