The food is always amazing as well, you can tell that they only use high quality ingredients which I am more then willing to pay for. Second time coming here and the first time was great. The food is good but today the waitress was rude. We came in not knowing what time they closed. I had a short time to look at the menu and when asked I asked her for more time she said they were going to close soon so I needed to hurry. I randomly picked something, and as we were waiting more people walked in and were seated. The vibe was off so I cancelled our orders paid for the drinks and left. The manager asked what was wrong & I told her I felt her waitress was rude in rushing us. She said her cooks had to close the kitchen soon that's why but they would not rush us out of the restaurant. It's neither fair to me nor Jus' Jo's about the star system. Here's what happened to me. Today is May 22, 2022. My Group of five was in town for a convention that ended this weekend. I was looking for a great breakfast place and found Jus' Jo's as it was close to our hotel. I read the Yelp reviews and was curious as there were a ton of positive reviews and a few idiotic negative reviews to which the owner snarkily responded. I love that. We waited to eat all together so we could experience the bad or good service and the bad or good food. We were really looking forward to visiting. Well we pulled up and to our utter shock and surprise Jus' Jo's was CLOSED. The inside was dark and the doors locked tight. There was a yellow sign in the window of the door with tiny writing saying that it was employee appreciation week. Needless to say that we were genuinely disappointed, but we get it. Maybe one day we'll get to experience Jus' Jo' exceptional or disappointing service and food. read more

Bad experience. I've been here a handful of times and it had always been a good experience because of the customer service and decent food. This last time Me and a friend went on a week day to eat breakfast and catch up. We had been there about an hour when we were asked to leave by the owner because they were busy and needed our seats. When we went to pay I noticed that there were only two groups waiting. I understand they are on the smaller side but I've been to much smaller places for much longer and have never been treated like an inconvenience. Unfortunately no matter how nice you are it can't fix a bad experience. Won't be back. When I went to read some yelp reviews I noticed that this has happened to others. This is my favorite breakfast place when I'm in Fresno. Friendly service, large portions of well cooked food, and a pleasant environment. Now if you walk in starving, you'll stay that way for a bit because they are always busy and it takes a good 15-20 mins to get your food after you order, but once you do you'll decide the wait was worth it. They cook an amazing ham steak that's not salty like most, their biscuits and gravy is worth coming for all by itself and if you get in there on a Sunday they usually have a top notch eggs Benedict on special. It's been years since I've been here. Like, about 10. The last experience wasn't that great. We ended up leaving before our food came. I don't feel it was entirely their fault, as it was a busy morning. But I won't elaborate. Because we were in the area to pick up my car, we stopped in. Taking a look at the menu, there were so many good looking items. I wish I could have tried them all. But sadly I could only choose one. I looked to Yelp for advice, but everyone either said to try the cinnamon rolls, or some other breakfast item. No help at all..... The chilli verde burrito and The Chad looked real good, but I kept looking at Sandy's Burger. I knew I wasn't going to finish it, so I got the next best thing-Jo's Burger. Single patty, onion ring, bacon and BBQ sauce I believe, on a toasted sour dough bun. I personally don't like sour dough. And the toasting just makes the bread hard, and therefore, rough on the inside of my mouth when chewing. But the coffee was good. Our server disappeared for quite awhile after our food came. I would have really like more napkins, as my son was making a mess of his chilli cheese burger. But we made due with what we had, since we had no other option. Sitting in the restaurant, it reminded me of Mimi's with its decoration. Not nearly as clean as Mimi's, as some areas don't appear to get cleaned daily. This time as soon as we sat down we noticed our usual went up in price by $2.00 then we got coffee because to get that price you also have to buy a drink or it is even $2 more. So sorry guys. Very average. I met my Mother in Fresno for an early Mother's Day weekend. We decided to have Sunday breakfast at Jus' Joe's because that's what all the yelpers were saying! Yelpers here and there left reviews on other breakfast joint's pages stating: "Alright food, but Jus' Joe's is better", Jus' Joe's = "Yeah! All of it! You'll love it. Definitely Two Thumbs Up!", "I highly recommend Jus Jo's" I unfortunately did not have an outstanding experience. After waiting our turn to be seated, the host gestured in a direction that there were some open tables. I filled in the blank and said "Oh, our table is ready?". We sat down and then after some time, I started to look around to see why we had not been given a menu. The host then realized that we did not have menus and scurried over with glasses of water and menus. It seemed like our waitress was less than concerned of our needs, only asked in passing if everything was ok (as a speed of 5 footsteps per second). Food was average - but came out quick. Maybe I got my hopes up. I was really looking forward to the best breakfast in my life, but instead, you could mistake the building for a biker bar, and have compared the food to Denny's. Get there early and get there hungry! Best breakfasts in the area, and the service is always very friendly. The place isn't big, maybe 15 tables and booths max. The line can stretch into the parking lot weekend mornings, but if you call ahead they're more than happy to put your name on the waiting list. Doing this we've never waited more than 10 minutes for a table once we arrived. They have a standard menu of eggs, omelets, pancakes, etc., as well as a specials menu that changes weekly. They also serve lo-carb bread and are more than happy to substitute a huge fresh fruit salad for fried potatoes or hash browns. If you're fortunate enough to go there when the eggs Benedict are the special you are a lucky soul indeed. I've told them a number of times that they should add them to the regular menu. The only downside is that it is quite small, and the tables are packed in there. When it's heaving with folks, which it always is when I'm there, it can be hard to maneuver through the tables to get to your spot. But it most definitely is worth every effort. read more

Holy Yum! Before our trip to Yosemite, we stopped here to pick up some fuel for the soul. Good thing we did, because this place is perfect! Cozy, home-town feel - when you walk in you're immediately welcomed by some real good local folk. Dining area gets full quick, so come early for breakfast and brunch. Portions are HUGE and all dishes come with toast or biscuits. Bottomless cups of coffee and affordable pricing made this one of the best breakfast spots I visited while I was in CA. My buddy, who may I add is 6' 5" and 300lbs, couldn't get himself to finish the huge ham-steak breakfast. I don't blame him because with the biscuits and gravy, and 2 other sides he had, it was a sizable portion.
