For starters - we got the Brussels Sprouts Crostini. Unique appetizer to try - if you love brussell sprouts. For entrees, we got the cauliflower steak and fried chicken. I loved my cauliflower - the hummus and pita bread with it made it perfect. I wasn't trying for an all veggie meal, but it truly hit the spot. Nothing too heavy at all. My husband liked his fried chicken but wished it was spicier. He took half home and was able to spice it up with a sauce. Overall - a great meal that we would go back to if we were in the area.

It can get a bit loud inside during the weekends and peak hours, so not ideal if you prefer quieter environments to do work. I had the pick two, which was a half a sandwich (grilled cheese) with a half salad (kale Caesar). The salad was so good! Fresh, crisp and lightly dressed. However, the grilled cheese was pretty sad. I opened it up and there was hardly any cheese. It was just like eating two pieces of grilled bread. They need to improve on that for sure. I also had their 12oz wildflower latte which was very tasty, but served lukewarm and not hot. If the milk is not steamed, it will bring down the temperature of the coffee. I like my specialty coffees served hot. I do have to say every staff member we came in contact with was friendly. They seemed happy and were there to help and answer questions. You place your order at the counter, and you receive a number which you display at your table. There are two dining areas with tables and a few booths to dine at next to where you place your order. Members of the staff bring your order to the table. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. Even with the sad grilled cheese sandwich which was disappointing and the lukewarm latte, I would definitely go back to Blackberry Market again to try other items on their menu. I'll pass on the grilled cheese, though.

Thankfully my group got there just in time (930ish) and we were seated right away. Service was great from start to finish - drink orders were taken within a few mins of being seated and food orders were taken once our drinks were set on our table. Even with a packed house our server kept up with the hustle and bustle. We were in and out within an hour and 15 mins. The food and drinks here are pretty standard compared to other comparable/average brunch places. Portion sizes are generous, I don't typically leave with a to go bag however my tummy always goes home full and satisfied! A must try side in my opinion is their English muffins and house made jam, sooooo good!!

The atmosphere hits that perfect sweet spot, warm, welcoming, and buzzing with just enough energy to make you feel like you found the place. Cozy without trying too hard, friendly without being fake, and full of that comforting breakfast chaos that somehow makes coffee taste better. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and somewhere between the first bite and the shamefully aggressive scraping of the plate, I experienced personal growth. These weren't sad, cafeteria biscuits fighting for survival under mystery gravy. No. These biscuits showed up with confidence. Fluffy, buttery little clouds carrying gravy so rich and comforting it could probably talk me through my taxes and unresolved childhood issues. By bite three, I was mentally canceling my responsibilities and considering forwarding my mail to Glenn Oak. The dangerous part? I looked around and realized everyone else seemed equally possessed by whatever culinary wizardry is happening in that kitchen. Suddenly ordering one thing felt irresponsible. If the biscuits and gravy hit this hard, what else are they hiding back there? Glenn Oak is the kind of place that makes you want to tell everyone you know... and absolutely nobody at the same time because waiting longer for a table sounds emotionally devastating. 10/10. Bring stretchy pants, poor decision making, and don't make plans immediately after because you may emotionally commit to staying all day!

There's a quiet pride in the air now, a sense that the place knows it has blossomed. Every morsel was beautifully balanced, from the crisp, refreshing cucumber canapés to warm flaky scones to the indulgent sweets served with a bright sherbet to cleanse the palate. The pumpkin soup was exquisite, velvety and comforting, and the trio of teas were brewed with the care of someone who respects the leaves. Service was excellent: friendly, attentive, warm without being intrusive, exactly what a tea service deserves. This is a special time of year at Suzette's, when you step in from the cold and are welcomed into a space that feels elegant, glowing, and lovingly kept, a perfect little escape, wrapped in French charm and good company. My Mom and I celebrate this tradition yearly. And usually, they all are very similar. Think fancy hotels: the ritz, the intercontinental, the Drake...and even though Mom and I love them, the pastries every year are pretty much the same. Cold stale little sandwiches, cold refrigerated desserts, one teapot at the table, snobby waiters, etc etc. It is nice and familiar, we sort of have lowered our expectations over the years. We just pick a hotel and go. So when we reserved a new place - not a hotel!!, we were not sure what to expect. We were completely blown away. Throughout the whole experience, very nice and kind servers brought around refills of 3 types of teas. We were never running low on tea. All of the pastries were made either right then or that morning. I went to the bathroom and walked by a large pan of cranberry scones that came out of the oven and felt the warmth. The pumpkin bisque and delicious, warm quiche was to die for! The desserts at the end with the sorbet were incredible. We had never had a tea with warm food before. The hostess as well as all waiters and waitresses were friendly. There was a gentle piano playing Christmas music in the background. I also loved our cushioned seats. The temperature of the room was so comfortable. And the best part - they came around with extras of their pastries and snacks! We had never been to a tea where they passed out extras. The silverware and plates were also gorgeous - we didn't feel rushed and I loved that there wasn't some heavy metal tiered serving tray that other teas use. It also is casual - Mom was in jeans, some people were dressed up and others weren't. It felt like a special experience. We couldn't believe how amazing it was from start to finish. We already booked for 2026. For the cost ($50), you are getting an exceptional Christmas tea. Usually we pay double that per person as well for a less than mediocre tea experience. Consider us forever patrons!!!!!
