I tried Just Pizza on Bowen road, unfortunately the pizza doesn't have enough sauce, it had little flavor, overall just not a good pizza.

Sure, several of the best slices may come from in or near NYC, and sure, the best deep dish pies certainly come from Chicago (but decidedly not from the national Chicagoan chains, at all). But when it comes to consistent, basic, perfect greasy Italian American pizza, nobody does it like Buffalo and Detroit. And here, yet again, we have another perfect example of WNY's greatest and most underrated delicacy... it's pizza. Even as nearby as Rochester, Syracuse, Ithaca, Toronto, Erie and Cleveland, they simply can't do it like WNY does. Elma Pizza is a pretty amazing Pizzeria and really underrated. It's thick and chunky and greasy and delicious and the person at home who loves pizza really loved it and helped me wolf it down (or Fox it down in my case). I'm surprised that it doesn't have more fans and reviews, considering how good it is, which might be because it closed down and then opened up again. In any case it's really great and you need to come out to Elma and give it a try if you want to try all the great slices of Western New York - this is definitely one of them and it's cheaper than most, with good service. While you're at it, you must also try Imperial, Bella, Mineo's, Franco's (Eggert), Mattina's, Pizza Oven/Ventry's (NF), Good Guys (NT), and more. Now I hate to be like Elma Fudd, but I have to go find me some wabbits.

But the first time we ordered subs, chicken fingers and I got a stinger sub which was so delicious had had to post a comment, I don't know what happened here but keep up the fantastic food coming, If you live in the area or close try it, I think you'll be pleasantly pleased... Oh if you ask for extra crispy wings they do that too but don't keep the box closed on the way home, they will be steamed...(soggy) I only gave 4 stars because I like sweet Hot peppers and they don't have them Yet.....

When you first enter, there is a phenomenal selection of specialty pies, and all are included in their two slice & soda special for $9. They offer both fountain sodas and a generous selection of refrigerated drink options also. Once you order, there is a back dining room with several different size tables, but all with Bills chairs, which is a neat trend we loved seeing in this area, despite being from Florida. The man who greeted us was kind helpful and I was impressed with the pizza options. We ordered: - Buffalo Chicken: had a really good flavor & was my favorite! - BBQ Chicken: my son loved it - Margerhita: also had a good flavor - Pickle: the best we've had by far - Beef Pattie: looks like a Jamaican one but isn't spicy and had a very strange almost veal or lamb taste. Overall the flavors of the pizzas were really very good, but unfortunately every slice was so overcooked and burnt that it quickly overtook the great flavor of each bite. Now, the thing is, everyone likes different kinds of pizza, and apparently Brooklyn style isn't necessarily our jam, but for something we really don't like (black crust), it was still very good and we would highly recommend it to people who like more cooked pizza.
