I absolutely loved my experience at Just Kabobs! The food was fantastic- I enjoyed a beef kabob plate. The meat was cooked perfectly, and I loved my sides of potatoes and salad (don't do bread, so I can't comment on the pita). I thought the house dressing was delicious too. The meal was extremely pocketbook friendly- I paid $8.00 and that included a fountain beverage, and I was unable to finish all of the food. The produce looked and tasted fresh, and the service was super quick and very friendly. I will 100% be back to this place to try other meals (gyros sounded lovely too). If I could give this place zero stars I would! I called the restaurant 2 weeks ago (4 weeks prior to my event). I asked how far in advance do I need to place a large catering order and do they deliver? The person on the phone asked me when my event was (which was a Sunday and I stated I thought they were closed and just wanted to make sure) and then put me on hold. He came back on and told me that I needed to call back 2 weeks in advance. I then asked how much delivery would be. I was told that they no longer delivered. Fast forward to today (2 weeks and 2 days prior to my event). I went to the restaurant to place my order. It was a large order for more than 200 people so I wanted to make sure it was correct when I ordered. When I walked in, I waited while a gentleman was helping another couple with their catering order. After they left, he asked what I was there for. I told him that I wanted to place a catering order..he literally ROLLED HIS EYES and asked me when I needed it. I told him that it was 2 weeks out and told him the date. He then said, we're closed on Sundays (which I knew and was why I had called and asked 2 weeks prior). I explained that I had called just to make sure because on their website in the catering portion it says 'Anytime, Any Size' oh and that they deliver.. I told him I knew they no longer delivered but I told them my date and they said it was fine. I also pointed out the 'Anytime, Any Size' was written on the van sitting in front of the building AND their website....his response was 'That's Old'! I'm so disappointed how I was treated and the arrogance of the person I spoke to. I would have liked to have been treated with the same respect as the customers before me and please consider changing your catering menu and van to say 'Any Size, Any Time EXCEPT SUNDAY' read more

I from time to time find myself in St Charles for work and whenever that happens, I stop here for lunch. A lot of people have the same idea and this place can get busy during peak hours. They have a drive-thru which is super convenient, but I usually eat-in as this can get messy. You get a ton of food for the money here. They have platters of food or just sandwiches. It is all good and a healthy option for a quick, inexpensive lunch. Service is super fast too, these guys have a system down and are super friendly. read more

Imagine a McDonald's where they backyard grill instead of making terrible food...imagine no more cause you have found such a place. Only better! This place is put together like a normal fast food joint but they sell meat kabobs, rice, potatoes, salads, and gyros. Among other things of course. But their staple is the kabobs. The food was quickly prepared and delicious. Basically it was like eating at a family BBQ but in a McDonald's. I ordered some Nicky chicken and beef Kabobs resting nicely on a pile of rice with a boiled potato on the side. For the combination plate they also give you gyros meat and tiny pita slices. Overall a very yummy place to eat and I wish they had more locations. It was a bit of a hike from where I live to get to it so sadly I cannot visit often. I hope this place takes off and we can expect more locations here in the burbs! read more

Premise/Intro: A small and chill Greek place that definitely gives you bang for the buck. Great gifts can come in small packages. Decor: The place isn't a fancy decorated place nor does it need to be since it's very clean and organized. Depending on how busy it is it can be hard to find a seat but we were able to find a booth. It was definitely packed which could attest to its popularity. Service: Thr service is quick and to the point. You pick the food you want and you ask some questions and they answer it. There is no wait service. So you're definitely telling them what you want on your plate and they fill it as you go. Think Subway. Food/Product: The food was good. The portions were definitely a very good size. There were potatoes, meat, salad, rice and so on. They definitely cover all the major food groups. Price: This is the where this place truly shines. Hard to find a place where you can get that much food for around $7. Overall experience/Conclusion: Definitely a place where I'd visit again. I had eaten here a few times before years ago when I worked in Saint Charles but had sadly forgotten about it. I happened to drive by it today since I now live closer to the area and it jogged my memory. I am so happy it did. I remember really liking the food but I forgot what an amazing deal it was. Their portions are huge and for the price, you can't beat it. Now that I remember it I will likely be a regular. Definitely need to try the gyros next time. My only disappointment is that the kabob plate did not come with tzatziki and they don't really take call ahead orders but drive-thru moved fairly quickly, even during the lunch rush. A lot of good food at a more than reasonable price. What's not to like about that?! 2 grilled chicken kabobs, pita bread, sliced potatoes, rice, and a Greek salad for $6.39. The chicken was juicy, the salad was fresh and had a great house dressing, and warm pita bread always tastes great. Also, the grilled vegetable are really good. On a side note, I got an extra beef kabob for my dog, and suffice to say, it was gone in about ten seconds. For one thing that could be improved, the rice could use some more seasoning. read more

We used to go to another one that was closer to our house, but that closed. Whenever we're out in Saint Charles we like to go to Just Kabobs. We miss having one close by, because the quality of the food and service is just worth the drive. I always get the chicken kabob dinner, the wife gets the beef kabob, and the kids get a combo each. For the kids $3.89 for a meal and a drink is just unheard of. My favorite side is the potatoes. Well worth the trip. read more

First time trying it today...the line for the drive thru was all the way down the main road! Even though there were 7 cars in front of us, the line moved quickly and it was well worth the wait! There was a long line at the drive thru which told me right away this place was as good! The line moved quickly which was a shocker because it pooped around the block. The staff was kind, efficient and organized. If that were not enough for the five star rating, the food was exceptional and you get a ridiculous portion for a reasonable price. I ordered the shrimp salad and my husband ordered the chicken kabobs. Both were delish but I think I'll go for the chicken next time, it was perfectly seasoned. This place is a real find. For less than $7 you can get a plate with two (decent sized) kabobs, rice AND potatoes, a side salad and pita bread. And the portions are generous -- I can never eat more than half of it at a sitting. Another thing I like here is you can get a side order of roasted veggies for a couple of bucks to add to your meal, and they're very tasty. Service is very attentive in this small dining room, and if you're dining in but all seats are filled, they won't even start filling your order until you have a place to sit. The staff is well-trained and really keeps on top of things. And there are a lot of different items on the menu -- the name "Just Kabobs" isn't really accurate; you can also get a gyro here, rotisserie chicken, a spinach pie, etc. There are a few slight negatives about the place, one being the HVAC system, which vigorously blows air onto diners' heads, and every 5 minutes or so it changes temperature and blasts you with incredibly hot air for several minutes at a time. Just when you start to think you can't stand it any longer, it stops, only to start up again a few minutes later. This detracts somewhat from the meal. Also, although the food always tastes great, there have been a couple of times my beef or chicken kabobs were a little overcooked and drier than I'd prefer. But these are minor quibbles. Just Kabobs offers a good quality, healthy meal at an excellent price and it's well worth checking out, either for dine-in or carryout. read more

You also get a lot for your money too! For 5 people we paid $29. I would recommend anyone who enjoys Mediterranean food to check this place out! The only complaint I have is to make the ordering process a little easier. You don't know where to start ordering and where to pay.
