Unfortunately, this coffee house used to be good. Now it's just a run of the mill coffee house. New owners are only concerned with dollars and cents. Not very easy manuevering around this place. They have brought in more chairs. Which are scattered about, lacks attention to detail. New owners don't have any allegiance to customers. Past owners used to be much more inviting and cared about what you thought. Even if it was just making a delicious cup of jo. New owners are Latino. I have been in this establishment quite a bit , it's usually hit and miss . Sometimes their attitudes Prelude the food , sometimes you can just sit and wait or stand by the counter and wait to order and you're ignored . On the whole I have not had a great experience there . But I always like to patronize local small businesses . So instead of going to Starbucks I was going there for a bit . This afternoon my 18 year old daughter and her girlfriend decided to stop in for a juice and a bite to eat . They immediately had the juice they sat down and decided what they wanted to order . It was exactly 3:45. The owner came over to my daughter and her girlfriend and said we are closed you need to leave . They physically or she physically took the chair out from under my daughter . And as my daughter was leaving she sarcastically said to my daughter bye-bye and don't come back . That was supposed to be the owner because when she went to my daughter she said I'm the owner we are closing you didn't order anything to eat you just had a drink .. obviously that is no way to run a business and when I called her just a few minutes ago to complain about the way my daughter was treated , she was as nasty as could be , she cursed at me for even bothering to call her and then she hung up on me . So now I go back to Starbucks where there's always a friendly face you can order a coffee and relax for as long as you want and no one will throw you out because they're in a bad mood . I do not recommend this place last time I was there I went into the restroom and it was filthy when I said something to the girl she just looked at me and rolled her eyes . So I have not been back since then . We all know what that means if a bathroom is dirty what does the kitchen look like . Save your money go to Starbucks read more

Too slow and take way to long! dont know how it's so hard to make someone's drink the way they ask. I've been going here for almost 2 years and every time I order my drink they can never get it right it always tastes different. I understand sometimes there are new workers so when I get offered a remake by management and when I go in to get my remake manager is very rude stating im just trying To get free coffee. Stopped in today on our way home from La Quinta. We wanted to pick up a quick bite as we are headed to LAX. This place was perfect! I had seen it reviewed on Yelp and there was a Starbucks in the Ralph's next door. We made a great choice in coming here! I had the Mexican Moca (as suggested by another reviewer) my husband had a house coffee and we both picked a pastry. Delicious! They also had quite a few options for breakfast sandwiches and quiches which also looked so tempting if we just had more time. EMPANADAS. Not just coffee here. Real Empanadas are the Best in the Valley. Great place with great service, coffee, smoothies, & bagels. But the real find here is that Mercedes bakes the Best Empanadas the way her mother did in Argentina. I absolutely love Just Java in Bermuda Dunes. I love the drive-through! The quality of their sandwiches is by far better than any other drive-through anywhere. There are some days that all I crave is their ham and cheese on a croissant; it is so delicious! I order the decaf iced latte with oat milk, it is divine! And as a extra perk, it comes with a beautiful fresh fruit cup or a homemade cookie or chips. I cannot think of anything negative to say unlike some of the people before me which is surprising to me. They have Hazelnut, Carmel, Vanilla, Almond, and Chocolate sugar free syrups for your drink! They also offer breve options on their menu which I love! Great place! Good coffee, great smoothies and the food is excellent - always fresh. A generous side of fruit comes with a sandwich, and the prices are overall decent for the area. I've never eaten there (just takeout) but looks comfortable. Plenty of seating inside and on the patio. One thing though, and the only reason I'm not making this 5 stars: the food pricing is not listed on their menu board apparently the prices change for different seasons (or so one of the baristas told me). Would be better if they used dry erase or some other way to list the prices. read more
