I've been going to this place since it opened. I've never had a bad experience. Today was no exception. This was a late but much appreciated Christmas gift. I had an appointment with Opal for an hour long, deep tissue massage. She found every place where I was having a problem almost by magic. And those small, amazingly strong hands worked until all my knots were jelly. It is a no frills place but the atmosphere is soothing and relaxing. And it is so inexpensive! She asked what I wanted her to focus on (shoulders, neck, upper back) and she really did a great job. I love strong and medium pressure and she was a perfect balance. I carry all my stress in my neck and shoulders and, with my stress level increasing, decided it's time for a massage. I've gotten tons of massages from all sorts of places and usually leave my massage ranging from feeling like I just wasted my money to content. But today I was much more than content-- I felt amazing and LOVED my massage, thanks to Jib! (I hope I spelled her name right.) It was somewhat atypical.... not quite what I was used to. There was a bit of yoga/stretching and Jib actually climbed on top of me and massaged me with what I can only assume were her feet and elbows. But it all felt great! She is slight but has plenty of strength to get to the correct trigger points and deep tissue problem areas. There were ample comments on here about the poor front desk service, guess I was lucky because everyone was professional and cordial throughout my entire visit. So, you walk in, check in, and the massage starts. I have visited several therapist's there, all of them good. However, I have been going to Priya now for 2 years. You can build your own massage with her.....Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, or even a combo. She's the best, I recommend her to all my friends. You will too. So times are a-changing. I can no longer get my packages and get a massage because the owners don't seem to care about the requirements needed to get your money out of medical flex spending. Our company wants two receipts, the credit card and one that says payment received on company letterhead. We have asked for this and they say they can not go back and get the necessary receipts so we started asking for it ahead of time and they seem to forget. They don't know how to 'fix' this problem. He is in school to be a P.T., so his hrs are only on Mon-Wed-Fri 5:00 P.M. to closing time. He knows the zones of the body to give the Perfect rub down. Always so relaxed afterwards. The price tag is ideal for a 1 hr $45 or $70 for an 1 1/2. I bought the 10 pack 1 hr massage card *great investment if you are into having a massage at least once or twice a month* and I will add on money if I end up going 1 1/2 hr. This is not a spa by any means. Just a few rooms for massage w/ a phone girl/guy in front checking you in. Parking is a pain at this location since it is in a mini mall with a small free parking lot that is shared with the other shops or street parking on the side at certain times of the day. Only draw back. You can pay cash or cc it, but no checks. Hot Stone treatment is no longer a service. If you need just a basic massage and your in the area...this is the place to try. read more

Can't beat the price - it's not a real fancy place outside...but when you get in your room it's quiet and they play tranquil music - but the most impt. part is that they give you one HELL of a massge . Had some of the better ones come to do home massage with good result........................more motivated if getting $50/hr instead of half of $45 with deductions for sheets and credit cards. Have had some so horrible I reported them to the owner, who is a dunce, who finally did credit me instead of being reported to Consumer Affairs. I've been a patron of this massage studio for at least 8 months now. And the reviews of the extremely RUDE and Unprofessional receptionists here are 100% accurate. The only reason I've been going is because they do have good therapists here: Pria, Opal, Angie for example. But my last 2 experiences here are deal breakers. I'm never coming back!!! The first one: I booked my appointment in person 3 wks in advance and when I checked in they lost my booking. No reason for the mistake- just "I don't know what happened" from the receptionist. Don't care, you're just out of luck. Fine, everyone makes mistakes. I made an appointment again. Same day but three hours later, I check in. Again RUDE receptionist with an uncaring attitude, "I don't know what happened". Really? I know I wasn't lost. I called the same number I've called the last few months. I called three hours ago. Whatever the reason, customers should be treated with respect. The receptionist doesn't even look up at you when u stand in front of her. If you want a massage and don't care if your are met with disrespect, come to this place. read more

My go to guy is Nori, at first I wasn't comfortable with a male masseuse but he's so good at getting me to relax and enjoy the massage that I forgot all about it. The negative here is not the massage therapists. All of those who have given me a massage were excellent (some better than others). The problems are the receptionists and the online appointment setting system. The receptionists need training in customer service because they make it clear they just don't give a damn about the clients. But the real problem is the online booking system. I made an appointment, got a confirmation number and went for my massage. Problem was they'd emailed me to let me know that the appointment needed to be rescheduled. Of course their email wound up being diverted to the spam file and I didn't get to see it until I got there. I'd never before had a problem with getting an appointment once I got the online confirmation number. I work in a business where we allow our customers to book their own appointments online. Our software asks them if they want a reminder by email or phone. We call to confirm appointments. And we will keep calling until we reach a live person if there is a problem and the appointment needs to be rescheduled due to a conflict. If Just Massage wants to use email to send out confirmations, fine. But when an appointment has to be rescheduled, a phone call should be made. Considering they insist on getting a phone number you can be reached at before you can book an online appointment with them, if they aren't going to use it then don't ask for it. read more

Priya is amazing. I always go for the 1 1/2 hour. Keep in mind this is not a high end spa. No frilly water, no fancy changing room. But when you need a good re-tooling of your back this is the place to go for affordability. I've been coming to this location for 10 years and it is with great sadness that I have to write this review. I am completely disappointed with the service and how much this place has become run down. The sign in the front on top of the building is awful. When you go into the studio the waiting area chairs are run down. I got a massage yesterday and while I was getting the massage the music that comes through the speaker was muffled and muzzled because the speaker was broken and the music kept skipping it was the most uncomfortable I have ever been on top of that the massage therapist that I had left a lot to be desired. I normally have my regular therapist that I go to but they weren't in. But I needed to see someone because I was in a lot of pain. so I asked for someone who is very seasoned and is great with deep tissue. What I got was the complete opposite. I know that there is a process if you're not enjoying the massage you have 15 minutes to walk out but I really wanted to give her a chance and I verbalized what I needed from her to feel better... it didn't help maybe she didn't understand me. At the end of the massage the receptionist asked me if I liked it and I said no I paid anyway for the service even gave a tip. Today I called and spoke with the owner explaining the situation trying to see if there's anything that could be done and she essentially said no. The therapist are independent contractors. To me that seems a little weird you're the owner of the company there has to be something you can do whether it's a gift card to get comped for another massage or something I've been coming there for 10 years I've referred at least five or six people who still go there to this day. I've never complained I've never had to make this kind of a call or a complaint ever you would think that loyal customers are appreciated well right now I don't feel very appreciated at all.
